The weapons that the Arab and Muslim leaders bough to fight Israel are very useful to stay in power and come in handy fight their own people. I hope the Arab people that are able to do away with their dictators will realize that a better life and a future for their kids are more sensible goals than the destruction of Israel.

Just like in Kosovo, first they are going to bomb everything in country: Army forces, command bases, factories, all industrial sector, communication, churches, mosques, community centers, embassies, civilians. Then they are going to invade what is left from the country, divide it, fight against last remnants of desperate civilians (for simple reason: Locals would be so happy to see what NATO made with their country). All of this along with enormous rise of crime (which will grow in geometrical progression). Then they will judge Qaddafi, sent him into a jail and leave. "Lets bring democracy somewhere else!" their politician will say and will do the same thing (ans increase our political rating). How many times we saw it? Should I post the list of countries? And these people DARE to speak something against Israel?!

Why are the US, France and the UK so hell bent on destroying Libya and Gaddafi if the Pro Gaddafi outnumber the rebels by 10 to 1. He may be a tyrant but isn't it better the devil we know. I do not believe that anyone know too much about the rebels yet these countries have supported them, armed them and destroyed much of the country .

If Egypt can turn on the US so quickly then Libya and its tribal culture could.

Is there somebody out there, who can tell from the picture, that these are in fact Israeli made weapons? I mean this question in all seriousness. According to the article itself it stated that no Israeli markings could be made out from this picture. Right under the title to this article it states "Al Jazeera reports", so this information about the rebels, and the weapons they allegedly confiscated, come from a questionable source. Al Jazeera is well known for it's bias reporting with a clear political agenda. Frankly these pictures could have come from anywhere. We just don't know. The picture is basically meaningless, without knowing who (what person) took the picture, the date it was taken, other pictures taken on the same day from the same camera, the fact no markings are visible for ID from pictures, all make it useless, except as propaganda. In the end all we really have is another baseless charge to implicate and vilify Israel, no big surprise there, right?

this sounds believable, since those western airstrikes are targeting the despot Gadhaffi's territories & villages where there are civilians loyal to the dictator, so is this not "genocide" committed by the UN forces aginmst civilians, well, the oil is more important that the lives of this Libyan civilians, whar a greed, surely GOD won't leave this unpunished!
