1. Anybody is got a map?
Abraham Nachmias ,   Petach Tikva IL   (04.02.11)
In all maps, including the ones the UN propose, Jaffa is part of Israel. So this cries of our land are far from reality. Jaffa is Israel, whoever doesn't like it may leave, if they need help to leave we will pay the flight ticket and give them some money, we don't want people to live in Israel against their will!!!
2. At least the Arabs who don't like Israel have 22 countries
Itamar Gaon   (04.02.11)
to which they can immigrate. I suggest they do it now, and join their brethren elsewhere where the head of states are not "traitors".
3. These people are not our people.
Keren ,   IL-BR   (04.03.11)
Calling arabs 'Israelis' is a contradiction. They do not belong to us.They have huge lands belonging to their brethren to go. Once they are in Israel, they must not complain lest they will be send away very soon . And they do will be send away,if they keep looking to pick a fight with Israel all the time. Israel is not supposed to stand with this absurdity among us infinitely.
4. Aklas Abu-Yasin's comment is indicative of Arab mentality
William ,   Israel   (04.03.11)
"We are on our land and not on Israeli land, and it is our right to live here with full rights." In other words, they don't recognize the State nor its jurisdiction. They still consider themselves "displaced Palestinians" who apparently are living in their own homes. ....and despite not recognizing Israel, demand the full rights of every other citizen who is loyal to the State and fulfills his/her obligation to the entire population. Rami, did I get it about right?
5. Guilianni cleaned up NY, is it impossible regarding Jaffa?

6. Is Israel a democratice Country!!!!!
sam ,   USA   (04.03.11)
While Israel consider it self a democratic country, it should traet all it residents the same, does Israel do this, or just conducting a ethnic clearance against the Indigenous people (Palestinians) that lives in Jaffa much before establishing the state of Israel, they deserve to get better services even more than any new Jews new immigrant that does not know any thing about this region
7. #6: you are an Indigenous -Idiot, sorry just couldn't help
tom ,   tel aviv   (04.03.11)
myself........Is that your guilt over the Apaches/Siux etc. that drives your logic?

1) "Indigenous" means "original inhabitants". For this to be true, Palestinians could not be Arabs, who arrived with the conquering Muslims in the 8th Century, but rather they'd have to be the Jews who lived there for at least 2 millenia prior to the arrival of the Muslims. 2) Unfortunately the article only hints at it rather than being explicit, but the problem here is Arab citizens of Israel believe that the establishment of rights beyond the rights of Israeli citizenship is a good thing for Israel. What Arabs want are EXCEPTIONAL rights, not the same rights as everyone else. The rights others have permit the government to exercise eminent domain, to enforce writs of eviction for people who settle on real estate that is proven in court not to be their own, and to accept that they must settle their demands in elections rather than through threats and violence. My suggestion to Israel's Arabs is that you take upon yourselves Palestinian citizenship, even as you inhabit Israeli cities on properties you own. It's more honest. You can vote in local elections rather than national elections, like all other foreign residents. The fact is you have a national narrative that cannot sync with the Jewish narrative, Israelis are exhausted of trying to figure out how to put that square peg in our round hole, and we can't stop you from believing what you want. But at the same time, we don't have to willingly surrender our narrative and our State. THIS surrender is what you demand, and we realize that. What I propose is the peaceful way of settling the matter. Why do you insist on the violent way?
9. Yeah...we're Racist! LOL!!!
EZ ,   US   (04.03.11)
PA: "now Jews will be allowed to live on one square inch of any future Pestinian State!"). But we're the racists!? None of this will bode well for the leftists and pals in the future. Clearly the Arab Spring is NOT their thing; their brethren have shown appalling and murderous behavior on ALL sides resulting in the civilized world looking very disturbed by it all. The Arabs could give a damn about the pals; the true face of the pals is finally being recognized in a more truthful light; Goldtone backtacked in Israel (the Jews) favor and the tide is turning against the worlds new hate group: Activists. Disgrace and shame will fall upon these people and Israel will come out on top.
