31. #4 - based on what facts, Mike?
William ,   Israel   (04.07.11)
1) Israelis have never, nor would they ever, commit such an atrocity. 2) Even such actions by Israelis that pale in comparison, if they were directed at civilians on purpose, they were rounded rejected by the Israeli public. Kahane was a good example of that. The fact that you can claim Israel, where Kahane was outlawed, is more blood thirsty than the "Palestinians" who actually name town squares and soccer stadiums after such criminals, shows your utter ignorance and supreme bias. Maybe you're just trying to save your neck in Bahrain. Either way, it's obvious you've taken the "Arab" path on your opinion - the one that chooses racism and hatred over basic facts. Retard.
32. Fayyad: "PA institutions ready for Statehood"
William ,   Israel   (04.07.11)
but clearly, the people are not.
33. #7 - you're right. To hear Pallys oppose violence...
William ,   Israel   (04.07.11)
now THAT would be newsworthy, as it hardly ever happens. But then again, we're more interested in how people act opposite of basic humanity - that's the real news.
34. #8 - wow, those Israelis are sure committed to the lie
William ,   Israel   (04.07.11)
they even blew themselves up, in unison, in order to frame these poor "Palestinians", then they forced (at gun point, no doubt), "Palestinian" terrorists to take credit for the crime. Amazing. By the way, what proof do you have it was a Thai worker other than speculation in the PA rag called Ma'an?
35. I'm very Angry about this.
Ypip ,   Canada   (04.07.11)
36. Don't tempt me
Ypip ,   Canada   (04.07.11)
37. Quickly make peace
Ron ,   Melbourne, Australia   (04.07.11)
Quickly make peace with them - after all 'technically speaking' - we can clearly say that only a minority of Palestinian are blood thirsty violent individuals - so as long as the numbers are less then 50% (i.e. 49.999999999999999999%) the left can clearly and be 100% correct that the Palestinian Majority can be discussed with. .... I guess one can rationalize everything - can't they ???
38. to Salma 7
observer, Egypt ,   cairns-Australia   (04.07.11)
To dear Salma-I wish to express my deep and affectionate regards for your truthfull and honest posts and witty comments you are a truly remarkable and intelligent woman and I can not understand why everybody does not like you admirer for a long time and have utterly and hopelessly fallen in love with you.WILL YOU PLEASE MARRY ME.My heart aches for you.
39. 32% is nothing to boast about
lochem51 ,   Burlington USA   (04.07.11)
1 in 3... out of every 3 people, 1 actually supports the gruessome murder of Israeli babies! 1 in 3 is a huge number, 1 in 10 wouldve been shockingly huge, just goes to show that when 1 in every 3 palestinians support murder of innocent Israelis it is not quite time to remove the checkpoints
40. 32% support attacks or 32% of palestinians polled...
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.07.11)
...support the attacks? Either way thats why I don't want peace with them and don't feel like they are entitled to a sq. cm of land or one agorah.
41. #8 It wasn't a Thai worker !!
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.07.11)
That's a false claim that was made, in an attempt to divert attention that the attackers came from an arab village As far as anyone, indluding you knows, there aren't or weren't any Thai workers living in an Arab village If you have proof present it !!!
42. #27 You're a day late & a dollar short
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.07.11)
Arabs accepted responsiblity for the murders, if you want to call them liars you have my permission "Post navigation← A sampling of recently proposed state legislation, part 2Must read piece on “Communications Management Units” in US federal prisons →“Imad Mughniyya Group”: A thing that makes you go “hmmmm…” Posted on Sat, 12 Mar 2011 by Andrew Ma’an News Agency, 12 Mar. 2011: An armed faction calling itself the “Imad Mughniyya Group” has claimed responsibility for stabbing to death an Israeli family of five in the illegal settlement of Itamar in the northern West Bank. Israeli authorities have dismissed statements from the group in the past, as it has claimed responsibility for other operations that may have been the work of others. It is believed to be linked to Fatah. Ma’an News Agency, 12 Mar. 2008: The group said to be responsible for last week’s shooting attack in Jerusalem has threatened to conduct “a sudden, huge operation” against an Israeli target soon. Ahrar Al-Jalil, or the “Galilee Freedom Battalion” sent the announcement to Ma’an News Agency on Tuesday evening, along with a photo of Ala’ Abu Dheim, who carried out the shooting in a Jewish school in Jerusalem to Ma’an news agency" The above appeared in Ma'an, an Arab media, you friggin halfwit !!
