Gaza has not been occupied since 2005 and what population transfers have occurred that you are speaking about?
34. pathetic
bob ,   canada   (04.10.11)
The timing of this crisis was so obvious: If Nato was stupid enough to act on orders from Arab League in Libia in order to eliminate rival, wildly independent dictator, why not to try it again, in Gaza? May be timed West will follow orders again? May be Arabs think that West has mentaly degraded enough to be on the same level with them? And about Turkey, blowing Pals school bus would be proportional responce in her eyes?
35. Arab League wants Haza no fly zone

The Arab League jet fighters will shot down like flies.NO MATCH WITH IAF. Arabs pilots no match to ISRAELI Pilots
38. the arab league are on a roll now after Libya
zionist forever   (04.10.11)
Suddenly people sit up and take notice when they start talking about military matters. Now they want to take advantage of that and turn on Israel. I wonder if this no fly zone will involve bombing terrorists firing rockets at school busses or will it only be about destroying Israeli military hardware. Lets just hope Obama doesn't dither on this one and tells his arab pals straight out no to a no fly zone and no to sanctions. Israel has a right to self defense even if it means Cast Lead 2 .. we cannot have terrorists shooting at school busses or into towns and cities anymore than we can accept bombs at bus stops.
39. Declare the Arab League illegal entity
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (04.10.11)
UN should declare Arab League as illegal entity for discrimination against the Jewish State. Under the international law, no country can deny the defense against its civilians. The Arab League appears as new nazis finishing the 3 reich job. UNSC must declare illegal and provide econimcal sanctions to all members of the Araba League. If they refuse NATO should invade those countries.
40. File a lawsuit agaist Ergogan
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (04.10.11)
41. This is so funny
Gary ,   Australia   (04.10.11)
Firstly - how do you impose a no fly zone over Gaza .. when missiles are flying from Gaza into Israel and Israel could launch airborne missiles from their own airspace in Israel !!. The Disp. force argument was used without merit when the Pals . had crudely made missiles, now they have conventional Grad, Mortors and Guided anti tank missiles. Mr Mussa and his band of delusional fools - clearly smoked too much shisha today
42. This was predictable...
Rafi ,   US   (04.10.11)
... the two biggest demagogues & political opportunists currently in the Mid East - Amr Mousa and Erdogan -singing together. NOT interested in any REAL solutions to the problems (including for the Palestinians)... but just out there to gin-up the anti-Israel base and feather their own political nests. Of course if more war & casualties result from their antics, they'll just walk away with their hands in pockets, whistling... No down-sde, no accountability.

"Illegal" only in your wild, strange and blind imagination.
44. moussa, erdogan and barak
marcel   (04.10.11)
remember davos where erdogan went on his rant against israeli killing on the beaches of gaza. He should know as his buddies killed over a million armenians and kurds. For some reason beyond religion, turkey has an attachment to gaza wiht much turkish arab intermarriage during ottoman control of palestine. On gaza, though, erdogan is a huge liar and he can go to hell with his interjections. Moussa may win the presidency but won'tbe so quick to enter war when he has the power but he will talk big. Ehud barak has to step down for his own good. he brags that 18 hamas dead is a massive blow. It is nothing for gaza. 180 killed would be a minor blow. Barak should be fired for suing fo rpeice almost as fast as neville chamberlain. Jesus!! Yoiu are afraid of war fine, you did your duty, resign. the arabs can read your fear.

