Whoever attacked this car, their mission was to hit it, and get out, period. They weren't there to engage in air combat, or extended combat. They had a job to do, kill whoever was in the car, and then get the heck out of Dodge city, without getting shot down. That's what they did apparently, successfully.

What's amazing is the attention the killing of two will draw, while the hundreds of thousands (if not millions) killed in Southern Sudan and Darfur over the years are an "internal matter".

My guess would be that the passengers in the car were affiliated with Hezbollah. The Sudan is one of their more popular smuggling conduits.
