avrom ,   bet shemesh   (04.10.11)
any terrorists
2. What "heavy price"?
David ,   Israel   (04.10.11)
"We exacted a heavy price from Hamas". The IDF either lives in a fantasy world or is just plain dumb. What heavy price? And what "truce" will we return to? The one where Hamas can only fire x number of rockets per day? The one where they continue building their arsenal? I have completely lost faith in our government and the IDF. What idiots.
3. # 2, there is talk around on 5/15 or sooner the arabs are
(04.10.11)
going to launch a full scale mission against us in order to ''liberate'' israel. so they are waiting for this date or sooner they want to coordinate it with the timing of independence day. this is what i heard
4. Netanyahu is a big failure. He allows
DT ,   Tuy Hoa Vietnam   (04.10.11)
Hamas to set the egenda and dictate. No country should allow 120 rockets to fall on it and be so ineffective in it's response. Eradication of Hamas and no more "half jobs" like another "Cast lead" is the only right solution
5. In other words:
Salma ,   Palestine   (04.10.11)
Hamas cannot control Gaza if it cannot guarantee tranquility on "Israel's" border!!!
6. "Heavy price"
Sagi   (04.10.11)
should mean one thing and one thing only. Every last building, compound or institution used or run by Hamas is razed to the ground never to rise again. Each and every Hamas operative at all levels is exterminated and sent to meet his maker. That is not only a heavy price, it will end the conflict once and for all. There is no other way.
7. # 5 Salma
Sagi   (04.10.11)
Wrong choice of words Salma. Should read. Hamas cannot EXIST in Gaza if it cannot etc.
8. Salma
Casey McCormick ,   Vancouver, Canada   (04.10.11)
Salma you have done better before. I think you are losing it. Yes death to Hamas and all those who imperil the state of Israel be it on the border or Tel Aviv. Hamas either shuts up or Pals. live in Jordan or wherever.
9. Israel must speak the truth.
Nathan Rai ,   Bangalore   (04.10.11)
Should 'nt Israel start announcing the truth to the world now ? That should ever an act of war be carried out by Irans proxy states Hezbollah or Syria or Gaza, Israel will strive for total victory through absolute or total destruction of the enemy in the shortest time possible. The only rule of war will be the only one that is sane and practical. To win as quickly and completely as possible. I feel its best that it be announced at every forum and opportunity available irrespective of whether the listeners find it acceptable or not. Lets be predictable at least for one thing.
10. to #5 Salma
John ,   Alaska   (04.10.11)
Exactly. Deal with it. People learn as young children that they either control themselves or others will do it for them. Israel is graciously allowing a terrorist organization to rule Gaza; if they cannot do so enough to prevent further attacks on Israel, then Israel will shoulder the responsibility that Hamas is either unable or unwilling to honor. Why is this a problem for you?
11. Barak capitulates as always,he's in a hurry to get to Bambi
ab   (04.10.11)
and agree to yet another Israeli surrender
12. why does not Israel provide them with maps of civilian-free
observer ,   Egypt   (04.10.11)
areas. Any non-adherence to these areas must be heavily punished,
13. Israel not focussing
Nathan Rai ,   Bangalore   (04.10.11)
No other country in the world is facing the situation that Israel is. Isaels size and the mindset of its neightbors is unique in that time to respond to any agression and the impact of not responding to an act of aggression is critical to its existence. Israel should get the world to focus on 1. Israel has allowed discussion on conquered territory as if it was not conquered 2. Hezbollah and Hamas have military targets in civilian locations, in homes, next to or in mosques, under the main Gaza hospital. 3. War is not a game of cricket that at the end of a battle all 'players' dont go home to a bottle of cold beer. The only rule of the next war will be to win in the most unambigous manner as quickly as possible ( with least Israeli casualties ). 4. There is not such thing as disproportionate force in war. There never was. The jihadis did not have daisy cutters, but that did not prevent the US from using them in Afghanistan or in Iraq. Iraq did not have stealth bombers but that did not prevent their use anywhere in the world. In fact, disproportion in force in what wins wars. There fore the next round, disproportion will be factor that will decide the winner. Let Israel announce this in a clear and unambigous manner so that everyone know what will happen the next time around. Sadly, it looks like its just around the corner.
14. ..but Hamas ain't got no balls
zorro ,   nyc   (04.10.11)
now they are crying to the UN
15. #5 Salma
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.10.11)
Hamas is in charge of Gaza, they had damn well better see that there's tranquility
16. #12 NON-OBSERVER
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.10.11)
Civilians are all over the place Their fighters prefer to hide in their midst, and stash their weapons in house Gazan's are complaining about it, they know they're being made target by the fighters
