first of all, without a camera. email, internet access, etc, no phone could be called a smartphone. And second, i bought for my mom a 250 shekels nokia phone with the same specifications as this one, only with text messages, but no yiddish. This is all bs news.

is everyone that claims to be ultra-orthodox so weak that they may be induced to surf the net or send txt mssgs if the technology is handy. don't all the religious working people come into contact with computers and all the rest in their daily lives. it's really only the people who don't work to make a living and support themselves that probably don't have the technology...tuff on all of us. oy gevald indeed
5. 3david, "but no yiddish" ?
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.01.11)
and most probably no Hassidish songs. Sounds like a chickensoup without chicken.
6. Interesting
Yakov   (05.02.11)
At least there's another area where Yiddish is used. The phone looks to be suited to the Haredim. Why not have Yiddish available on other internet capable phones used by the rest of the country? Some may want to use Yiddish and still be secular.
