Get used to it folks! Palestine will be recognized by most nations of the world. Not because it is the right thing to do but because, right now, there is nothing left to do. Over sixty years of wars, conflict, UN resolutions and accords nothing worked. The world sees the recognition of Palestine as a way of washing their hands of this mess. Here, you got your state, problem solved, we are no longer responsible for what happens in that region! The sad thing is; this want work either and Israel will still be held responsible.

Before the Muslims blow up in Europe and start their 'protests and burning cars & cities again because of 'so much violence, there must be a sweet candy to calm them down, being of course, the Palis and their state.

Look, as the Brits said and I quote: "Nothing is off the table with regard to recognition in September," They are just trying to force Israel into putting some deal on the table. Saying and doing are two different things. They just are using this as a pressuring technique. The recent remarks that the RoR issue is NOT negotiable, won't help the Arabs. So if the goal is peace, and giving the Arabs a new country is suppose to accomplish that, then it fails. So there is no need to follow through with the country, is there. Since it won't work to that end. That was it's sole purpose, and it fails. So why bother.

What Ynet DUTIFULLY omits to state CLEARLY is that during the 9-month freeze, the palis REFUSED to be engaged in peace talks with Israel UNTIL the freeze was nearly OVER. And the palis PROMPTLY made MORE demands.

talk about economical basketcase- you meaning the US? just because you guys are in denial doesn't mean it is so: you cannot wish away several million Palestinians- are you willing to support them indefinitely, or starve them to death? why not put them on a concentration camp?
