Nice that the Western democracies use their superior fire power to promote democracy in the Libyan part of the Arab world. Perhaps they should also consider using it against Saudi Arabia and Bahrain - two of the most oppressive regimes in the Middle East, rather than against innocent civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

#21 NATO is acting on an UN resolution (might not agree with it, but's it's legal). Do you remember a few years ago when we (Israel airforce) dropped thousand pound bombs in the middle of Gaza to eliminate a Hamas leader and killed innocent children and adults as well? While I understand your point, there's a difference. Let's not forget that Hamas had Israeli citizens in their crosshairs, and subjected innocent civilians to rocket attacks and bombings for years. The same can't be said for either the U.S. or Europe being attacked by Libya. And while no decent human being is going to defend Moammar Khadafy's crimes against his own people...he's certainly not the only barbaric leader, elected or otherwise, in the Arab world.

Just a couple of hours after midnight last night Al-Jazeera TV station broacast this piece of news about the death of Gaddafi's son & three grandsons,& immediately interviewed two Libyan opposition members . The two Libyans doubted the veracity of the news and challenged Gaddafi to show to the world the corpses of his slain kids.They added that Gaddafi is a mendacious,professional,malicious liar who uses these tricks to attract sympathy and to arouse public opinion against the UN-mandated NATO military campaign against him ! But assuming the news is true it should convey the clear message to him that is what he's going to get in return for the genocide campaign and slaughter he is carrying out against his people who are repeatedly making it clear they do not want him and his "revolution" . Poor selfish,egoistic beduin who has been suffering from megalomania from the moment he made the coup d'etat in late 1969.
