I don't think your FM was bluffing. He also says the "peace" treaty between our countries is basically finished......Hey pal, no problem, but we'll be taking back the Sinai if that's the case. You won't have any problem with that would you?

Had some very memorable times as young man in those dunes (mid 1970's)! Even ended up in 'Atlit' for a month because of it. Failed to report back to base on time....well you see...there was a very pretty girl involved and I was young in heaven.... Haven't been down the coast since. I guess it's all hotels and tourists. Used to be a mix of Israeli and European youngsters getting their 'sewing their ropes' so to say. Oh and the very friendly Bedouin who would sell stuff (use your imagination) to them for a few lira. Looks like we'll get it back. That's good.

It will be fun to watch all the Gazans making a run into freedom and all of the Egyptians freaking out and then wizz bang the Egyptians will close the border again! alternatively they can leave the border open and make Gaza part of Egypt and then they will get blamed for all of the problems there!
