GLENN ,   YUCAIPA,USA   (05.01.11)
2. BS. Hamas is ready for murder only.
Vardina   (05.01.11)
3. Yes, Arafat's Peace of the Grave
Marcel ,   Florida   (05.01.11)
Only a fool believes this and it seems Israel is filled with fools who will believe the lies of the evil Amalikites 'For surely I will command, And will sift the house of Israel among all nations,As grain is sifted in a sieve;Yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground. All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, Who say, ‘The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.’ Amos 9:9-10
4. Hamas ideology is Israel does not exsist
Gossipy247 ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (05.01.11)
You can not make peace with a organization that doesn't recognize Israel's right to exist. It is not possible! Hamas is a terrorist organization whose main goal is to hurt Israel. Hamas doesn't even give their own citizen a better life. They are just concerned with the destruction of the Jewish people and their land. When Hamas recognizes the value of human life and the well being of their citizen then thier won't be Hamas anymore and then maybe we could have a peaceful border.
5. Ways of feeling
Abraham Nachmias ,   Petach Tikva IL   (05.01.11)
How can somebody believe that we should care to know what a declared enemy of Israel thinks? Does the fact that he's got money make him different from all the other Jew haters? Pity that we help assasins look good!
6. who cares
(05.01.11)
who does he think he's kidding?
7. when hamas renonce israel destruction, if not no talk.
STEPHAN ,   YAFFO   (05.01.11)
8. 1967 borders don't exist
i. zwick ,   nyc   (05.01.11)
1967 "borders" are a non-starter. they don't exist anymore, they only existed from 1949-1967. There is no reason for Israel to retreat to those boundaries and give the land away to Arabs who stole it in 1948, evicted the Jews and denied them rights to visit their holy sites.
9. Ready? Lovely! Accept Israel's right to exist; cease all...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (05.01.11)
...acts of terror and violence against Israel and its citizens, and all preparations for such acts; adhere to all agreements with Israel already signed by the parties. This latest demand - all placed in front of Hamas by the entire international community, i.e. UN, US, EU, Russia and Israel - includes the de-militarization of Gaza!! P.S. And, of course, without having Gilad Shalit released without preconditions, little can be expected!!
10. this is all theater, ARABS back to Jordon will come
J1 ,   Earth   (05.01.11)
11. PLZ THINK ABOUT
Dr K M ,   GAZA   (05.01.11)
as usual i wont succumb to talk bout peace. it is my understanding and philosophy in this life. i ask all the israelis not to miss this oportunity to talk to hamas to get conclude to apeaceful bargain. you dont know know what does the future hold?:???!!!! stop being arrogant, be wise until which date you wish to walk in telaviv streets or jaffa and you are not sure whether you are coming back home safe. are you happy of this life?!!!!! if so, that is difficult. i wish to realize that we as well as you in need for security. so please think seriously about the peace and its sequences and the war, hostility and revenge and their sequences. looking forward to hearing from you jacob sons
12. Nobody is going to say they don't want peace
Sam ,   Canada   (05.01.11)
Everybody wants peace on their own terms. Palestinians aren't going to say they don't want peace when the West says it wants peace talks. The Palestinians are counting on the West making Israel hand over territory to them in return for some fancy speeches about peace. Let's hear the Palestinians publicly say that peace leaves Israel as a Jewish state and that is the end of the conflict with no more Palestinian demands.
13. TO NO 10
Dr K M ,   GAZA   (05.01.11)
I GUESS YOUR ARE AT THE DEEPEST STAGE OF YOUR DREAM BELIEVE ME THATS WILL NOT HAPPEN
14. Peace, really?
novel idea ,   Portland USA   (05.01.11)
Do you suppose Israel's opposition to reconciliation between Palestine's political factions is an indication that it prefers the status quo and is not interested in a true peace agreement?
15. pre- 1967 Borders are a sucker deal
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (05.01.11)
They didn't work then, they won't work now, First they were called "Armistice Line", then "Greenline", then pre-1967, no matter what you called them, they never worked Let's be realistic, discuss the present borders, post '1967, they're more or less effective
16. Nothing New
Ron ,   OC, US   (05.01.11)
Hamas has always said that they would take a temporary cease fire for a return to 67 borders. Not worth a penny. If Egypt can break its treaty just think what hamas would do with a worthless scrap of paper. Even if Egypt were to keep the treaty, just think what hamas would do with a worthless scrap of paper. And, for a terrorist entity that took 100 to 1 casualties in the last war and economically dependent on Israel and the UN dole they are in no position to dictate anything.
