Now that u have, what r u going to do about it?
3. I'M LOVING LIFE
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (04.16.11)
Israel's move was brilliant, along with the USA. There is more than one way to skin a cat. Can you think of a sweeter or better non-violent way to screw up the Iranian nuke program? Leave it to Israel to figure a way to outsmart the Iranians, now they are just ticked off. As a spy mission it was successful. It's what you always want to do to your enemies, mess up there programs any way possible. The USA and Israel should be regarded as hero's if the story is true. Now that's what I call "heroic acts of resistance". Without taking even one human life, I'm loving it. Hey Iran, How does it taste? You peddle death, Israel peddles brilliance. I'm looking forward to more of the same. Good going!!
4. and iran is behind the rocket attacks from gaza

Frank-el ,   Seattle USA   (04.16.11)
As an American, I would be angry and embarrased if the USA was involved in this act of cyber-warfare. All it does is open another Pandoras Box in the service of Israel. Are you so naive to think this software will stop at Iranian borders? Are your lithium levels so low that you don't see a threat to uncontrolled or poorly controlled nuclear systems (can you say Fukushima?). Just as Israel began the nuclear arms race in the ME, it has now dangerously escalated another area inviting retaliation and escalation. The US will pay for this tactical blunder in the service of Israel. This penny wide and pound foolish attack, while pleasing the short-sighted and easily impressed, does nothing to further peace and nuclear non-proliferation. So when the Iranian software engineers turn the mirror back at us, will you run to Dimona or Savannah River and pinch the fibre optic cable to stop their "reply"?
7. Worm ?
Richiem ,   USA & JAMAICA   (04.16.11)
Surprise surprise! The Iranians will soon blame Israel for ..well, Iran itself! These idiots who are in charge of this wretchedly backwardly governed country, deserve to shot all the way back into the third century where they belong!
8. The good worm, thanks to the US, has helped Iran...
Persian CAT   (04.16.11)
to acquire the skills and knowledge to fight future cyber wars. Not all coutnries have practical experience with this stuff. We all know Israel without the US help would be compoletely hepless to pull of high stake operations like this. Aside from the fact that Stuxnet damaged a very limited number of equipment, which Iran replaced with newer and more efficient ones, all security experts are now warning that the Stuxnet and its derivitives are out in the US, and I'm sure Israel, threatening many computer systems. What goes around, comes around. Iran is better off for Stuxnet. Thank you US.
9. stuxnet

i think it is more serious than they tell us i think it as done a lot of damage to there system , good keep the good work up

Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (04.16.11)
So a entity that pledge to destroy Israel, wipe it out of the map and holocaust denier is buidling nuclear power. In the other hand the entity is inciting all the ME and South America for war. Nobody can stop with diplomacy, and the swear to build nukes. I am an American I am proud that what they say we did. Do you want another 9/11 from that entity? I do not want
11. Disinformation
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (04.16.11)
Iran is faking disablement,to get the USA off it's back, most likely the Iranians corrected the computer problem,as usual, the USA will swallow the lie,and Iran will continue with the bomb.
12. I hope to God he's right.
noa ,   israel   (04.16.11)
Good for us!
13. So now they admit there was a worm?
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (04.16.11)
The Egyptians blame us for puting Mossad Sharks in the Red Sea. Now we wormed our way into Iran's Nuke industry. What's next? Maybe Israel will be blamed for the Verbal Diarrhea virus that AhminiNutJob (thanks Jay Leno) and his worm infested entourage seem to suffer from! Actually, Israel is proving to be the proverbial fly in the ointment in Ahmadinejad's megalomaniacal dreams!
14. Sounds like Stuxnet
Rachel ,   US   (04.16.11)
did a lot more damage than the Iranians are letting on.
15. #8 Persian CAT
Alan Mac ,   London England   (04.16.11)
For your information, Israel have always been the worlds leaders in software writing and would require no help from any country. As for Iran being better off... hahaha! just another lying Arab who is hurting because he has just realised his country will never be allowed to build nuclear weapons. Imagine the damage when they start detonating while still on the ground. Makes me smile anyway!
16. Be grateful, #6
Cameron ,   USA   (04.16.11)
Be ever so glad we were not yet pressed to take actions beyond cyber attacks. I for one do not want to see US fighters & bombers racing to strike Persian installations, and what lengths we might be forced to go beyond that to neutralize Persia.
17. STUXNET... now that its in the public

domain, is a gift that will keep on giving.
18. "Iran blames Israel" - Oy-yoy, gevalt!

