1. Exposed: Good Fatah/Bad Hamas lunacy.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.27.11)
Leftist appeasers have long told us we must make suicidal concessions to our Fatah "peace partners" to assure they remain more popular among "Palestinians" than their fellow Hamas terrorists. It was always a dumb theory, to say the least. However, the alliance between Fatah and Hamas exposes it as truly lunatic.
2. Woo Hoo!
US Jewish Realist ,   New Jersey, USA   (04.27.11)
Palestinians are progressing well on their plan publicly stated about 2 years ago leading to declaring their own state which is beneficial to all, particularly we Jews everywhere and Israel. Israel needs to get real now ... and just, moral and Jewish again!
3. Just like a circus act
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (04.27.11)
Which group will be the hind end of the horse ?
4. Great !
2Mad ,   צרפת   (04.27.11)
On first projectile launched from Gaza, be it mortar, brick, stone or paper-ball - throw those two in to the deepest jail-hole, for ever and ever.
5. Really...
Z ,   Israel   (04.27.11)
So now Obama, what do you want to do? We will NEVER negotiate with Hamas, so therefore, will never negotiate with the PA. Peace talks are over. Worst move the PA could make. The fact that Egypt helped broker the deal says a lot about the direction that nation is turning in, and more than likely, they will try to open the Rafah Crossing. Middle East chaos will ensue. SO what now Obama, Quartet, EU?
6. It will last 5 minutes .. then they will be murdering eachot
Lee ,   Manchester UK   (04.27.11)
her as usual.
7. Fatah, Hamas agree to form interim gov't
Spencer ,   Israel   (04.27.11)
That's interesting if it's true. That means that Fatah is forming and alliance with Hamas, an organisation or terrorists who have sworn to destroy Israel. So now, we can legitimately break off all contacts with Fatah.
8. BITE ME!
er der   (04.27.11)
9. Yes to Unity, No to Negotiations
Nour ,   One State   (04.27.11)
10. More heartwarming news
Stephen in New York   (04.27.11)
Guess that means that Abbas moves left and Hamas, right. But Hamas will not modify its political position due to theological reasons, not political (but of course will pretend for tactical purposes). Anyway, the pot simmers, but war is inevitable. I don’t say that from New York with voyeuristic delight. New York is also the front line. I ride the subway.
11. Wait! Aren't you interested in Obama's birth certificate?
Baruch ,   Marin County, CA   (04.27.11)
Israel is being played by the US with this deal. It's obvious now. The arming of a brand new Arab state will bring big bucks to the military contractors and ensure many wars to come. But wait! Aren't you interested in Obama's birth certificate instead? Most Americans don't even know what their government is doing. Shameful.
12. Legislative elections a year from now?
Nora Tel Aviv   (04.27.11)
Fatah will be the big looser. Hamas will reign legally over West Bank too. Israel`s Ben Gurion airport will be closed.Back to square one, to secure its existence, Israel will have to fight and invade both Hamastans: Gazza and the West Bank. Thousands will die. Even then ,no solution will be aggreed upon to end the conflict in peace . Israel, preventively, should stop these elections before it becomes a booby trap for another Auschwitz border. .
13.  WAW ......That's Really Great Nws : )
Salma ,   Palestine   (04.27.11)
Bravo Fatah, bravo Hamas.
14. Bye
Me ,   Somewhere   (04.27.11)
Pals can say bye bye to their "palestine" state...sometimes i'm amazed of the stupidity of Arabs !!
15. Palestinians can get the one party system they want
Music ,   USA   (04.27.11)
Clearly silly things like elections didn't work with both parties banning future ones. Unless Hamas mends their genocidal charter, I don't expect anyone to deal with them.
16. Big Deal. Not Impressed.
Mahdi Mabus   (04.27.11)
Fatah is a terrorist plucked chicken. Hamas is a terrorist locked up in Gaza. Their unity means nothing. They have no power anymore. The Messianic Age is here.
