Admit it, you're just jealous because you're not being cut in on it
33. labelling kills?
Laura   (04.26.11)
so labeling would kill the kosher meat business? It is ALL about money, isn't it? Who cares about the animals as long as the business is good? Sorry Ravs- you have just proven once again what is important- and don't bring up the anti- semitism homily, it won't wash.
34. #28 Marilyn, let's talk about non-kosher
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.27.11)
Are we to assume that every chicken, cow or turkey, went to meet it's end willingly, with a smile on it's face ? As you happily chomp on your burger or turkey leg, did you ever give any thought as to how the animal met it's end ? One way or the other, the creature met it's end and you're munching on it's remains, enjoying a Coke and some french fries to go with your repast Your shoes and belt, are they leather ?
35. such labeling of kosher meat
Matthias ,   Munich, Germany   (04.27.11)
is not about care of the animals. Is is the modern way of the "Kauft nucht bri Juden" slogan. I am only suprised they need nealy 70 years to find it. Must be a hard brainstorming time...

What is this world coming to? Which group hasn't foresaken the Torah?

I don't eat red meat or foul. Anyways if you showed me everything being done right, I'd say continue as is. But this isn't the case. There is so much being done wrong and offences to religion, it's like where to begin? And instead of facing it, there is an effort to divert attention away from it. It's like somewhere along the line are actually going to have to deal with it.

BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.28.11)
If you don't eat, as you claim, red meat or fowl, do you partake of fish or crustaceans ? Fish are killed by hitting them in the head & shell fish by placing them in boiling water You still haven't denied that you wear leather shoes or belts, any reason for the evasion ?
39. kosher- or not
rita   (06.20.11)
it is a business- the rabbis admit it themselves- the public in Europe has a right to know- they decide- You guys eat your kosher meat, we ordinary people eat meat from stunned animals- you are happy, we are happy. But I as a paying customer consider ritual slaughter barbaric, so I decided what I want to buy. If YOUR BUSINESS suffers, it is your own problem...why should I care? Don't start with the anti-semitic tirade- it has been used too often...
40. #22 get a grip
Laura   (06.20.11)
you are not correct. Switzerland has had laws against ritual slaughter since God knows when- long before there was a single Muslim living there. And spare me the anti-semitic argument- Kashrut laws are arcaic and outdated. They made maybe sense thousands of years ago- but not today- except to start arguments and raise prices of meat, so certain people can make a profit.
