There is nothing to prevent India from buying Iranian oil. There is certainly no UN resolution prohibiting the purchase of Iranian oil. Just because the US treasury blacklists some corporations doesn't mean that anyone else has to share that opinion. Chest thumping from the US isn't quite as impressive as it used to be. India is the world's largest democracy with several times the population of the US. They certainly don't have to pay special attention to the pompous and patronizing opinions of some shill for Israeli interests from the US.
