1. Strange.
Jules   (04.22.11)
Likud and Yisrael Beineinu parties have Political Charters; all the plans are in there. Why asking rhetorical questions ?
2. Dear Shimon...
seadog1946 ,   ArthurKill, NJ   (04.22.11)
a war is brewing... your talk of peace is pointless... it may start in the fall of this year. Do you have a presidential bunker?
3. Serve legal proof Judea & Samaria belong to Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.22.11)
One of the most ridiculous aspects of the phony "peace talks" is that we have incontrovertible legal proof that Judea and Samaria belong to Israel. This fact has been proven and acknowledged by countless international legal scholars. See, for instance, "The Myth of Israel's Illegal Settlements" by Prof. David M. Phillips, Northeastern University School of Law. Why does Israel's government hide the proof? Why do we allow our enemies to pose as legitimate owners of our land? Israel should serve our proof on the U.N., E.U., all world bodies, all governments and the world media. Would our enemies and false friends accept it? Of course not. However, we would greatly strengthen our position, encourage our friends and convince every open minded person that we are correct.
4. oh my lord... bibi HAS a ("peace") plan...
eporue ,   europe   (04.22.11)
...and he has "presented" in many times... its just pretty violent, and not anything anyone (except for settlers and religious extremists) can go along with... bibi needs a NEW "peace"-plan : one in compliance with intl law and human rights...
5. Israel has had a peace plan
Sagi   (04.22.11)
for many years. It is a very simple plan. It states thus. Let's sit down and talk and see how we can live together in this area. the Arabs have consistently rejected this plan simply because they have no interest in peace. The only peace that they really want is every piece of land.
6. israeli peace plan
larry Butler ,   kibbutz niroz Israel   (04.22.11)
The first thing Israel needs to do is First and formost demand the release of Gilad Shalit .. then and only then does Israel need to move forward. but it shouldn't do anything until Gilad is released
7. Will this fool never shut up?
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (04.22.11)
Peres, how much more damage do you want to inflict upon us? Wasn't Oslo enough of a disaster?
8. Hypocrite!
JAy3 ,   Israel   (04.22.11)
It was Peres/Beilin that created this mess to start with by bogusly legitimizing PAlestinian rights during Olso. This traitor should be in Jail! There is no Palestinian people or country!
9. Peres has been proposing Peace Plans
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.22.11)
since the beginning of time, I'm still waiting for him to put out one that actually would work
10. Jerusalem the capital of both states!
Maurice ,   Montreal   (04.22.11)
I have not heard yet anything more stupid than that! Two states having the same capital! I presume this plan does not consider the division of Jerusalm into two capitals- east and west. Sometimes one wonders how these politicians do not have the least bit of common sense!
11. Obama and Islamist-Jihadism
Brod ,   USA   (04.22.11)
Soaked in Islamist-Jihadism, Obama is formulating a plan that endangers Israel's existence and the restoration of Modern Israel in their Ancient Land of Israel as planned and provided by the GOD of Israel. Israel should not waste time talking with the scoundrels. Israel should defend every inch of its liberated historic/biblical homeland of Judea and Samaria-Land of Israel from Obama and the world of the dark forces.
12. Wrong as ususal
Rachel ,   US   (04.22.11)
Abbas couldn't and wouldn't accept anything Israel presented.
13. Peace Plan
Ram ,   London   (04.22.11)
Israel should put forward the following demands, to the "Palestinians" and the world, time and again, vociferously. 1. Recognition of the Jewish State 2. Jerusalem to remain undivided 3. The new state to be without an army 4. No right of return It should make it clear that anything less will result in a "no deal". Also make it clear that the creation of a new state without its agreement will be tantamount to a declaration of war. I believe the western world is at present plotting against Israel, perhaps with the help of liberal jews.
14. Peace Plan
Dan Ness ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.22.11)
I've got a suggestion for a new "Peace Plan". The Pals keep the peace and in return Israel will keep the peace. Perez continues to do damage to this country every time he opens his mouth starting with Oslo. Incredible that these people stay on.
15. I have a plan
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.22.11)
In 1992, Peres had a peace plan. Thanks to that plan, Peres won the Nobel Peace Prize, thousands of Arabs and Jews lost their lives and peace is less likely than it was in 1992. I suggest that Netanyahu implement the peace plan for which he was elected, as written in the Likud constitution. If he is unwilling or unable, let him step down and let a real Likudnik do it.
16. Peres put Israel in the biggest trouble with Oslo ! shame !
David   (04.22.11)
no ''peace'' plan. Israel needs to recover its deterrence !