17. Livni is STILL a myopic, leftist destroyer of Israel;
Robert Blum ,   New York USA   (05.01.11)
Their Qoran teaches them (and us) that no agreement with Jews is binding. Rather, it is one of convenience for Muslims, as a stepping stone to gain further power and land; a stepping stone toward their ultimate goal, which is stated in Hamas/Fatah Charter, what being, the annihilation of Israel and the murder of ALL Jews. Visit www.TheReligionOfPeace.com understand better what people, loosely speaking, Israel is up against.
18. Armistice lines are not borders!
Nick ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (05.01.11)
The borders were fixed in 1922. We were invaded in 1948 and barely held on to a fraction of the land designated as the Jewish National Home. We were about to be invaded again in 1967, but at that time we had enough people who understood history and law and were motivated to fight. We won. We didn't conquer in 1967, we merely regained what was supposed to have been peacefully ceded to us by International law. If we can ever have a truly democratic system here, where the majority decides, we will survive. If we remain as we are, it's an absolute fact that all of Israel will be taken over by an ideology that is so hostile to any form of Jewish life (except that of dhimmitude) that even the radical Left will be treated the way they currently treat religious Nationalists. Tough choices, especially since most of the world is being consumed by an intolerant ideology whose history is not very pretty.
19. Peace if Israel returns to 1967 borders
miri ,   israel   (05.01.11)
Don't believe it ! They want us in the sea ! Arik Sharon uprooted our brothers living near Gaza causing them much suffering and the consequences proved nil. Why should we relinquish the land that we fought and bled for and won ? No land concessions for peace !
20. Just tactical smoke and mirrors
Ehoop ,   UK   (05.01.11)
No mention of recognition? "Comprehensive" agreement? Don't make me laugh. It's just a tactical pause in the implementation of Hamas' bloodthirsty plan, put there for Baroness Ashton's benefit.
21. 1967 borders yes but after six days war
Dani ,   Amsterdam NL   (05.01.11)
Pals need to understand that if they like peace as we did they must renounce to Jerusalem and '67 borders are not applicable. Several time Israel was attacked by Arabs forces not time is coming to make peace. As war reparation we keep the borders like are today.
22. Why cite every nonsense, when you know it's a lie?
KT   (05.01.11)
23. Et Voila, same lady different dress.
tanya ,   tel aviv israel   (05.01.11)
24. please, do not believe such lies

25. jeff@israph.com
Jeff Broude ,   Australia   (05.01.11)
Wow a Palestinian billionaire. Something does not make sense. Please show me some other billionaires in Refugee camps. Or is this a quirk of the poor Palestinian lie. Cool while the EU and the rest of the fools send the Poor refugees your tax money. How blind are those who wont see
26. Mideast Resolution Plan#27
Tyler ,   Glendale,USA   (05.01.11)
Hamas is named after a bean. A staple of food. Egypt will open the border soon. The gaza area will have more. More people will mean more people who are fine with blowing others up because god wants them to or because the other side is being aggressive. Each will fight and weaken eachother. Onother will enter the area laying a path of waste that destroys them both. Then they all will be sitting in what ever heaven or hell they go to saying "We shouldn't have beat each other down so much,"
27. Yes J1 A theater of the "absurd".. ARABS To Jordan where
Jim Jones ,   USA   (05.01.11)
They really belong.Enough with their shenanigans..A bilioner...wow..Wonder how he got to be one...I agree with Jehuda Qatzrin.. All sounds loverly...They have still NOT recognized Israel's existence.. I for one care not one way or another..But it is the principle of the matter.. Funny when their existence is a fairy tale composed since 1962 by the rat arafat..And are not a legitimate entity,BOTH.Be it Fatah..or the rest of the TERRORIST BUNCH.. As for borders:There is ONLY AN ARMISTIST LINE..Border be damned. .We then have the incarceration of Gilad...Problems,problems for them. Who are nothing but roosters hoping they will achieve the IMPOSSIBLE.
28. Hamas-Fatah fantasy
Brod ,   USA   (05.01.11)
Israel can tell Hamas-Fatah to go to Hell for their 1967 fantasy. The Land of Israel belongs to Israel since ancient time. It is not up to Hamas-Fatah Islamist-Jihadist usurpers and belligerents to set the condition to Israel. If they want to seek peace with Israel, they should abandon their koranic god that tells them to hate and destroy Israel. They should learn to know the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that gave humanity the Ten Commandments and to live peacefully with Israel without trying to usurp the Land of Israel from the Jewish Nation (Israel).
