ray ,   zürich   (04.13.11)
Sorry to see this happen but when some Swiss polictical parties in their election campaign Show a Black sheep stabbing white sheep ( do not have to explain what this means) on their racist election campaign what more can you expect from the courts!!!!
4. We want to be free, just like you
Muayyad ,   Palestine   (04.13.11)
So long as we are opppressed and occupied, the BDS voices will become louder. It id only bound to get worse, since you refuse to set your borders in accordance to international law.
5. Why get mad? Get even.
Tahl   (04.13.11)
If this hateful propaganda which de-legitimizes Israel's right to exist is considered "free speech" according to the Swiss court, then we can do the same. Post signs showing Farfur glorifying martyrdom to young Palestinian kids. Others would show 10-year old Palestinians being trained with an RPG and AK-47. Others would show candies being passed out after the Itamar massacre. The text underneath these pictures would say, "Imagine these were your neighbors". Enough said.
6. freedom of speech!!
Eli ,   Yerushalayim   (04.13.11)
Terror comes mostly from Muslims!!!
7. Ah, quit whining already, you little babies!
Michael Steiner ,   Bahrain   (04.13.11)
Instead of complaining like little pus... - kittens, fight fire with fire. Put up posters of our own. How's this: "There could have been a Palestinian state in 1947. We said Yes. They said No." or this: "Going out for a carton of milk? You might die from a rocket lobbed at you from 50 miles away. That's what the people of Israel face every day." If Israel has enough money to expand the wretched settlements and protect them, it can certainly afford a poster counter-campaign.
8. swiss
DAVID   (04.13.11)
The Swiss asked nazi Germany in the 1930's to stamp documents with the letter J for Jude. They wanted to make sure Jews would not slip into Switzerland, after the war the Swiss banks refused to return to survisors or their families money held in Swiss banks, they stated that there were no accounts at all, until discovered that they were trying to hide the fact by burning documents proving that thousands of accounts held by Jews simply "dissapeared, Accounts held by Nazis ( with money and gold stolen from Holocaust victims ) were not touched and the Nazis used this stolen money to reseetle in soem South American Countries .........and now they permit some groups to put up Anti -Israel = anti Jewish posters in the main train stations. NOTHING HAS CHANGED
9. Swiss Justice?
Tim ,   Brighton   (04.13.11)
Looking at the Courts decision and the arguments - it is full of holes and clearly seeks to take sides and rewrite history Quite blatant bias and a disservice to Swiss Justice
10. To number 4
juliano ,   italy   (04.13.11)
u better free Palestine of hamas instead to blame Israel for any movement in that shitty place...All of u will burn in hell soon if hamass will still control over your territories ...Sorry brother,i repeat, the only way u can free Palestine is to take Islamic jihad, hamass down...As long as that terrorists will control your territories, Israel will never let u free
11. @3
Ralph ,   Caesarea   (04.13.11)
True but the swiss left are antizionist and Israel bashers. They even support Hamas. This happened after the Jews claimed back the money stolen after Shoah. The swiss originaly were strong Israel's supporters.
12. absolutely justified
Sebastian ,   Germany   (04.13.11)
Herzl's proverb of 'A country without a people for a people without a country' is one of the biggest lies in history, and is the main reason for all the infringement of humanitarian law, committed by Israel, as stealing land and expropriating the Palestinians. Israel has no right to instruct European authorities to supress the truth.
13. Asking the 5th question
tiki ,   belgium   (04.13.11)
"What is the Difference between 1939 and 2011.........NOTHING! AGAIN we are 'leaning back and let it happen and AGAIN we don't know to 'ask the right questions and IF we don't, we will 'eat a lot of bitter herbs AGAIN! Remember the "signs? "Don't buy in Jewish Shops ! "Jews not allowed! "Jewish customs taken away! "Jews beaten/scolded in the streets!Jews are .........(just fill it in)! All "allowed" by the European States , Courts & Media! Then and now it all started with those 'seemingly little things. We are before Pesach and should ask ourselves this 5th question. Why is it so hard for the Jews & the State of Israel, the Independed Jewish State, to lose it's Getto mentality.
14. where's problem
ale ,   italy   (04.13.11)
the sign "'Israel was established with violence on Palestinian land' ", it's simply the true, where is the problem???? for you it's normal, for all world it's a crime. where is problem , you build settlements every days....you have NO problem.
15. #13 If you hate it so much..why not make aliyah?!
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (04.13.11)
Perhaps this way you can enjoy the presence of your brothers and sisters...LOL
16. palis not awar that free
ghostq   (04.13.11)
means pali chaos. they got no independent economy, and their institution is satelite of either Iran or Saudi arabia, to have independence means much more than Israel presence, they already make so many insurance scames and fals law suit cause they know their representives will never give them a dime, sadly, that is the way it's going to be, since it will become redicilous situation when two parties is killing each other and bank account that got resources from else where. Soudies in one point will want to see some results to their so call investment, and when they will descover their money is going nowhere, they will close the Tap.
17. War of ads
Miranda ,   Denver   (04.13.11)
In the US we watch many paid TV commercials depicting Arabs and Moslems as violent and terrorist; that Israel is an oasis of democracy surrounded by violent arab states. Why would the Swiss model be different. I don't see Arabs occupying Israeli land. Why does Israel occupy Palestinian land and expect Palestinians to accept this occupation. You really need some soul searching before protesting the Swiss ads.
