I think that Israel has even admitted to carrying it out but I very much doubt it was done with Apaches given the range to get there and back. Probably a combat UAV armed with Hellfire missiles. Considering those examples, the chance for other countries to be involved in attacking Sudan's illegal weapons smuggling network is pretty large.
