1. they would pocket the money and then comeback again
zionist forever   (04.26.11)
We need to do something about the Bedouin who are a problem but we can't give them money otherwise they will take the money, go away for a little while then comeback and we wont get a refund. We need to appropriate all given to the Bedouin by the Turks. Create US Indian style reservations which the Bedouin would own and have some degree of autonomy over so they could have as many wives as they want and play with their camels. Individuals would be allowed to rent state land although there could be no illegal villages built. If they don't like it then let them pack up their camels and go back to Libya and Saudi Arabia at their own expense. Israel needs to start taking control of the entire country. The arabs in the Galilee should not have the muscle they do and close down specifically arab schools where they set their own curriculum. The haredi must also be brought inline. Try and respect wishes of different groups but start cracking down saying this is how its going to be for everybody. One of this countries biggest problem is it is such a ghettoized place with different groups doing things their own way in the areas where they are the majority.
2. Amen rabbi!
jason ,   ramat gan   (04.27.11)
3. The guy is helucanating...the beduim were
Eitan ,   TA   (04.27.11)
here all along, they have nothing to do with Saudi Arabia nor Libya. Moreover, as solder in the IDF i can testify those guys did for the security of Israel 100 times what those parasites in Hebron ever did.
4. Many Beduins serve in IDF. That's more than you do
meir elazar   (04.27.11)
5. Not only Bedouin. Begin with Judea/Samaria Arabs too.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.27.11)
The Rabbi is correct. The true solution to most of Israel's problems is to pay Arabs to leave our land. Not only Bedouins. We should also begin with Judea and Samaria Arabs. It would be costly for Israel in the short term but we'd save billions of dollars annually in security alone. We'd secure our Homeland forever. It's a one time investment with permanent returns.
6. Now might not be the best time...
Naor ,   USA   (04.27.11)
To try and pay the Bedouins to return to Libya. Not that I don't think they will be ecstatic to return given the current conditions...
7. OMG
barjas ,   damascus   (04.27.11)
ARyou jocking Mr THE RABI. we are here before the birth of yours. it is difficult for you and for others as well to eliminate and evacuate us. be sure, that the 1948 era has gone , the wheel doesnt go back. we never miss an opportunity to clamp and rooted to this own land. you are talking about incentives. we have money, we dont want these. we are going to be thrown in your throat . we never succumb i advice you to talk about peace and mutual living instead. your words claim to more hostility and root the painful meaning of insanity i ask almighty allh to guide you towards the straight bath rather than to the hell one
8. If anyone should leave its Rabbi Dov Lior
Avi ,   Israel   (04.27.11)
He can go back to Breslau, Galicia and take his racsist views and followers with him. He is a discrase to the jewish nation who he pretends to represent. He has been arrested several times for inciting hatred and violance and also suggested it was ok to kill non jews. Thanks but if this so called rabbi is an example of judism then we are all in grave danger.
9. Disagree
R ,   Israel   (04.27.11)
Rabbi, there are bedouin who serve in the IDF and your statement is a kick in the stomach to them.
10. Foolish rabbi
GUH   (04.27.11)
Their "country of origin" is the soil that you stand on. They have more rights and entitlement to this land than you do. Here's a suggestion: why don't YOU return to Poland, Russia, Germany, or the United States?
11. I agree! Bedouins dont belong on jewish soil
GLENN ,   YUCAIPA,USA   (04.27.11)
ISRAEL HAS BEEN JEWISH SOIL SINCE ABRAHAM AND KING DAVID
12. JEWISH LAW! Not UN,EU,US,or PA law

Marco ,   Spain   (04.27.11)
14. Curses upon curses
Susan ,   L.A.   (04.27.11)
Its people like this, Rabbis like this, that delegitimize Israel with their rabid rantings, what wise man that dosen't think before he speaks just foments at the mouth causing conflict and an atmosphere of hate and attrition. What wise man?
15. Our Land
Omar ,   Palestine   (04.27.11)
Rabi, we were here before you and anybody else. We can go any were we want that is our international right , got it. keep your money, See you soon.
16. when I visited Israel I
Barney ,   USA   (04.27.11)
was taken on a tour and the Israeli guide took us to dinner in the Negev and a Bedouin hosted the affair. The Israeli guide spoke of some of the Bedouins loyalty to Israel, their skills in the desert, and their help to the IDF. There must be a way to allow those loyal to Israel to stay. As with the arabs, those who work against the state-out!
17. Beduins
Jew ,   Israel   (04.27.11)
DNA tests have shown that some of the Beduin tribes (but, not all) have Jewish roots!!!
18. This is anti-semitic
Cynic #2   (04.27.11)
these beduins are Semites themselves.
19. where was this rabbi born
javier ,   Paris   (04.27.11)
It turns out that... not in Israel. Maybe he should show the example, and return himself to where he was born. To start with. And then ask others to do so.
20. Appalling comment by Rabbi Lior
Marjorie ,   Toronto, CANADA   (04.27.11)
I rarely talk back on these talkbalk boxes, but I am appalled. We Jews are a people who have been victims for centuries of the same nasty language. "Tell them to go back where they came from!" is a refrain all too familiar to Jews. Most recently, in the USA, the anti-Semitic journalist Helen Thomas said that after the Holocaust the Jews should have gone "back where they came from" (meaning Poland and Germany!), rather than to Israel. To hear a rabbi speak in the same language about Israeli Bedouin is deeply upsetting to me. We should remember that we "were strangers in Egypt," and not "oppress the stranger" (though Bedouin are not even strangers, but native to this region).
21. Helen Thomas with a beard and black hat ?
Stuart ,   yeruham - Israel   (04.27.11)
come on rav you really that blind ? at its most basic cant you see the hole you'd create in Israels ecconamy and labour force.
22. Here we go, more fodder for the west to feed on
Talula ,   Israel   (04.27.11)
Why can't these Moronic rabbis just keep shtum!! Beduins are an integral part of this country, they serve in the army and are amazing at what they do - which is more than I can say for the lazy religious .
23. Living in Israel will be easire without them.
Daniel ,   Israel   (04.27.11)
24.  Rabbi Lior, Why Are You So Rude?
Salma ,   Palestine   (04.27.11)

25. Rabbi Lior
roxie ,   israel   (04.27.11)
First he tells the Bedouins to leave Israel, then the Israeli Arabs, then the non Jewish Russians,Philippians, then he will tell the Secular Jews to leave as well!
26. Israel wandered in the Dessert 40 years
Josh   (04.27.11)
They aren't bothing anyone. The Rabbi lives in his dati only guarded community and the bediuns live out in the barren dessert. Why should he even care? Making monsters and enemies is a cult practice and not Torah.
27. to #7 syria was established in 1940 before
ghostq   (04.27.11)
that jews lived there only to be expelled, on what peace living r you talking about untill now you proved other wise.
28. why even give this airtime
Dale ,   JHB, South Africa   (04.27.11)
Are you insane, these people contribute to Israels economy, army and society. They are Israeli unlike the black hat scum that refuse to serve and quickly put a hand out. They are not like the Palestinians who are a displaced people; some Jordanian some Egyptian and some the Balfour decleration never took into account. Rov, you are a bigger enemy to the Jewish people then Hamas
29. "encourage the return to their countries of origin"