John, I think he means the transfer of all Jews out of Gaza. Sarcasm off!!!
46. Nobody would dare to try and enforce no-fly zone.
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (04.10.11)
Including US and NATO. After all, this isn't Libya we're talking about.
47. Once again "the resistance" is crying in the UN
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (04.10.11)
48. Outbursts against Israel
RC ,   USA   (04.10.11)
What is it with these shameless belligerent Muslims? They stand by and quietly observe when the Palestinians lob missiles at Yahsrael and instigate and prod a response by Yahsrael, and then when Yahsrael acts in self defense they all climb the band wagon and criticize Yahsrael and even threaten to join the hostilities towards Yasrael. Furthermore they have the audacity to proclaim their religion is a peaceful religion when their actions are evidence that hate and destruction is their desire towards Yahsrael. It seems that soon a hook will be pulling Turkey to come against Yahsrael, their leadership seems to be waiting for an excuse and for cooperation from other Islamic states which the Arab League now seems to be pondering. Do they think YAHUWAH (ELAH) will not protect Yahsrael and Yahrushalayim which is a set apart place (Daniel 9:19) for EL SHADDAI? The Muslims have desecrated the land of the Holy Temple by putting a Mosque on it in which they pray towards Mecca. Soon YAHUWAH will show his wrath against the Muslim belligerence. The veil will soon be lifted and the Yahudim will soon call upon The Conerstone.
49. Hypocrites all
Paul ,   Israel   (04.10.11)
I want to see Erdogan's response if the Kurds were to fire 100 rockets into Turkey. I bet they would pass a UN resolution to force Israel to lie down and placidly die, if they thought they could pass it. Israel's solution? To build it's own rocket brigade: It would be more effective and accurate than their's, for sure!
50. @ 38 Zionist
Sheik Rattle & Roll ,   USA   (04.10.11)
Obama has nothing to do with this. The problem is with your weak government that is not pushing the issue at the security council. Where is the Israeli diplomatic push in response to the rocket attacks? How can you expect Obama to defend Israel when you don't even defend your selves? What kind of government allows it's territory to be bombed every day without full scale retaliation? Blame BIBI and Barak for being half-men for not defending there people with all there might. Enough with Obama bashing and put blame right where it belongs BIBI and Barak the weakest leaders Israel has ever seen.
51. #1 NON-OBSERVER FIRST TO WRITE
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.10.11)
TO DISPLAY HIS STUPIDITY They're talking about Airplanes, NOT Artillery If there's a "No Fly Zone", they damn well better not fire any rockets or mortar rounds out of Gaza, since they too happen to fly through the air Oh, how great it must feel, to talk so much and to know so very little, all the while having reading comprehension problems
52. NO PROBLEMO !!
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.10.11)
They don't have enough planes to enforce the NO FLY ZONE over Libya It's hardly likely they'll be able to scrounge up a few for flights over Gaza Heaven help the plane that overfly's Israel without permission, which they won't get It will be treated as enemy aircraft
53. #26 HAKIM
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.10.11)
Hold your breath while waiting for the idea to be implemented
54. LOL!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.10.11)
Who is going to enforce said "no fly zone?" Funny.
55. To: Israeli at No. 29
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.10.11)
Excellent point. Never mind the complete political disasters in Lebanon and Iraq, things are not going so well in Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, Dubai, Oman, Muscat and Yemen, either. In fact, those regimes are all teetering on the brink. But Gaza? Wow. United Nations, here we come! How many of those Arab League members do you suppose will be willing to contribute troops? I'll tell you. Not a single one. Their troops are way too busy keeping watch at home. It does puzzle me, though, why it is that not a single protest by the Arab League has been filed with the United Nations over the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians in Iraq. Hmm. Curiouser and curiouser.
56. @32 question. Also, did anyone notice...
dan ,   chicago usa   (04.10.11)
...that the Arab league took about 3 days to schedule their "emergency meeting," and then at that meeting they made a decision to make a request to an entirely different body? They love talking no doubt about it, but they don't seem to be in a hurry to actually do anything practical for the benefit of Hamas - at least not too fast. @32: Do you know which wikileaks doc specifically and would you mind quoting it here?
57. No Fly Zone
Harold ,   USA   (04.10.11)
Yes NO FLY ZONE must be applied over Gaza. Israel cannot use excessive and disproportionate force and F-16 US made planes on civilians who have been occupied for 44 years.
58. #30
Harold ,   USA   (04.10.11)
There will be no Israeli planes to fly before upplying the No-Fly-Zone over Gaza. Your comment proves that the United States has created a FRAKENSTEIN that is not obeying its master.