18. to #14 Israel had twice before state in the area
ghostq   (04.13.11)
it wasn't established in 1948 as all mistaken it was RE-established, meaning it was continued to be. the first Israeli state was 3500 years ago in the area.
19. Swiss Show True Colors
Tamhighpoint ,   Prince George, USA   (04.13.11)
I got shivers of fear when I saw the headlines proclaiming that Swiss 'Justice' was setting a precedent for more anti-Jewish proclamations! Historically, the Swiss have never been 'neutral', always siding with whoever they are afraid of most; i.e., the Nazi's. When the Jews will lean on the wisdom God, they will be blessed again, and their enemies will be shattered.
20. Simple response
Danny   (04.13.11)
Israel should have a sign right next to it showing the butchered Fogel family with the caption "Anti-Israeli are only pro one thing". Free speech and all that
21. Why not do the same?
Geoff ,   London (UK)   (04.13.11)
Supporters of Israel should take advantage of Swiss freedom of speech and hang up posters in the station advertising the truth
22. Swiss
Dan Johanson ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (04.13.11)
It is good that countries like Switzerland goes out and shows it belly. The natzi tattoo mark is still in heir bottoms. For me and my family Switzerland, we don't have to visit Switzerland. They are narrow minded and are lost when it comes to history. Swiss! Fuja.
23. #18 & #19
Dan ohansson ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (04.13.11)
#18 You are most correct. It is RE-established. Ben-Gurion said that in his speach maj 1948. #19 Switzerland and Sweden should be neutral but are neutral from near but far from neutral. They are swimming in the same duck pool and singing the same duck song. Kuack Kuack!
24. #4 Muayyad, usual propaganda.
DR ,   Wales   (04.13.11)
Palestine still does not exist as a sovereign state or a political/geographical entity of any description, so where you are writing from is anyone's guess. There would be a state of Palestine if the Arab world and it's Palestinian entity had not sworn to finish what Hitler started in 1948 and sought the genocide of the re-established state of Israel instead of accepting statehood, partition and peace. There wouldn't have been a single Arab refugee, not one, if the Arab world hadn't been bent upon destroying the Jewish presence just like it is now, with any future state of Palestine predicated upon the ethnic cleansing of all Jews. Gaza and Judea/Samaria was occupied by Egypt and Jordan respectively for 19 years from 1948 to 67. Not a single call for a Palestinian state was made in relation to these territories when the Arabs held them. Instead they were used as a platform to invade Israel. Indeed the PLO was itself created in 1964 when the Arabs held the land. The only land to be 'liberated' by the PLO was Israel itself. Nothing has changed. The charters of Hamas, Fatah and the PLO's phased plan are still intact and all call for Israel's destruction. Borders under international law are those specified in the Mandate and San Remo. These were those assigned to the Biblical 12 tribes. Check out Professor Howard Grief's 25 year study on international law and Israel's boundaries instead of regurgitating the usual propaganda. Oppression and occupation are the well worn accusations of fundamental Islam which doesn't recognise the right of Israel to exist on what it sees as Islamic land. Therefore any measures adopted by Israel to defend itself are termed 'oppression'. As far as Islam is concerned Israel is illegitimate and therefore has no rights.
25. no 4
alexa ,   Israel   (04.13.11)
If we are tlking international law then by international law laid in the San remo conference the WB is ours by right . When you say occupy do you mean Israel before the 67 ear because It seems this was the intention of the demonstartor so you mean that we have to get out of israel?
26. Muayyad
Ethan Schwartz ,   Eilat   (04.13.11)
Put down your rockets, your rocks, knives and your bombs. Come eat at my table, work alongside me and sit with me in the park as our children and grandchildren play. Allow us to invest our great wealth into education for all to build this great land of ours', yours' and mine.
27. Great!
Vicenzo ,   Baku   (04.13.11)
Pro Israel organization should make the same posters, but shows how HAMAS attacked school bus. Or how Hamas kills palestinians on wedding.
28. (17) Miranda
tiki ,   belgium   (04.13.11)
You should pay more attention to these commercials, for they are accurate...you are not. You don't see "Arabs occupying Israeli land", well, they do. Jordan is just one example. Read the bible, look at archeological finds and you'll see that there 'never was a Palestine or Jordan....but there 'always was the land of Israel, the Valley of Judea (where do you think this name came from) and Jerusalem was always its Jewish capital.
29. Whiney Bettini
Think Peace ,   Maine, USA   (04.13.11)
Mr. Bettini's conclusion that "The posters appeared to argue against Israel's right to exist" is so typical of those who try to inflame others by drawing inaccurate conclusions. The Swiss Court deligitmizes nothing by concluding that freedom of speech is necessary, and the posters do not support the position that any country has no right to exist. For the author to pull out that old song and apply it again here, just points out the lack of Israel's justification for appropriating the land and assets of others for its own use. When you have no reasonable arguments to present, you simply slap the anti-semite and delegitimization labels on whomever disagrees with your land-grab tactics. If you want others to support Israel, how about cleaning up your tactics to conform to international norms of behavior?
30. Obvious answer!
Maurice ,   Montreal   (04.13.11)
Israelis/Jews should put up their own signs in the central station. As simple as that. We will see then how fast these antisemite judges will reverse their ruling!
