91. Another fool activist
Anshel ,   Toronto, Canada   (04.15.11)
will UN Security Council declare in Gaza a No Kill zone?
92. to Adam (85)
tiki ,   belgium   (04.15.11)
I just saw BBC Breakfast show, where they did talk about it, and mentioning that the " pro Pal activist was murdered by a 'fanatical fraction group from al Qaeda and that 'Palestinian security police found him. Listening to the BBC, Hamas overnight changed into a 'pussicat blaming 'fanatics for the murder.
93.  "This is a heinous murder which does not represent our reli
Eli ,   Yerushalayim   (04.15.11)
What else?
94. This is the tip of the iceberg
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (04.15.11)
There have been many many stories coming out of Gaza in the last few weeks about the brazen actions of I Jihad and other fanatics - in direct confrontation with Hamas And instigated by mainly Ahmadinejad and Hezbollah they get more brazen by the day. The aim is to oust Hamas to create a colony of Iran Besides Hamas Gazans are extremely concerned about developments and where this could lead. Soon we will see an all out Hamas battle against these groups before Gaza sees a repeat of Hezbollah in Lebanon And as far as Hezbollah in Lebanon is concerned with each passing day the Lebanese Army gets stronger and much more able to confront and destroy Hezbollah...The whole world and his aunty know where virtually every Hezbollah missile bunker is in Lebanon where their C and C is located where 'foreign forces and advisors' are deployed. Hezbollah you arrogant traitors ....YOUR time will come
95. BBC and Fox news
mat ,   usa   (04.15.11)
this is the second story on the BBC website. It is also in the headlines on the Fox news website. But if you look at the top ten ''most read'' stories on Fox news you'll see that Americans are more interested in celebrity gossip stories than this story. Its not even in the top ten ''most read'' stories. People overseas think this sort of stuff happens every day in the middle east so they don't pay much attention anymore. Its just not very interesting. America has gruesome murders of its own every single day -- should each one be a headline?
96. @95 yes they should because...
(04.15.11)
to kill a human being is to destroy the world! But then it is so much better to be locked and blocked by celebraty gossip! Dah!Merika!
97. Immoral killing but odd headline
Adam ,   Israel   (04.15.11)
It's a huge stretch to call ISM activists peace activists. Regardless, I hope the animals that killed this guy are punished harshly.
98. He died for the course
Moshe ,   Netanya   (04.15.11)
I still don't understand why we saved lives like Dahlan and Abbu Mazen? Don't tell me that they look more Western. What a stupid IDF.
99. You are no different from the arabs
Steve ,   NY   (04.15.11)
Never before have I seen so many people revel in the murder of another human being. If you were all living in the same town you would be handing out sweets.
100. They're "brothers". (rolls eyes)
Ypip ,   Canada   (04.15.11)
101. Tony Blair's Sister
missy   (04.15.11)
is that idiot still living in Gaza or has she also been "knocked off"? These people like Tony's sister - or is it sister-in-law? are nothing more than a bunch of empty heads. Could it be that they are looking for a quick death that mummy & daddy could tell the world their child died for a good" cause. Ach, meine Gute!!!
102. Lets write a play about his death
Emma ,   London   (04.15.11)
Rachel Corrie was lionised throughout the world because she was accidentally killed by an Israeli bulldozer. There was a play written about her and directed by the well-known British actor Alan Rickman. I look forward to a similar play about Arrigoni but I suspect that a person is only martyred if an Israeli is involved in their death. Hopefully, this barbaric behaviour will wake up these well meaning "hate activitists" to the true nature of the people they love so much. Where is Salma defending this action? I suppose that somehow she will manage to blame Israel saying that the conditions the poor Gazans are living under make turn them into violent criminals.
103. When will these dupes wake up and smell the Humus?
Brian Cohen Judean P ,   Judean Peoples Front   (04.15.11)
The ISM is not a "peace" group. Gaza is indeed run by terrorist Islamic fascists. People who go to "help" Gaza are not going to bring peace, and are not helping the quest for peace at all - they are damaging any hope for peace. Their efforts should be directed directly at forcing Hamas to obey human rights laws, to force Hamas to allow freedom of speech-religion-press-assembly, and to build Gaza from within. They are not peace activists, and this poor man paid with his life for doing the wrong thing.
104. 102 - Emma
Faith ,   Israel   (04.15.11)
Right on Emma - you said it perfectly.
