1. Draft dodgers
Smith ,   TA, Israel   (04.26.11)
These draft dodging fanatics put the lives of IDF soldiers at risk. Several times the IDF has had to come to their rescue. Enough! Time to enforce the law for our boys own safety (and it seems for these fanatics safety as well). Start throwing them in jail and they'll sing a different tune.
2. Article

This may sound crazy to some but in the years I traveled to Israel I always wanted to visit Kever Yosef. Friends I traveled with were always too frightened. Watching this video was both exciting but it also reminded me that this is a very dangerous (crazy) thing to do. The faith one must have to do this is unreal. It is a shame that one can't visit this place peacefully.
3. They had a death wish

4. Such a deep and strong faith ! These people are heroes!

5. Yosef

This is a very serious matter. Murder, is murder and Livnat was murdered by the terrorists. Livnat and his fellow chassidim violated a basic law of Judaism to safeguard one's life. Livnat violated his obligations to his wife and his children by acting carelessly. In this matter Livnat and the israeli left have something in common, each in his own way helps to legitimize the arab right to slaughter Jews. Next time Livnat and his fellow chassidim should join the army fight for Israel and protect their lives and the lives of other Jews.
6. Akiva Novick!
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim   (04.26.11)
B"H Akiva Novick, if you are scared, don't come here. We are not allowed to run scared here. Certainly don't call this Land by its Jordanian occupation name, "West Bank". Since '67, going from South to North this is: Yehuda, Yerushalayim, Binyamin and Efraim. The same way, Yoseph's Tomb is in Shechem, and not the Arabic "Nablus". So, why are you using all these Arabic toponyms to describe the Lands and places G-d gave to the Jews in eternal inheritance? Hm?
7. they were there for trouble and found it

IDF convoy. Let everyone work for 24 hour access with IDF protection instead of risking their lives for the joy of an arab killing them and their friends passing out sweets celebrating the death of a Jew.
9. Impressive -- but irresponsible.

10. A man who lost
Michael ,   California, USA   (04.27.11)
Sounds like a brave young man. What a life to waste! He could have been an officer in the IDF ranks, an inspiring leader. Some day he could be Israel's Minister of Education and do a much better job at it than his inept aunt. Instead, he wasted his life accessing dangerous places outside of Israel. He left four orphans who will continue to be brainwashed. I feel deep sorry for those children.
11. @5
Mark Rosen ,   Miami   (04.27.11)
Oh Michael you are so, so, so correct and its frightening that reason didn't play a part in a people that are suppose to be spiritual and put life before death. Hopefully this mans children wont grow up to be impetuous and sacrilegious worshiping the dead as their father.
12. #1 you are 100% correct
Avi ,   Israel   (04.27.11)
They are fanatics that not only put their own lives at risk but those of our security forces. Jail time is the only solution for these people
13. Because Israel doesn't insist the PA honor their agreements
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (04.27.11)
Under the Oslo Accords and several subsequent agreements, the Palestinians are obligated to provide free and unfettered access to Jewish sacred sites, and among those listed is Joseph's Tomb. Yet they flagrantly violate those agreements, and Israel refuses to press the issue because they don't want to "stir up trouble". During the worst of times under ancient Roman rule, Jews were prohibited from performing circumcision, taking converts, or studying Torah. Indeed, in the Haggadah we read just last week we find a reference to Akiva discussing Torah far into the night - an illegal act during the Bar Kochva rebellion. If Israel doesn't want its citizens taking such risks to visit these sites, it should grow a backbone and demand that the PA honor its commitments. As to the claim that "Everybody wants to renovate it", the fact that the Palestinians tried to torch the site yet again after the Livnat murder shows how ludicrous that claim is.
