What a trip to the past........I remember padding through those Tarzan comics as a kid, and how much I liked Kubert's artwork. He & Kirby were the two artists that stand out strongest in my memory from all those years ago. Fare thee well, Kubert.

i'd like an invitation to the opening.i'd like to meet joe.i'm a painter and live in moshav komemiyote and will be having an exhibition much later this year at the jerusalem municipal gallery.although i've followed the fine art vein in my lifes work i've always admired the illustrators.my teacher in anatomy in visual arts was byrne hogath many years ago.hey i grew up in frazzetas neighborhood tho i never met him.besides his wacky themes his hand was superb and the picture is the thing.

Read Yossel, a "what -if " story that takes place in the Warsaw ghetto. This is truly a cultural highlight for Israelis to see creative expression of the "Jewish experience" that falls outside of the "norm". [Another proof that Ahad Ha-Am was right. ]
