1. Mubarak's wealth
NYC Girl   (05.01.11)
Apparently, the fact that Mubarak may have made his money from a deal involving Israel is a far worse transgression than Yasser Arafat stealing money donated by governments and organizations that was supposed to be used to improve the lives of his people. Well, guess what? There isn't any damned difference. They were both corrupt bastards...and Arafat had a lot more innocent blood on his hands than Mubarak did.
2. Mubarak may have lied!!!!!
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (05.01.11)
Now no Arab leader would do that? But this why the other dictators, like Assad and Gaddafi will not surrender power. They would hang.
3. poetic justice
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (05.01.11)
Mubarak was one of Israel's bitterest, but smartest, foes. He was Arafat's main supporter, helping him get to the White House, giving him diplomatic support and weapons. His greatest victory was trying to take Israel's strategic weapons and delegitimizing Israel's existence at Durban. Now, his own people throw him out, like so much rotting garbage for being a collaborator with Israel. I think this is called poetic justice.
4. And that's Israel's fault? Corrupt Arab leaders dothemselves
JO   (05.01.11)
Might as well blame Israel for all Arab corruption. That he stole from his own people and enriched himself is not usual in many corrupt states, Arab and African have many such leaders, the West has more check and balances to make this extremely difficult to accomplish ( not to mention no autocratic rule)
5. to # 2
KO   (05.01.11)
the people will force them to clear, as in Yemen, and if necessary will call us using the nato. but in all cases Mubarak was the biggest fish for israel. for the United States is the Saudi Arabia, inchah allah Iit will fall, and may in the course of a war with Iran, because we the people we are at the coast of Iran and not Israel U.S.! and if the Saudi rulers or Amirats lend their territories to attack iran they are finished!

12. Mu-Barack is not their biggest problem now
Marco ,   Spain   (05.01.11)
Loss of tourism revenue, potential disruption of Suez canal traffic that are the biggest sources of income for the Egyptian economy. Add to this the likelihood of the stop of American aid and $1 billion from the stupid breaching of the Natural Gas agreement with Israel, and Egyptians will be longing for Mu-Barack's slightly better days.

But the "people" really don't care, do they Since Syria and Libya both don't help and the "people" want to overthrow them too. In fact Syria has aligned itsek with Irn and what good has it done Assad. So there is more going on than you understand. But why am I NOT surprised to hear you making threats of violence. That's the way of your sickening "people". Intimidation is all you understand. I would say help the West to wipr Iran off the map. Then you don't have to worry about their threats. Destroy them. Otherwise KO and his crowd will contiue to threaten you.
16. its just a perk of the job for all arab dictators & princes
zionist forever   (05.01.11)
Can anybody name an arab prince or dictator who isn't a billionare or at the very least a multi millionare and corrupt? Mubarak Assad Arafat The Jordanian monarchy The Gulf royals All senior members of the PA were on the take when Arafat was running the show. I wonder how quickly Arafats stolen billions would turn up if we threatened to kill Suha or Arafats other closest cronies unless they returned it.
