2. Yeah Baby! No holds barred document--
EZ ,   US   (04.15.11)
RIPS UN on it's "Redress the damage to Israels reputation" and "reform" the HRC "so that it no longer unfairly, disproportionately and falsely criticizes Israel on a regular basis"! LOL! Since the US is the only real player on the world stage...well, that says it all. The senate voted UNANOMOUSLY for the contents of this letter...yes, the LAW MAKERS of the worlds greatest democratic Republic. As far as the conspiracy vipers go; uh--NO, this was NOT an AIPAC lobby thing or any other Jewish or Israeli lobby: it was perpetuated SOLELY by the US Senate... So piss off. Goldstone realized he was dead wrong and tried to backtrack. As far as the other LOSERS on the goldstone Ctee: a Muslim (Paki), Irish (oh so Pro Palestinian) and Englis/ Australian (total anti-Semites and creator of trans Jordan mess)...how the hell did anyone In their right mind think anything coming from these thugs and supporters of terror would actually be fair!? FAIL. Those other three are set to be brought up on a slew if charges for bias and prejudice as well as false accusations while the US Senate told Ban to FIX the damage dine to Israels reputation...not just 'rescind' the report but FIX the DAMAGE!!! So long to the whacko left and goldstone!!!
3. PS ,...
split ,   US   (04.15.11)
Unlike in Israel a complete blackout in "US" media - Why ? Maybe this unconditional support by so called "our" lawmakers is not as popular as you think it is ,...
4. 1. Unanimously !!! ,...
split ,   US   (04.15.11)
If it comes to vote in favor of Israeli interest those pathetic puppets are more obedient to AIPAC's directives than Soviet Duma Deputies to the Central Committee ,...
5. Wes Sesniak, aka "split" is especially
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (04.15.11)
active today in his denunciations of Israel and of his own government, the USA. Maybe he's having a "bad hair" day. He even sent me a private message (of hate), something he does consistently. I don't bother opening his trivialities, however, but I have alerted Ynet to his activities. I think he just has too much time on his hands, no friends, no other activities, no other hobbies except Israel-baiting. Poor, poor, Wes!
6. #3 Why a complete blackout in "US" media?
Harry Wright ,   UK   (04.15.11)
Because the US media is dominated by the left wing who want to hide the facts. They don't want it widely known that Israel has been exonerated by Goldstone's retraction. Not as popular? The vote was unanimous. ALL, 100% of the senators voted for the revocation of the report. So don't try that nonsense.
7. like all the others

This Aipac worded document will be confined to the trash can.

Ypip ,   Canada   (04.15.11)
The Senate also urged UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and member states to carry out reforms in the Human Rights Council to prevent it from unjustifiably taking a harsh stance against Israel and leveling unfair criticism.
11. 6 - I wish that was the case ,...
split ,   US   (04.15.11)
Fox News, Washington Times or dozens of most popular talk shows with their web-sites are hardly left wing - They're silent too ,...
12. UN is useless
Brandon ,   Cape Town   (04.15.11)
I think the whole Idea of the UN need to be rethought. There are too many countries on the UN council that are human rights violaters and rape and pillage their own country. The world should look at South Africa and How Julius Malema is forcing south africa towards another failed african country. But the UN turn a blind eye.
13. Spilt since you love Gazans so profoundly, why not go there?

oscar ,   us   (04.15.11)
There is actually more coverage of the groping Rabbi than the rubber stamping of an Aipac document... Interestingly the document is on the Aipac website all neatly typed up for its minions to sign
15. Mida Keneged Mida / Measure for Measure
Dov   (04.15.11)
Goldstone judges secular Israel like Secular Israel corrupt judges judge haredi Jews with false accusations. As simple as that. Measure for Measure. There's a G-d in the world after all.

