1. Salma, I wonder what you have to say.....
(03.29.11)
2. mmm. Raping Little Boys
Douglas Fireman ,   Chicago, USA   (03.29.11)
No trial for these bastards. Castration, and a life sentence
3. ".....are also suspected of indecent acts."
(03.29.11)
There is something more indecent than raping an 11 yr old?
4. Palestinians did this in East Timor as well
Thomas ,   US   (03.29.11)
They were sent as peace-keepers but they molested and raped children they were supposed to protect. If Helen Thomas was right, the media would have been all over this story. http://www.etan.org/et2005/march/20/21digers.htm
5. How is it the boy said nothing over the weeks?
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (03.29.11)
Where were the parents? If the boy is incapable of watching over himself, he shouldn't be left alone. But there's lots of blame to go around - to the police who neglected to arrest these illegals earlier, to the event hall administrators who hired them (no doubt as cheap labor). But most of all of course to the scum who perpetrated these crimes.
6. Using sex for terror.
Josh ,   US   (03.29.11)
There are no bounds to their savagery. This is sexual terrorism. They are doing the same to young women through out Israel. At what point do we say enough?
7. Should I go to Israel?
Joav ,   Germany   (03.29.11)
I often hear from my friends to make Aliyah, but I often ask myself if Israel can protect me and my children from the danger like this one? I guess no! I dont need a court for these men who rapped this boy, if this were my son I would take justice in my own hand, because Israel couldnt pretect our children in our land, I would stay outside.
8. Salma, like USA journalist in Cairo and woman in Libya!
(03.29.11)
9. #5; Raymond, Blames the victim, again!
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (03.29.11)
Really nothing more has to said about that cold an silly remark by the typical antisemitic fool. BTW, Read post #4, looks like the Arabs have a problem? Should we judge all Arabs by these two stories (this one, and #4 posts, link), since that seems to be what the anti-Israel writer's always do! We'll see if they apply the same logic here or the typical double standard. Who wants to bet? What should be the penalty for grown men who intimidate and repeatedly rape an 11 year old boy?
10. They have no respect for their own
Rachel ,   US   (03.29.11)
They do this to their own women. So this brutality is not surprising.
11. our critics call this birthpangs of peace
Golan ,   Modiin   (03.29.11)
I call it bestiality.
12. Answer to #3
SNS   (03.29.11)
"Indecent acts" is a legal term for sexual abuse that does not include pentration or oral sex.
13. guilty until proven innocent, welcome to Israeli justice!!
Moise   (03.29.11)
No investigation, no presumption of innocence if the suspect is Arab!! Shame on you Israel
14. Answer to #7
SNS   (03.29.11)
The rates of sexual abuse in Germany are the same as in Israel.
15. Answer to #5 Robert Haymond
SNS   (03.29.11)
Most victims of sexual abuse never speak of their abuse. That this 11 year old boy was able to tell his brother after only a few weeks shows great strength. In the ynet talkbacks you have frequently voiced your doubts about claims of sexual abuse (I understand that Haaretz won't publish you any more and that is why you changed your "name). Exactly because of people like you (a psychologist?) victims don't tell that they have been abused.
16. #13
(03.29.11)
Who said anything about guilty? They are suspected and in custody.
17. #5; Raymond, After looking at your post.
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (03.29.11)
A second time I realized I jumped the gun, and did not read it in its entirety. I apologize, the beginning of it so annoyed me, I thought it was something it wasn't. Again I'm sorry.
18. # 13
Thomas ,   US   (03.29.11)
They were arrested as suspects. They weren't convicted. Shame on you for not understanding the difference.
19. Answer to Mark from Georgia #9 and #17
SNS   (03.29.11)
You didn't jump the gun. "Raymond's "question " why did the victim not report it sooner" is by definition, blaming the victim. In addtion, he blames others. But he puts part of the blame on a sexually abused 11 year-old boy
20. 7 should I go to Austria?
(03.29.11)
21. #5 Robert Haymond, don't be so quick to judge the boy
Howard K   (03.29.11)
Children are so ashamed and traumatized by these horrendous acts that they can be incapable of talking about them, particularly if their parents are strict. Even children who are bullied at school keep the pain to themselves and parents only find out when the kid kills himself.
22. Where are all the "human right" organizations?
Maor   (03.29.11)
oh, I forgot, it's just a Jewish kid, no one cares...
23. Death Sentence for All
(03.29.11)
24. Death Sentence for All Rapists!
Linda Rivera ,   New York, USA   (03.29.11)
The sick perverts also kidnapped the little boy and G-D gave the death sentence for kidnapping. The child has been scarred for life by these inhuman filthy predators. These demonic monsters must never be released to perpetrate more evil. Please, G-D, help this little boy and his family.
25. There is an on going investigation
Arnie ,   Canada   (03.29.11)
as per the writer"The victim has been undergoing therapy since the investigation was launched."
26. Sexual abuse of boys is part of the culture in Afghanistan
Howard K   (03.29.11)
And the Allies are at a loss on what to do about it. They know the Afghan soldiers and police they work with every day routinely engage in these activities. They don't know how to broach the subject. The media is silent.
27. 5 shame on u for such ugliness.
(03.29.11)
do u have any facts? or is it simp0ly ur nature to attacks the victim first?
28. 7. there are any children abused in Germany?
(03.29.11)
foolish post.
29. #5 I have always respected your post as you are
Al   (03.29.11)
a fellow once upon a time student of Mcgill U. However to try to blame an 11 year old kid for his victimization is surely beneath you. You should know better. As to the dumb Jews who insist on hiring Arabs as cheap labour. I would show you no mercy.
30. #15 and #21 re #5 from Raymond in DC:
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (03.29.11)
Kindly note that the name applied to #5 is "Raymond" and he lists himself as being from DC. I am Robert Haymond, "Israel/Canada" and, as always, I list my actual email address whereas Raymond from DC does not. I am more aware than most Readers of how children who are sexually abused will fail to report it and, furthermore, how some will be intimidated into returning to the locale of their (former) abusers. Why am I aware? Because, as a professional psychologist, I dealt in the area of forensic psychology, with sexually and physically abused children as well as their abusers and alleged perpetrators. #15 was particularly virulent in his/her condemnation of me. It appears to have been both a case of mistaken identity on his part as well as a very hostile attitude which, somehow, he/she has carried within himself about me (a fictitious me, as it turns out). Should I feel complimented that I have made such an impression on #15? At any rate, both #15 and #21 owe me and the reading public an apology. Both of you would achieve some credibility if you were to accomplish this. I somehow doubt that either of you will, however. Surprise me!