17. Prophetic
SLZ ,   New York   (04.27.11)
A right-wing rabbi deemed a racist and assassinated in NYC by Arab terrorists predicted missiles would be launched from territories surrendered to our Arab cousins. I did not believe. Look what happened. He predicted more than that. We may soon see missiles being fired by PA operatives in the "West Bank." Dare we dismiss his warnings and those of the biblical prophets?
18. Fatah and Hamas united
Harold ,   USA   (04.27.11)
Both factions must unit soon because both represent the Palestinians as shown below: Fattah = Palestinians Hamas = Palestinians Therefore Fattah = Hammas
19. Seeing Assad's Syria Falling
John   (04.27.11)
Sensing the end of Assad in Syria, opportunistic Hamas has made an about face in order to save its own neck from Assad's Syrian support and is turning towards Egyptian support now.
20. I wonder who/what made Fatah/Hamas
seadog1946 ,   InTransit, USA   (04.27.11)
get together in the same room, agree to an interim government and an election.
21. Fatah-Hamas Agreement
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (04.27.11)
Whats the deal ?.Fatah, will also attack Israel with qasams.
22. Business Opportunity
Frankie Littlehammer ,   New Herstal, TX, USA   (04.27.11)
A manufacturer of shoes with springs could make a great profit selling those to the Fatah personnel moving to Gaza. With those shoes they can just hop back to Israel and the PA when they're dropped from buildings
23. Arab agreements- no more value than the paper its written on
Yaniv ,   Israel   (04.27.11)
24. #2 US
solomon ,   bklyn   (04.27.11)
Israel IS real, just, moral and Jewish. But neither blind nor stupid. Israel withdrew from southern Lebanon; erego Hezbullah. Israel withdrew from Gaza; erego Hamas. The PA/PLO refuses to accept Israel by refusing to state that any agreement will be the last. Read some history. And begin at the beginning.
25. Fatah
Chatich   (04.27.11)
Isn't fatah the "moderate" movement of the "palestinians" to which we (and the americans) supplied weapons, military training and intel cooperation? Isn't fatah the same "moderate" group for whom we made countless unilateral concessions, handed over territorial security responsibilities and dismantled checkpoints? Is it safe to assume now that all we have given to the "moderate" fatah now totally accessible to the "not so moderate" hamas? Isn't the definition of insanity doing the same thing ** cough ** "2-state solution" ** cough ** over and over and expecting a different result?
26. reconcilliation
arne ,   chicago usa   (04.27.11)
congradulations , bill clinton. it was your influence that rabin was forced to shake the hand of the devil and in so doing allowed the plo to return to ithe west bank--given money--weaponry and an opportunity to once again become a threat to israel. all that's happend since is a result of Oslo. never before in history has a defeated enemy been what he gave to arafat. forget monica this his legacy
27. #2 You are almost funny
GOOD ,   USA/Israel   (04.27.11)
Israel needs to get real? Moral and Jewish again? Are you kidding me? Is it Jewish and moral to commit suicide? Israel is super moral and Jewish but we also want to survive. You sound like a typical lefty who can't seem to comprehend that Jews have a right to protect themselves. If you are a Jewish realist why don't you come live in Israel for a while and serve in the military to help your brothers and sisters? Than we'll see if you still think it's appropriate to give your land to a murderous enemy.
28. Abbas has just
The bitter truth!   (04.27.11)
declared war on Israel.
29. As Prime Minister Netanyahu said...
Jewish Warrior   (04.27.11)
Fatah can have peace with Hamas or peace with Israel, but not both. Fatah has chosen, and shown its true colors.
30. Don't Hold Your Breath
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (04.27.11)
Any agreement or election will spell the end for Hamas as a ruling entity and that dumb they are not. Expect Hamas to take over the West Bank soon thereafter, as part of the Iranian/Hamas plan to destroy Israel. Only one thing is guaranteed. You can't trust them!
