Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.29.11)
If you think that a terrorist ever learns the meaning of "truth" and "loyalty," then you're beyond redemption. And that's a fact. TA TA

The US is also the largest supporter of UNRWA. When you total in the all the aid that the US gives the Arabs, it comes to just over one half of all the aid they receive. I imagine that the House of Representatives is going to cut foreign aid a lot this year. I bet that aid to the PA is going to suffer, hopefully 100%. The Tea Party isn't too keen on the UN donations either. If they feel that aid to Israel has to go as well, then thanks for all the aid your great nation has given us and we hope that you recover you economy soon. All our best to the most generous people on the planet.
34. think about !!!!!!!!!!!!
abo mazen ,   gaza   (03.29.11)
hi every body first of all what incentives have been given to abo mazen to rely on. what did he achieve from this useless and endless negotiations???!!! have you as israelis offer him any logic or realistic bargain to say to the palestinian, i am ready to sign??!!!! how many rounds havebeen run within several years!!!????? oh, who you are believing in the peace that is a glorious concept , the moral feature and the fantastic goal that all we need???!!! please you want every thing without giving !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! trust me if abo mazen would have gone, it is difficult to find the partner he is the last man in the generation that is able to concluding not only a truce but also a peace bargain. we have no thing to loose, we are under occupation since ages, and we are ready to stay as we are until genuine and degnified peace the time is running
35. Two things Israel can learn from the P.A.
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.29.11)
Sometimes one can learn from even one's most despicable enemy. There are two things Israel can learn from the P.A. Firstly, Never make concessions. The P.A. never makes concessions. Nobody expects it to make concessions or pressures it to do so. Israel should do the same. Secondly, Don't accept U.S. financial aid. Israel, unlike "Palestine", doesn't need it. Moreover, it's cost is damning in terms of Israel's sovereignty and trade. Many an Israeli trade deal has been nixed, especially in defense, due to demands from the State Department. However, most importantly, Israel must make all he own policy decisions.
36. Remember, Ramallah has more Mercedes than Tel Aviv.
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.29.11)
Recently, a number of journalists reported the "Palestinian" economy was booming and that Ramallah had more Mercedes than Tel Aviv. What they didn't say was that the fancy cars, chalets etc. supposedly produced by the miraculous "Palestinian" economy are actually purchased with aid sent by foreign suckers.

When are you going to start to practice what you preach ? ta ta, the sound a woodpecker makes when it's beating its beak on wood,or when it's hitting itself on the head
38. #33 Agree with most of your post, but...
Lobo ,   USA/Israel   (03.30.11)
Actually I heard that the aid to Israel was going to become part of the Defense budget, and wouldn't be affected. But I agree with you. Many here would love to see the USA spend less on terror organizations that hate our guts...
39. #34 from gaza: think about !!!!!!!
eporue ,   europe   (03.30.11)
what abu mazen has reached with his "useless and endless" negotiations ? if israel hadnt stopped or blocked all efforts, the west bank would have their own state by now... he has achieved, that most of the world supports a palestinian state, and will go far for it - with widereaching support... but he will lose EVERYTHING, when he relies on gaza. when gaza and west bank go together, the thing is lost... why are you so afraid, to become part of egypt ?

BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (03.30.11)
Abbas' efforts have been solely devoted to getting Israel to make concessions, without him being willing to make any of his own Settlement construction was halted for 10 months, Abbas diddled until the very last month At that point, he again stated he would only sit down to talk, only if Israel agreed to his demands in advance, which never happened and never will
