"We shot towards a suspected Palestinian – a completely routine procedure."
2. report?

Sorry, too late. The fact that Goldstone continued working w/Hammas without the collaboration of Israel, should have given, such an eminent lawyer, a plausible reason not to cooperate with the UN and their unreliable comissions and studies, etc., etc If he thought that Hamas was not going to take advantage of the situation he is either a very poor lawyer, a worse judge or entirely naive (to say something nice about him). He played into Hamas hands and he let himself be used by Hamas and the United Nations, an organization for which most of the world does not have an ounce of respect................
3. Regrets?
kiva ,   seattle USA   (04.03.11)
He is a judge! To late for regrets. Investigate, take under advisement, look at all facts, wait for all evidence, consider carefully before "writing an opinion". Will the "regrets" get near the media attention as the "errors". Hell no!. To little, to late. This judge needs to lose his job!
4. #1 What Are You Saying?

That urban warfare is some kind of sanitized procedure? That Hamas should have formed in easily-identifiable neat lines of fighters dressed in bright green?
5. What they don't want you to see

"Colonel Richard Kemp Challenges Goldstone Report." If you Google this and look around you' find his testimony in front of the UN at the Human Rights Counsel. His extensive experience fighting terrorism throughout the world was ignored. Why? Because he said the IDF showed more restraint than any army in history. That the IDF went to unprecedented lengths to avoid civilian casualties. Watch the video and weep, because it proves Israel is innocent of all charges.

Tyler Tyler! Esteemed Brother, you must finish the paragraph before posting your educated question or comment, right? In no less then the next sentence he says "He was a suspected terrorist". you offer a hamburger to a suspected terrorist, well at least not in Israel.
7. Goldstone change of heart?
Green Baron ,   Maryland, USA   (04.03.11)
I somehow doubt it. Judge Goldstone's initial report was unvarnished truth. If he had a "change of heart", or intended a recantation, I would like to know who coerced him, brought extreme pressure to bear on him, or outright threatened him? The PA also wants those questions answered, and rightly so.
8. Very green baron
Alex22 ,   USA   (04.04.11)
Nobody coerced him, and nobody pressured him except the additional information, which clearly proved that the soldiers of the IDF, did everything to avoid civilian casualties. It's hard to comprehend in Maryland ?

so you want to know who coerced him right? Well perhaps we should start with the source and what he says.... "The allegations of intentionality by Israel were based on the deaths of and injuries to civilians in situations where our fact-finding mission had no evidence on which to draw any other reasonable conclusion." So basically he made some assumptions without having sufficient evidence to the contrary. So I guess the real question is who coerced him to begin with..... "Hamas also claimed that Israel refused to cooperate with the fact finding mission and rejected the report's conclusions, while the Islamic group provided the investigation team with all necessary material. " Ok, so Hamas is the one who provided the materials necessary to condemn Israel, and Goldstone didn't factor in any information from Israel's side... nor did it factor the fact that Hamas wants nothing more than for Israel to be universally condemned, before issuing a universal condemnation premised on limited information supplied by the enemies of Israel. But of course it's people like #7 for whom false accusations fly against Israel everyday.... because people like #7 don't accept facts when they see them... but hold onto false accusations long after they have been proven false...
10. #1 i will explain

An Arab running at a military position is asked to stop, and if he does not stop the soldiers fire in the air and then at the ground near his feet. Innocent people stop. Terrorists continue running. This policy is legal, unlike Obama's policy of shooting up buses "just in case" as revealed by WIkileaks.