43. That is the Jewish reality. They want to kill all Jews!
Dan ,   USA   (04.07.11)
44. The Palestinians like the Jews when the Jews treat
Frank ,   USA   (04.07.11)
and cure them from their sicknesses. They like Jews when they give them water, electricity, money and jobs. Yet. they want to exterminate the Jews. If you wonder why they are being savage-like toward the Jews take a look how they treat their own in Syria, Libya, Yemen, Bahrain and the rest of the Middle East.
45. not very impressive rejection of
Barney ,   USA   (04.07.11)
slitting the throat of an infant. speaks volumes of the imaginary pali nation and people. when your home is infested what do you do. you call the exterminator. those that are too stupid to run are exterminated and those that choose another option live on. isn't that the survival of the fittest? the 30 % percent that endorse this are the ones to blame for the suffering of the 60% that don't . not Israel. so 60% speak up, put up, or .....
46. Unbelievable
Rachel   (04.07.11)
This is just too depressing for words. Not that it's not like the Palestinians haven't supported terrorist attacks against civilians in the past, but still that even a minority could support stabbing an infant to death? There no different in their beliefs than the Nazis.
47. #4; Michael, and laughable remarks
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (04.07.11)
First, one third of the Arab population approved of baby killing. Second, what sections of the Jewish Israeli population are talking about? Even the settler's wouldn't be that cold. The 5%-7% of the Jewish population that is, what people would call, radical might feel feel that way, so if one third of that population is, then 2% total of the Jewish Israeli population has a similar view. That's a long way from 1 out of every 3, isn't it Michael? So save the silly excuses, why is it that there is always people like you? Those who pretend to be in a legitimate political debate, when they are just common Jew haters. What Michael, afraid to admit it? Why is that? I guess it's easier for you to pretend you have a point? You don't? Your just another excuse maker, how common.
48. Let us remember
Jerrold Cohen ,   Seal Beach, CA   (04.07.11)
And we will remember that 81 percent of Israelis supported the blistering air bombardment of Operation Cast Lead of the first week, and 65 percent supported Israeli ground troops attacking Gaza. Net result: over 1,400 unarmed Gazan civilians killed. Fifty were age 1 month to 5 years old. A bit more killing than the Itamar killing.
49. #48 Jerrold Cohen - Let us remember
BENJABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.07.11)
that it was Hamas that caused operation Cast Lead to take place It's not Israel's fault that Hamas used its civilian population for Human Shield purposes, and had the nerve to boast about doing so I'm rather surprised that in all your roaming of the websites, you never came across the video of Fahti Hammad bragging of how he used civilians to shield his men, it’s on You tube The 10,000 rockets that Hamas had fired into Israel was over a period of 3 years or so, Israel decided to pay it back in one fell swoop You should check your alleged statistics; they're a fraudulent as you are If you were as concerned as you pretend to be, your sorry ass would be here years ago, helping the Palestinian's As it is, you prefer to hide in Seal Beach, pretending that you’re participating I would like to see the sources for the statistical claims you are making, why weren't they included ?
50. #48 Jerrold has selective memory
Cynthia ,   USA   (04.07.11)
Hamas provoked the IDF attack on Gaza by firing an average of 85 kassams and bombs per day at Israel. Jerrold believes Israel has no right to defend her citizens and Hamas has a right to terrorize Israeli citizens. Yet if Seal Beach was under such attack, he would expect the US military to respond exactly as the IDF did. Jerrold forgets Hamas used civilians as human shields and intentionally placed civilians in harms way. Of the Gaza fatalities, the majority were armed Hamas fighters and the deaths of children could have been avoided if Hamas had not started this war. Itamar was a terrorist home invasion and another example of Palestinian terror that apologists of terror like Jerrold try to justify.