105. The killer should be put to death. End
Palestinian   (04.15.11)
106. to #88, Ignore it
Moshe ,   Netanya   (04.15.11)
I tmentioned in haaretz as the 8th story (with the weather). Since that paper knows what is going on and who kills who, I suspect the dude was killed by Fatah ( Abbass' brunch in Gaza).
107. Best comment
Tor ,   Paris   (04.15.11)
That was the best comment anyone posted related to this topic! i feel sick of just reading all the happy comment about his death.
108. to Steve #99
Arn ,   Yehud, Israel   (04.15.11)
Hey ... it feels good playing the superior human being, doesn't it. Your supercilious wimpish arrogance blinds you to the marvelous irony here. Of course we revel in what overtook this misguided Jew hater. His willingness to give his life to the Hamas/Palestinian cause came to just that. Didn't it? Someone should have told him you gotta be careful what you wish for. I think now I'll have that candy and you can finish your chocolate milk.
109. A pacifist!!
Rod ,   Fargo N.Dakota   (04.15.11)
Working for ISM
110. #24
Ian ,   Israel   (04.15.11)
Karma sometimes is a strange thing. He never deserved to die for his beliefs and his blood is the same color as yours. You have no tears for his spilled blood but you expect the world to cry when more people lie dead in the streets from terror attacks. You don't seem to see that this perpetual cycle of violence only sends more people to the grave yards. There are too many cynical cold hearted people that for them more death and destruction means nothing. And when more blood is spilled, ask yourself if it is a means to an end especially when the blood spilled is in our cities and streets. When we change the way we think then maybe others will change the way they think about us.
111. What's the difference
Linichka ,   Gdynia, Poland   (04.15.11)
which ratty band of savages takes credit for the murder? They're all under the general terror umbrella, all lawless, brutal, primitive as cavemen. Those who attempt to "help" them - whether naive foreigners donating their time or the Israeli government providing them with electricity - only outrage them by reminding them that the rest of the world doesn't live in the Dark Ages. Time to turn the lights out in Gaza and let the vermin have at each other.
112. Why not..logic
hard ,   so so   (04.15.11)
I accept your opinion(106 Moshe) cause you know they just fightting each other to control the state if there is any state so they have to but every part of their state in mess, they try embarrass each other to emphasis that i'm the best ,,you know hamas can't agree with miltant islamic so they try to change the game in Gaza...So it's game from Mossad and IDF to stop the peace activities to gaza by logical thinking good luck for who think to do this. There is something stinking here???
113. SAD AND FOOLISH
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (04.15.11)
When will leftists ever get it, these are an evil people. The leftist lives in a fantasy land (this was not the glory of fighting WW2) where all is perfect. But here is what Hamas had to say like many of the Arabs HERE: "harms the Palestinian people's goals." Have you ever noticed after they pay lip service to, saying they are sorry, then the truth comes out. Their real concern is if it benefits or hurts the Arabs, period! These are a selfish people who constantly brag how the Jewish people an their respect for life is such a weakness. The glory of death is what they are all about. About killing themselves and killing others, remember this is what they do to their friends. Imagine what they do to an enemy!!
114. The newest Pallywood:
Keren ,   IL-BR   (04.15.11)
"Hamas police arrest two suspects" "This is a heinous murder which does not represent our religion, values and costume" Oh,yeah...
115. To Arm in Israel
Steve ,   NY   (04.15.11)
I am not a superior human being as you put it but as I don't revel with glee, laugh and joke about the cold blooded murder of another human unlike you and most of the posters here as well as the arabs who also take joy in the murder of Israelis, enjoy your candy but remember that you are no better than the arabs who enjoyed their sweets when they heard that a Jewish family were murdered recently.
116. Despicable killers!
Salma ,   Palestine   (04.15.11)
I feel very much ashamed, indignant, and angry. my deepest concludes to Victor's family.
117. Why do you call him a "peace activist" in your headline?
Reuven ,   Ramat Aviv, Israel   (04.15.11)
He was a useful idiot, not a "peace activist."
118. The Left preys on naivete
Ari   (04.15.11)
And they have no shortage of recruits as a result.
119. What is wrong with you people?!?!?!
Michelle ,   Canada   (04.15.11)
Daniel Pearl was also kidnapped and executed by Muslims but I don't recall Jews taking so much joy in his death as you do in the death of this Italian. Just because he was helping the Palestinian people and was a member of the ISM doesn't give you the right to celebrate his murder. Shame on you all, I thought Jews were better than this!
120. #116 And what about Samir Kuntar? Despicable child murder?
Michael ,   Toronto, Canada   (04.15.11)