17. to nr. 13.
ruling citizen ,   world/planet earth   (04.22.11)
do you really think the other party (the palestinians and other arab peoples/muslims) will accept your "peace-plan"? that is very naive and dreaming on a clout/cycling in the air. wake up , get real and enjoy life!
18. #15. Bibi betrays Likud"s Consititution. He must be replaced
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.22.11)
#15. You are absolutely correct. Bibi's Bar Ilan speech and policies endorsing the monstrous Two State Final Solution are a complete betrayal of the Likud Constitution. They are also a complete betrayal of everything the vast majority of Israelis voted for. Bib must be replaced. We can't continue tolerating leaders who win patriotic right wing mandates and than implement the vile policies of the far left Labor and Meretz Parties.
19. Peace plan
Michael Pielet ,   Boca, usa   (04.22.11)
What peace plan. This is simply destruction of Israel in PIECES!
20. Peres and Obama
John cone ,   USA   (04.22.11)
Interesting just after his visit with Obama he says thus why who dies Peres work for the united stares or israel. He had twenty years to try his way with the failed Oslo process and it failed miserably. The only way to fight back against the pressure is to act with strength and say no to appeasement and one way concessions how manyore one way concessions dies the world want israel to make
21. Another Peres' piece plan
Alf Red, Londonistan ,   UK   (04.22.11)
I would've thought this old disaster creator should sit in the Pres. mansion AND KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT - as his current position demands. But no, oh no! He has done already HUGE harm to our country by his OSLO catastrophe, but it seems that was not enough. Mr Peres, I have my own peace plan for fakestinians: most of these that occupied Judea and Samaria go to their beloved Balestine which is presently called Jordan (thank you Britain!). These in Gaza are welcome to transfer their asses to Sinai (with the help of the money due by a lot of Arab countries to the Jews that had been thrown out robbed penniless). What? Don't you like it? You prefer current missiles? Or you want us to have undefensible borders and new Berlin in Jerusalem? How right was Einstein in saying that human stupidity is bottomless!
22. Solution to Israel-Palestine Conflict
Steven   (04.22.11)
Relocate all the Jewish residents in the West Bank to new homes and communities inside Israel and deport all the Arab residents in Gaza and the West Bank to Jordan and Egypt. Then turn the West Bank and Gaza into national parks and nature reserves. Start planting forests there and introducing wildlife native to the Middle East into those areas. Israel would control these areas but no one would be allowed to live in these areas. The Palestinians would also stop calling themselves Palestinians and start calling themselves Egyptians and Jordanians. Jordan is 85% Palestinian anyways. Problem Solved!
23. At least 10-15000 miles of Jordan
Eric ,   United States   (04.22.11)
Didn't Jordan not too long ago govern the West Bank? Now After we win all these wars the world still wants us to give up all of the West Bank and only Israeli land for a Palestinian state while Egypt and Jordan are really those who owe it to them some land the most, Someone please help me here.
24. Peres and International Law PT 1
Ralph Levy ,   USA   (04.22.11)
First International Law said Israel had a right to the West Bank and Israel next International Law was changed to allow Israel to have secure and recognize borders then International Law was changed again so Israel can only have the 1967 borders what next no Israel. International Law is a Joke Fight Back against the Quartet No More Concessions.
25. Peres and International Law PT 2
Ralph Levy ,   USA   (04.22.11)
Any predetermination by a outside power of the situation on Israel and the West Bank is illegal by international law. Eugene Rostow Under Secretary of state author of UN resolution 242 wrote in 1991 that Israel and Jews had a right to settle the West Bank, and that the British Mandate cannot be rescinded. He also said that Israel was not required to go back to the 67 borders.
26. Peace Plan
James ,   Memphis,USA   (04.22.11)
If memory serves me correctly, doesn't the name Peres mean "Divider"? Food for Thought!!!
27. I agree with Peres. Israel should propose its own
leo ,   usa   (04.22.11)
plan to counter everything out there. Delay, filibuster, sabotage. @.5 years of Obama have already passed. 1.5 year more and Tea Party will finally take over Senate and hopefully the Presidency. Just be smart and do not say "No". Say "Yes, of course, but how about ...". I see an opportunity here.
28. #8 They legitimized the Palestinian rights??
Dave ,   Washington, DC   (04.22.11)
or they legitimized Israel right and they delivered nothing to Palestinians who trusted them. Palestinian rights were not given by Beilin or Peres and will not be taken away by Natanyahoo.
29. Peres and Peace
Harold ,   USA   (04.22.11)
Then why he was granted the Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing.
30. We remember your Oslo failure, don't try again.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (04.22.11)