51. cant believe it!
palestinian ,   palestine   (04.07.11)
cant believe that a human being could agree or accept the murder of a child! it contradicts our nature. I think we should live together in peace, we were doing so in the 80s.
52. #38 You made me blush
Salma ,   Palestine   (04.07.11)
I will remember your words to be MORE proud of myself : ) Much love to you dear ♥ ♥ ♥
53. #48 - you agree with the 32% - shame on you
Mike, UK ,   Oxford UK   (04.07.11)
You can't even bring yourself to condem the murder of jewish babies. Instead you equate innocents killed during a war started by Hamas with deliberate murder of 3 year old and 3 month old.
54. What is the truth
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.07.11)
The organization that ran the poll is associated with the extreme Left so may have asked questions to skew the results. The only way to know whether 63% of Arabs really oppose the attack is to read what was really asked and who was really asked. I looked at the website of the polling organization and could not find these answers.
55. The scales
Avest ,   Israel   (04.07.11)
Most people want to understand life, what life is about outside of our regimented patterns this can be some kind of spirituality related to these 3 faiths. The laws of Karma are in all these faith theologically. The loss of life is always of impact no matter the right or wrong of it key word " loss of life" wasn't Mr Fogel in a tank squadran, did he take a life, lives during jis service to Israel. I hate war I hate conflict, there is nothing healthy about conflict, each day I seek to understand Karma, reciprocity and time the dimension of time, our days our months and years. We are every second held responsible for our deeds just a little hindsight. May the Fogel family find peace and understanding as they approach Hashem in this life.
56. #4; Michael, Stop the excuses
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (04.07.11)
Why is it, that almost 1 out of 3 approving of the attack doesn't offend you? Just late last year when Hamas killed 4 in a drive by shooting (one was woman a pregnant mother of 6) they held a parade the next day. So your reaction is to say that the Jewish Israeli (at least some segment of the population which you decline to name or elaborate on) may be "bloodthirsty"? Where does that nonsense come from? How typical of the anti-Israel writer to turn the tables and blame the victim, your a sad case indeed.
57. Salma exposed
Koos E. Mack ,   Israel   (04.07.11)
Folks, here it is,hot off the press! "Salma" is the code name of a Mossad conspiracy, showing the Arabs to be more stupid than they already are.Good work boys-keep it up.
58. #48 so-called "Jerrold Cohen"
Chatich   (04.07.11)
What's with the arabs posting with Jewish names? You are as big a fraud as "Michael Steiner".
59. #55 Karma
Chatich   (04.07.11)
OK, so Udi served in a tank in the IDF, let's say he even killed some terrorists. I say he's a tzadik for doing so but of course I'm not a blithering leftist moron. But please, for the love of G-d, explain to me what Ruth, Yoav, Elad and three-month-old Hadas had done to deserve being slaughtered in their sleep. I find your post to be remarkably ignorant, even offensive. If you wish to march into the ovens or throw yourself into the sea out of guilt for being a Jew go right ahead, but I will fight until my last drop of blood to defend my children, my country and my brothers from these baby-murdering barbarians.
60. Statistics and Polls
Michael Eisenborg ,   NYC, New York   (04.07.11)
The key word in this article is "assumed". They don't even know for sure that the act was perpetrated by Palestinians and frankly this isn't their modus operandi. Yet, despite not knowing, they poll Palestinians. "An earlier study conducted in March 2010 by Harry S. Truman Institute at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem – found out that 60% of the Israeli Jews who took part in the Poll – were against the new Jewish settlements. They’re in favour of dismantling most The study was conducted jointly by Professor Jacob Shamir from Israel’s Department of Communication and Journalism and Professor Khalil Shikaki from Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR)." Perhaps, it was someone in that 60% that was the perpetrator.
