The reason Israel must go to war so often is because we fail to use our victory to make permanent gains. We capture territory. Instead of keeping it, we cede it for worthless pieces of paper. Hundreds of Egyptians rally for a third intifada? So much for the Arab spring.

The basic premise of an Intifada is a popular uprising of the people from within. Here we have Egyptian citizens calling on others to rise up. Not exactly an intifada then, is it. It is also easy to send more "poor" Palestinians into potentially dangerous and deadly situations while they sit at home and watch it all on TV. But I suppose that is to be expected - the Palis have always been used as a pawn by other Arab countries. Looks like the Palis themselves are a bit sick of throwing their lives away, though, for another round of violence that will leave them with less than what they have now.

and so perhaps the usual call to kill the Jews has lost its shine? Perhaps the Fascist Islamists will have to find a new message? The appeal to blind hate may have finally given way to the more enlightened who aren't interested in "war against the infidel" but in jobs, careers, dignity and not desire to die.