18. To Get 100% approval of anything...
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (04.15.11)
Is extremely rare, and speaks for itself, naturally the idea the AIPAC was the influence is nonsense. But the anti-Israel writers have no where else to go, so they make a bizarre conspiracy out of it. But really we have now one retraction from Goldstone, one member who was overtly bias, Chrstine Chinkin, who made statements clearly stating, Israel was guilty, Before the hearings even started. We have several point by point rebuttals of the report that frankly shed the findings. We have Col Richard Kemps statements at the UN in front of the HRC, expressing his opposing view of the HRC findings. Yet with overwhelming evidence that rebute this bias report, still those anti-Israel people want to keep it. The fact is this, had this report completely indicted Hamas, and the same retractions had come, that have come here recently, and immediately after the report (to clear Hamas). The anti-Israel writer's would be arguing to withdraw the report. Based on this exact same evidence, proof of their cherry picking when it comes to facts. Just like this report was nothing but cherry picked information, whose intention from the beginning, was to indict Israel.
19. 8 - is it news to you? it is known congress
Dave   (04.15.11)
listen to bibi more then they listen to Obama, take Cantor and the lady from FL, they publicly announced they supoort Israel first US second.
20. #6
Josh ,   Atlanta, USA   (04.15.11)
Good news - nothing sinister here. The reason is in the US no one cares what the UN says. No one took the Goldstone report seriously so it is not interesting to most Americans that now even Goldstone disagrees with the Goldstone report
21. The US supports its friends and allies
Mike ,   Atlanta USA   (04.15.11)
No surprise here. And it is in the American interest to do so. After all, the natural gas found off the coast of Israel has the potential to enable the US to finally reduce the significance of its ties to murderous, misogynistic, and anti-Western Arab regimes.
22. #1 and #8 Alex...really?
DR ,   Florida, USA   (04.15.11)
So the Jews control the senate now? Wow, so we have Hollywood, Congress, the senate, and the banks? How are Jews not enslaving you and your family at this very moment? You are clowns!
23. No. 19

Let's see the proof.
24. Goldstone Still Not Apologizing
DavidM ,   CT USA   (04.15.11)
Although he has admitted that his report was a lie Richard Goldstone has still not apologized for the damage that he caused Israel, the Jewish people, a gentile friends of Israel. While he traveled the globe promoting this deceitful report it was used to justify economic warfare against Israel and its friends. Mr. Goldstone still owes a big apology.
25. All This Is Very Nice For Israel To Have A
Brazen   (04.15.11)
FALSE account of WAR between a lying, cheating, NO moral terrorist fractured group like hamas and Israel. Now How about hamas and Cast Lead??? No report by their side? at least I have not heard about it? The fact that hamas USES Civilian buildings, Schools, mosques and the like to fire rockets and mortars into the CIVILIAN populas in southern Israel. What is the un and the goldstone PHONEY'S going to do ABOUT All this??? Close Your Eyes And Tell Me What You See?? BUPKAS, ZILCH NOTHING. The u.n. and the Rest Of the world can Suck Wind.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.15.11)
You are the one making a fool of yourself (good to see that you stick with that which you do best). This vote is a seminal moment with respect to the United Nations -- which has been the junkyard dog of the ersatz "Palestinians" for far too long. A unanimous vote by the United States Senate -- oh, you better believe the United Nations will sit up and take notice. All those "diplomats" living in pricy East Side apartments when back home, they're lucky to have wall-to-wall dirt floors. What do you suppose means more to them -- maintaining their present lifestyle or pushing phony claims and issues on behalf of the ersatz "Palestinian" people?
27. # 4 and # 8
Jason, Ph.D. ,   Charlotte, USA   (04.15.11)
Your knee-jerk reaction that the unanimous Senate decision was the direct result of AIPAC controlling the Senate is a sterling example of pure and complete Anti-Semitism at its very worst manifestation. I am an activist pro-Israel American Jew, and I never received a message from AIPAC asking me to lobby my Senator. Either provide proof of your assertions, or else everyone will know that you are pathetic Anti-Semitic liers. We are waiting for your proof.
28. #5: Wes Sesniak: thanks for the tip: reported to Homeland sc
EZ ,   US   (04.15.11)
This guy is a total hater of his own nation and a real lose cannon. Eyes are on him now. We just dont want to see him hurt anyone and it's obvious he's got a ton of hatred going back a long way and seems to have it 'in' for our government. So we'll let the FBI and Homeland security keep an eye on him: at least theyve been notified: he's pretty out of touch with reality. Thanks for the tip: U see, in the US, freedom of speech is well revered and protected but we're also responsible for reporting those who spew too much hatred: this guy "split" is scary. We'llet the government deal with him.
29. To: No. 8
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.15.11)
Actually, the NRA and the AARP are far more influential lobbies than AIPAC. That's why no effective legislation with respect to gun control can be passed; that's why there is no means testing for Social Security or Medicaid. The insurance companies, the American Medical Association, big oil and automobile manufacturers also have very powerful lobbies. Why single out AIPAC -- which in all likelihood had very little to do with the Senate vote? The purpose was to put the United Nations on notice that the United States is very well aware of the ridiculous and corrupt organization that the United Nations has become. No harm, no foul to any American; you can sleep well at night.
30. #8 and #19, dumb and dumber
Chatich   (04.15.11)
What does anything in this article have to do with Congress? This was a vote of the US Senate - it even says so in the headline, ffs. As Americans, shouldn't you know the difference between the Senate and the House of Representatives? I do, and I am not even a yank! No wonder a fraud like 0bama can get elected in America.