19. #8 Stuxnet exposed Iran's weakness
Cynthia ,   USA   (04.16.11)
Since Stuxnet, Ahmadinejad has been barking about how Iran must improve their technological capabilities. But technology conflicts with the regime's isolationist 7th century mentality. It's ironic how a country full of engineers has fallen so far behind.
20. And the bad karam got them too
IRAN#1   (04.16.11)
It's well known that IAEA inspectors under the direction of their Japanese head helped conduct this act of nuclear terrorism on Iran. But, Fukushima was a good lesson for those who plan evil on others to get a hard leanered lesson which will live with them and their grand kids for a very very long time. Now go have some sushi if you dare :)
21. Just because Iran says so,
Annette ,   Israel/USA   (04.16.11)
doesn't mean it is so. How do they know that Israel and the US are the parents of the Stuxnet worm? Did Iran sequence its DNA?
22. Whoever...
Susan ,   Kfar Saba   (04.16.11)
made that worm, it was brilliant. Much better than starting a war.
23. #6; Frank-el, Frankly I don't give a...
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (04.16.11)
damn, Scarlett. As An American I proud, so there you have it. Two Americans with two different opinions, what a great country! Fortuitously I'm right and your wrong, and it was about time we did something, I'm sure most agree we me. As far as the USA being in the service of Israel, that's just antisemitic tripe, save it. The question is simple will the world be a safer place with Iran in possession of nukes. The answer is of course NOT! It has nothing to do with whether Israel, or whether they have them (nukes) or not. Israel started nothing, it was Arabs rejection and attempted destruction (5 Wars, 5 Tries, all failed attempts) of another independent country. So at least get your facts right, boy! Why is it, except for the Arabs, nobody in the West ever worried about Israel having nukes? Because they wouldn't give them to terrorists, and they don't sponsor terrorists. So grow up little boy. We live in real world where you take sides, you choose our enemies and evil, I don't.
24. Hey sons of eretz yisrael...
Fire worshipper Turk   (04.16.11)
Welcome to holy land and welcome to Middle east..welcome to between us..if u have strong mental health.
25. I thought the worm was achmadinjab a.k.a.
jason white ,   afula, israel   (04.16.11)
the missing link. Maybe the mullahs have worms.Dogs get them all the time. Sometimes I get the impression the iranians do not like us.
26. Aren't they a bit slow?
Arieh Lebowitz ,   NewYork, USA   (04.16.11)
I distinctly remember reading in I think it was The New York Times in which it was quite clear that Israeli officials did not deny that this wasan Israeli initiative. So what's the significance of this latest news item,if any?
27. To #6: comment
Joe ,   Canada   (04.16.11)
Your worry that Stuxnet will spread disasters outside Iran is most probably misplaced. Comments by experts have indicated that the virus design was specifically aiming at process controllers of Siemens design which were used in the construction of Iranian nuclear plants. If it was as "virulent" as you assume it would already have caused many countries to complain & we do not see any evidence of that. All your other arguments in objecting to the use of Stuxnet which make you "angry and embarrased" are just pretexts to try to camouflage what is in your mind behind the words "in the service of Israel". This is really what bothers you.
28. Iranian intelligence is pretty slow these days
zionist forever   (04.16.11)
Stuxnet was obviously not the work of some computer geek who gets his kicks out of creating computer viruses. This thing was obviously military and the only two countries with a motive and the capability to do something like this are Israel and the US. Physically they could both do it although Israel does have more motivation. Obama had ruled out military action and banned Israel from trying anything. Whoever did it was a smart move.
29. The 'Patsies'
Shaul ,   Sheboygan   (04.16.11)
The virus "Struxnet" altered the performance of Siemens PLC's (programmable logic controllers) that are made in Germany. It did this by messing with the software that these particular controllers use, "Step 7", which is produced in Idahoe (one of the United States). It was placed on these controllers by using the computer operating system "Windows" which is produced in the state of Washington. Specifically in Redmond, Washington. (Redmond is 25 kilometers from Seattle.)
30. We should take that worm and shove it
dyslexic........... ,   Israel.........   (04.16.11)
