1. And you want to give these murderers a state
Rachel ,   US   (04.24.11)
Fire Barak!
2. Barak and Bibi spineless dolts
David ,   Israel   (04.24.11)
OK - Bibi and Barak, now go whine to the "international community" you are constantly trying to appease. Why doesn't anyone seem to care about the lives of Israelis? Simple - why should people care when it's obvious our own leaders view our lives with such callous disregard. Go home Barak! Go home Bibi!
3. speeding through a police/military checkpoint
seadog1946 ,   ArthurKill, NJ   (04.24.11)
at dawn, tag/kiss a religious site and speed out of town, sounds like a prank gone bad. Driving erratically, drunk on alcohol/religion, in the presence of armed police/soldiers, has it's consequences.
4. Minister of Defense not jiving with the IDF version?
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (04.24.11)
Yet the IDF is calling it a "security event"? What does Barak know that the IDF doesn't? Why suddenly does the IDF have its head up its kiester where normally Barak keeps his? Barak claims he's leading the "peace camp". Yet anybody with half a brain knows what will happen when you say "We hold the PA responsible for its troops and will pursue the matter to its fullest extent." What will the PA do? Nothing. And that's a known fact.
5. barak on 'murder'
moron ,   galut   (04.24.11)
terrible minister of 'defenselessness'--retire him with more ribbons and duct tape over his lips which never stop moving
6. Barak trying to resurrect like Jesus
Dave   (04.24.11)
but for no avail. He knows center and center/left are gone for him electorally. so now he is trying align to the right but he is probably more hated there then in the center/left. 2 years to go at the most and he is history.
7. @1 murderers?
daz ,   uk   (04.24.11)
When IDF shoot dead Palestinians their doing their job when PA security shoot at armed settlers who run a checkpoint their murderers
8. Israel tasting its own medicine
Ibrahim Ibn Yusuf ,   Rosario, Argentina   (04.25.11)
So, Mr. Barak, you're saying that no coordination mishap can justify the killing of a civilian. Where were you when an IDF coordination mishap killed a 65 year-old man in his sleep in Hebron? While the death of this Jew is most probably an avoidable tragedy, he did commit a transgression. The same can't be said about Palestinians as young as 13 that have been shot down by the IDF because of their "suspicious movements."
