31. Loudon Deserves No Peace
Asher in Austin   (04.28.11)
To consider these neighborhoods as being "settlements" buys into the propaganda that the Arab leaders are sweet and innocent puppy dogs who just have chosen war or concessions for their entire existence.
32. #25; Casual T., You Mean Like the BBC
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (04.28.11)
In fact I've seen numerous anti-Israel posts here on YNET. Many of them False and fabricated in their content. In fact there is a host of anti-Israel writers just keep reading. But as another poster pointed out you could go to Haaretz, they mostly publish anti-Israel posts. When a pro-Israel post is published, they let the anti-Israel writers respond, but don't let the pro-Israel writer, who originally wrote the post, defend his/her position. This creates the illusion that the Pro-Israel writer was wrong, or couldn't defend their position. Very clever editorial control,. I refuse to write there now. I've found YNET to be much better at letting both sides talk. But sometimes I feel they block the pro-Israel writer. So I guess you just can't please everybody. My main complaint is YNET doesn't seem to let people post a lot of links, like they used to. I've always wondered why?
33. Palestine not ready for statehood
Barney ,   Sofia Bulgaria   (04.28.11)
Lets forget that the palestinian leadership has not done anything to honour the Oslo accords. Forget about terrorism, using their own people as meat on the battlefield. What are the resourses with which they plan to govern this country? Where are their courts, tax control, where is their political leadership? It's a country with two (acting) PM and two (acting) presidents. Half the budget comes from US, EU, UN and arab charity and aid (statics). Falling into chaos would be the good scenario for a future "Palestine". Maps and paper can't be eaten. And it's fairly obvious that even Fatah does not want to live side by side with Israel as good neibhours. It has been prooven by Camp David. And now they are sitting down with Hamas? Wow, talk about your political PR and propaganda...
34. to FAD EGYPT #29 and #26
SyrianFreedomEagle   (04.28.11)
This is a nice try, my good friend! I know what game you are playing. But I am sorry to tell you that your games will not work any longer. #26, you are completely right. This is guy is fake. He is Israeli pretending to be Egyptian. This is a typically hisrayely game. However, fad egypt, I hope that you will find a save country for you and your family soon, so that you don't have to play these games any more... Remember, peace and security are highly important!
35. He should follow his preference
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.28.11)
... and move to Gaza straightaway.
36. Look at #34 and unveiled threats
Isragirl   (04.28.11)
Peaceful people, those Arabs. BTW, these revolutions are not about democracy. Its about getting rid of corrupt, yet moderate and somewhat westernized leaders and replacing them with mullahs.
37. FAD, don't let the SyrianOccupationChicken get you down.

38. Funny how the "Settlements" Have Become the Distraction
Dallas ,   Canada   (04.28.11)
Thanks to Obama's bungling, waving the idea of "settlements" as a perfect distraction tool for the PA and world opinion to obsess over, the real issues fade into the fog. Back to basics - the Arab problem with having an autonomous Jewish nation is the root of all the hatred, unrest and murder. And if the world can understand this, only then can we slowly work toward any kind of solution. The rest is details, right out of the mouths of Hamas! For once they are correct.
39. abbas has a phd in denying the Shoah
jerry ,   nyc us   (04.28.11)
Fatah and Hamas are the same ideology just different tactics.
40. #34 SyrianFreedomEagle
Juliano ,   Italy   (04.28.11)
I agree with you 100%. Jews are the masters of deception.
41. #36 Isragirl
Juliano ,   Italy   (04.28.11)
Isragirl, I would rather have a Mullah as a leader than have a Rabbi who was arrested recently for sodomizing a bride to be...
42. well do ya b;ame them i'd prefer dog poop over israel if
masrawy ,   egypt   (04.28.11)
i had to
43. #37: No name, no country! ;-)
SyrianFreedomEagle   (04.28.11)
44. #42; masrawy, REALLY???
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (04.28.11)
Why don't you take a look at the polling. Do you thinks Arabs would rather live in Israel with all it's freedoms, under the Israeli government? Or would they prefer to live in Gaza, where wedding parties are killed for singing. But I have no doubt masrawy, you more likely prefer dog poop, blind hatred does that. I'm sure you would cut off your nose to spite your face. Brilliant!! BTW, How's your economy doing? Now that tourism is down (12% of your total economy) and you geniuses just blew up a major gas line to Jordan and Israel? According to the latest report I believe 2009 and I quote HERE: "The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has established expanding the Egyptian petrochemical industry and increasing exports of natural gas as its most significant strategic objectives and in 2009 about 38% of local gas production was exported" Wow do you have any other brilliant plans, or is "dog poop" your new goal? "Natural Gas as its MOST significant strategic objectives" Just keep shooting yourselves in the foot, that should help. Hating Israel will improve your economy, as we all can see, But as you say again, you prefer "dog poop", good luck with that!
45. To: No. 42
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.28.11)
I've been to Egypt several times, and I can tell you that in some of the places I've seen, dog poop qualifies as a Michelin four-star meal. No Michelin four-star restaurants in Israel, so I guess you'll have to stick with dog poop for dinner tonight. Bon appetit!
46. "we prefer Hamas to Israel"
William ,   Israel   (04.29.11)
Ok, let's talk again in a few months... when Israel stops passing on collected tax receipts and Hamas begins throwing you off of roof-tops.
47. "No Palestinian group is a terror organization in our eyes"
William ,   Israel   (04.29.11)
That's part of the damn problem right there.
48. #38 - agreed, everyone forgot what PLO agreed to...
William ,   Israel   (04.29.11)
in Oslo Accords and at Camp David in 2000, and that was no new settlements and allowable expansion of existing blocks due to natural growth, no more. Why no one, not even Israel, brings up that agreement which the PLO made and is now breaking, is beyond me.
