So after your logical analysis which clearly readers appreciate is your solution the HAMAS solution - one state for two peoples?

Thank you for your comments. To answer your question, Israel should annex Judea and Samaria. I wrote an article on the subject which you can find via google.

Finally, a Rightist who admits it. Now, what do we do with all those Palestinians? Full-citizenship and voting rights?

And once and for all, kill the cries of "we're not at an apartheid state" and continue screaming about delegitimizers, whilst handing over the absolute best ammunition? No, wait, it's absolute madness you want isn't it, the kind in which what people say and think isn't important, but what is, is to maintain the occupation, just because you think we can. You are taking us further into an abyss. Stop it.
35. A simple question from the outside
Ralph Haglund ,   Sweden   (05.01.11)
Why is there not a single rightist newspaper in Israel, at least as rightist as the electors in the last election? OK, I only see the English ones online, I read Arutz-7 online, most here say "ah, that is the settlers...." full of contempt. After all - all modern Israeli governments have treated the modern settlers with contempt. Even thou Israel got its life thru settlers from 1880 onwards. All Jews are settlers for Abbas.

I got you now - you and Mr Haniyeh of Hamas are in perfect harmony - with the exceptionof Gaza of course - why not annex that too. Given the rest oof the world have failed to recognise the earlier annexations of Golan and East Jerusalem annexing the west bank will be just about as useful. Come on now you really need to be thinking a little more out of the box. annexing the west bank would mean within a few years there will be perhaps 57 Arab MKs and the rest Jewish in a few decades the other way around. But if thats what you want - well I am sure HAMAS will be delighted to help ease the process.

Incidentally, I have found quite a few of my posts also left out of Talkbacks. What's going on, Ynet?

This is not a subject that can be discussed via short talkbacks. There are more and more people waking up to this fact (that annexation is the best option) and many serious people have started talking and writing about it. As I wrote in the article (the one I suggest you find via google or via my blog), the idea is not perfect and there certainly are some drawbacks. Having said that, it's unquestionably a million times better than the current "two-state solution". You can rant and rave and say ridiculous things about me, but that will not change the fact that many people (myself included) are 100% convinced that the current "two-state solution" will eventually lead to the destruction of Israel. Therefore, it is insane to go down that path. Do you really want to discuss the subject or do you just want to attack anyone who is not affraid to publicly state that annexation is the best choice? Finally, do you actually believe the proposed "two-state solution" will work?
39. Craziness

"If I were PM, I would clearly tell the world that the Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people, given to us by G-d" Meltzer YOU DO NOT represent the jews in the world. You should be ashamed of yourself. You are just as crazy as the Hamas or other religious fanatics.

Mr Meltzer, while i agree that Israel should annex Judea & Samaria, What do we do with the arabs living there because as i see it they will be the majority if we allow them to stay.

Thanks for your comments. As I keep suggesting to everyone, please read my article on annexation (either on my blog or by googling it). There I briefly discuss the issue. Without downplaying the problem, a lot has been written questioning the demographic numbers. Thus, while today Israel is approx 80% Jewish, many researchers are now saying that if Israel were to annex Judea and Samaria and all the Arabs would stay and accept citizenship, Israel would still be 65-70% Jewish. This would complicate the issue but it's certainly preferable to being destroyed, a certain outcome of the 2-state solution.
42. #38 One state
Jez ,   Israel   (05.01.11)
Yoel no ranting and raving or anything personal in either of my contributions - I checked but you fail to answer my main point which to reiterate is that you and Hamas are on the same page. One democratic state means the end of Israel some time. Please answer the point it really is a simple yes/no unless you are considering evicting Arabs or Apartheid which thank God we dont have here
43. To #42 Jez
Yoel Meltzer ,   Israel   (05.01.11)
Perhaps "ranting and raving" are not the correct words but to compare me in any shape or form to Hamas is a bit out of line. I thought I answered the question, if not in #38 then definitely in #41. As I clearly stated in #41 annexation is a problem from a demographic perspective, although perhaps not at drastic as you believe. There has been a lot written lately questioning the actual number of Arabs in Judea and Samaria so perhaps it's not gloom and doom. Also, as I said in #41, for me this is preferable to being destroyed which I'm 100% convinced will be the result of a Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria. For the same reason I prefer condemnations from the world (if we were to annex Judea and Samaria) since once again condemnations are better than destruction. Also, regardless of what we do we're usually condemned. By the way, you didn't answer my question from #38. Do you actually believe the 2-state solution will work? Or do you believe we should just "take a chance"?
