we do not know who they were...ah, mind readers they are. next we have proof it was israel..uh, show you the proof later...one killed was a sudanese..but we do not know who he is..no wonder this is a backward country.
4. WAIT AND SEE
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (04.06.11)
Who knows what happened? But this quote: "Sudanese military directed anti-aircraft fire at the aircraft and chased it out of Sudanese air space" They "chased" nothing out of their airspace. Whoever attacked this car, their mission was to hit it, and get out, period. They weren't there to engage in air combat, or extended combat. They had a job to do, kill whoever was in the car, and then get the heck out of Dodge city, without getting shot down. That's what they did apparently, successfully.
5. Karti is like Dubai "Sherlock Holmes" Tamim
Ussishkin ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (04.06.11)
One year later and still waiting for proof it was Israel that did it. Arabs have a very rich imagination.
6. well done I.A.F and kol hakavod
hadad ,   U.K   (04.06.11)
7. If it was Israel, I say "well done"
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (04.06.11)
Of course, the only "proof" they likely have is the belief that whatever befalls them, it's "the Jews". But if the fear of Israel leaves them restless, unable to sleep, so much the better. It could as well have been the US, which has a military presence in the Horn of Africa focused on counter-terrorism. One report I've seen claims the two killed were a Palestinian Arab and an Iranian. That suggests the two were involved in weapons trafficking between Iran and Gaza. If so, that would explain why they were targeted. What's amazing is the attention the killing of two will draw, while the hundreds of thousands (if not millions) killed in Southern Sudan and Darfur over the years are an "internal matter".

17. One hell of an accomplisthment
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.06.11)
It's alleged that an Israeli plane, flew in, and managed to kill two people that were traveling in a moving car The real question is who is the rat that sold the information and why did he do it, other than for money Or then again, who said it was a plane, it very well could have been a missile fired from a shoulder launcher, settling an internal squabble
18. #9. Scots Man..
Tim ,   Brighton   (04.06.11)
Does that include: That Peter Piper who picked a pair of pickled peppers?
19. It was a MOSAD albatross!!
Yehuda ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.06.11)
It was their anti aircraft guns that hit the car and now they want to blame it on Israel. What's next?!
20. Strike in the Sudan
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.06.11)
My guess would be that the passengers in the car were affiliated with Hezbollah. The Sudan is one of their more popular smuggling conduits. You have to admire Israel's long reach -- to know that two specific people were traveling to the Sudan (terrorists do not generally fly under their own names or using legitimate passports), and to know which plane the passengers were on, which car they would be riding in and effecting the air strike. The guardian of Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers. I suspect that guardian has a certain disdain for terrorist scum that live in underground bunkers, too. Kol ha'kavod, Israel, for a job very well done!
21. the pilot
Joseph ,   Asia   (04.06.11)
I'm pretty sure it was James Bond...hha
22. A couple of problems with the claim
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (04.06.11)
Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Both have hundreds of kilometers of borders that we would have to fly along, both are hostile to us, both would love to embarrass us, both have advanced American radar systems. Neither of them have said a single word.
23. No hiding place
Harvey ,   London   (04.06.11)
The bad guys need to get it into their thick Islamist skulls that the idf will seek them out and deal appropriately with them whether in gaza, Sudan wherever .
24. why shouldn't state take responsibility while terror groups
observer ,   Egypt   (04.06.11)
should? because decent sovereign states can't afford violating the sovereignty of others to only hit a SMALL car.
25. #24 observer...?
solomon ,   bklyn USA   (04.06.11)
....with two obviously very important people inside. But as usual, you ignore the inconvenient "details."
26. Ne evidence has come to light!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (04.06.11)
Israel killed General Gordon in Khartoum on 26 January 1885 and blamed the Mahdi for it. Israel was also responsible for the Black Plague, the Great Fire of London and, as Hitler's grandmother is supposed to have been Jewish, no doubt Israel is responsible for the Second World War and Holocaust! The allegations come from a regime whose President is wanted for heinous crimes against his people and for whom an International Warrant for his arrest has been issued but he travels around African states with impunity.!
27. to #20 Keeping Israel
John ,   Alaska   (04.06.11)
The guardian of Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers. I suspect that guardian has a certain disdain for terrorist scum that live in underground bunkers, too. Best phraseology - thank you for posting this!
28. #7 not well done as it should have been "were not was"
observer ,   Egypt   (04.06.11)
(( If it was Israel, I say)) because Israel remains mum about that. "Was" is anti-Israel.
29. #25 tip
observer ,   Egypt   (04.06.11)
the trick is not in the hit but in the violated sovereignty.
30. No. 24, you burn with envy, you'r incompetent to do the same
Ussishkin ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (04.06.11)
Arabs has never contribute one iota to human civilization, just the opposite. Any place you conquered you left in complete desolation. Just look at Egypt's highly advanced Ancient and Greek civilizations, economy and culture, nothing resembles any of it today, and Egypt is a pathetic country with miserable Muslims displacing native Copts toward extinction. Arab greed has no bounds and it seems that without fresh conquests you are doomed. This is why you dream of the Global Caliphate.
