10. Golden Rule
Ev ,   Tel Aviv   (03.30.11)
don't mix business and family. Abu Sisi probably figured that his wife was incapable of keeping his secrets, and he was right.
11. #4 why? because
Yossef   (03.30.11)
abducting an israeli citizen, would he be a slodier, on israeli ground is ok with international law?
12. To:christianpalestinian,
EM ,   Ra'anana   (03.30.11)
Just like the world 'allowed' Hamas get away with kidnapping Gilad Shalit. He was kidnapped..taken across a border and for over 5 YEARS no independent contact. No Red Cross visits, No Doctors w/o borders, NOTHING. Israel has tried everything to free him. Even considering to release hundreds of convicted terrorists. But Hamas wants the most sickening, bloodthirsty killers too...like the type that slash throats of babies. MAYBE employing Hamas kidnapping tactics will work. Not the best solution...but not the worst either. Of course expecting Hamas to do 'the right thing, and release Gilad...is out of the question.
13. #4
Ben ,   usa   (03.30.11)
Did you write to complain about all of the people that were killed by terrorists on the bus in Jerusalem?? Is that also a violation of international law??
14. Really,
Eli ,   Yerushalayim   (03.30.11)
Gilad too has not mentioned that he knows Abu Sisi, or his wife.
15. #14 Christian/Palestinian
BEN JABO ,   USA   (03.30.11)
Murdering Israeli's while they're sleeping, killing the infants for bad measure is also a violation of Law If you want to quote "International Law", you too have to conform to it Hmmmm, I seem to recall that the Arabs violated the UN Partition Plan, would you care to comment on that ?
16. #8 e[porue- First you must educate yourself
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (03.30.11)

20. Shalit was captured on gaza battlefield, not kidnapped
christianpalestinian ,   las vegas   (03.30.11)
please stop the lies and propaganda. Cowards.
21. To: No. 4
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.30.11)
Terrorism runs counter to all codified principles of international law, too. How does the world let the ersatz "Palestinians" get away with such nonsense, even when they proudly trumpet to the world that they are responsible? Hmm? By the way, everyone's protestations to the contrary, Abu Sis is known to be a member of Hamas, which is acknowledged to be a terrorist organization by the United Nations, the United States, Israel, Canada, the European Union and quite a few other countries. Guess what? A member of a terrorist organization is therefore a terrorist. He loses the right to claim protection under international law. So I think you should stop giving us the "benefit " of your "sage" pronouncements, at least until you pass the bar exam, okay?
22. Abu Sis 4 Shalit
Swap ,   Israel   (03.30.11)
23. TO #4
SBG ,   USA   (03.30.11)
clear violation of intl law? 1. is sending 50 rockets and mortars, along with phosphorus into cities not a violation of intl law? 2. is bombing a bus station, wounding dozens not a violation on intl law? 3. is abducting a soldier during a cross border raid not a violation of intl law?
24. Israel is responsible for treating him well.
Michael ,   California, USA   (03.30.11)
OK, even if he is a "terrorist" he should be treated fairly and have an access to the Red Cross (or a similar organization) to show the world how a civilized country behaves. Admittedly, kidnapping him in Ukraine wasn't "civilized," but as a Hamas member (could he hold a senior position in the Gaza operation without being a Hamas member?) and a person who knew about Gilad Shalit, he is is a legitimate source of information when the enemy refuses to cooperate. As soon as the information is extracted from him, he should be exchanged for Gilad or prosecuted by an Israeli court under a full access to international press.
25. #20 christian/palestinian
BEN JABO ,   USA   (03.30.11)
Cowards ?,,Then tell us why you're hiding las vegas, instead of being at the Battlefront in Gaza with your comrades ? Since Hamas has declared war against Israel & Jews no matter where they may be, Israel is perfectly entitled to obtain one of their enemies too Just remember, you called Gaza a battlefield, as such it's entitled to all the benefits of war, artillery barrage & bombings, and last but not least, the cutoff of all supplies to the battlefront
26. Liar. He was captured on the Israeli side of the border.
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (03.30.11)
You (christianpalestinian) are a liar. Shalit was not "captured on gaza battlefield", but on Israeli territory. Using your own words, kidnapping people overseas [or rather beyond your own borders] is a "clear violation of international law".
27. A misguided soul....
marco ,   spain   (03.30.11)
"She is sure that her husband will be released because he didn't do anything wrong" Obviously she is not well informed about the Jewish state. She should be briefed by human right groups and read about the criminal indictments facing Israeli leaders. She should enquire about the reason why Livni could not go to London.
28. To: No. 24
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.30.11)
I agree that he should be treated appropriately while held by Israel, but as to contact with a supposedly neutral third party? Sure. Give him exactly the same contact that Gilad Shalit enjoys, which is to say -- none whatsoever. They'll know he's been well-treated when he is produced in exchange for Gilad Shalit, or tried in Israel. Until then, Hamas is not civilized and they know it -- showing them how a civilized nation behaves and expecting a change in behavior on their part is tantamount to teaching a dog to recognize letters and expecting him to read aloud. Won't happen. Can't happen.
29. He told them them that his wife is not actually blond
Mark   (03.30.11)
she colors her hair... Valuable information my foot... The guy is an engineer, has nothing to do with hamas and eventually those guys will appear at the gauge.
30. #20 He was kidnapped from his own side of the border.
Eli   (03.30.11)
Lies and propaganda are all on your side, coward.
