Fodder for news stories. Big business and gas pipelines is the topic.
2. Good to see that Bibi and Bambi kissed and made up.

3. Okay, thank you "unity agreement"
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.05.11)
The ersatz "Palestinians" can have their "state." Of course, thanks to the ill-thought "unity agreement," that "state" is now going to be Gaza. Forget Judea and Samaria. That's Israel's, it was NEVER going to be anything but annexed by Israel, and the ersatz "Palestinians" have unwittingly solved Israel's issue with repatriating West Bank Arabs to Jordan (which is, after all, their country of citizenship). Israel is going to send all Arabs resident in Judea and Samaria to Gaza, where they can "build" their ersatz "Palestinian state." Tee hee. Two birds; one stone. LOVE IT!!
4. Thank him for what?

The Iron Dome anti-missile system and the Arrow 3 system are bankrolled by US tax payers, not Obama.

6. The timing of the reconciliation is suspicious.
JayB   (05.05.11)
I fear that the Pakistanis gave up Bin Laden to Obama in exchange for some major deal. They must have known where he was, and they must have known there was a battle going on, but did not intervene. A deal must have been made beforehand, and the Palis alerted that now was the time to kiss and make up, before the raid, so that the stage could be set for UN action etc. Threats will follow, but keep in mind that the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Judea and Samaria is Israel-for sure. What will happen if Bibi does not annex Judea and Samaria and give the Pallies East Jerusalem?
LT COL HOWARD ,   Washington DC   (05.05.11)
Before being sweet talked by Obama, Clinton, or Tony Blair, remember the firm pledge that these countries and the UN would not to permit Hezbollah to rearm. Now Hezbollah has approximately 50,000 advanced missiles and an extensive network of fortifications from which to fire them. Many of these firing positions are in schools, disabled peoples centers, hospitals, etc. the US has done nothing to stand behind its promises to Israel on this matter. Both Obama and Clinton lied to Israel when they denied the letter from Bush and its confirmation by both houses of Congress. When caught lying they do not apologize. If it makes it slightly easier for the world, then the governments of England, France, Germany and the US would gladly throw “Israel under the bus”. Unfortunately liberal Jews such as B'tselem in Israel and J St. and the new Israel fund in the United States seem dedicated to undermine the Netanyahu government on narrow partisan political grounds.

The Obamas paid $1,792,414 in federal income tax. How much are paid taxes, very silly indeed

President Obama is hoping that Netanyahu will be ready with possible gestures to the Palestinians while the palestinians are giving the finger to netanyahu and obama they made a unity deal and ignored oslo and the [reconditions for peace and also are going to declare a state unilateraly while egypt is moving closer to iran and to reversing camp david mr obama is expecting netanyahu to make more concessions to the PA what ??? i am totally shocked regarding the funding of the iron dome batteries obama agreed to make the funds in exchange for restraint policy in the face of the threat of rockets from gaza for example after netanyahu refused to respond harshly to rocket fire last month obama called him and thanked him for his restraint policy and for not defending the state of israel and defeating terror obama is a disaster and he has brought netanyahu down and made him his puppet so netanyahu must resign after failing to build in judea and samaria and in jerusalem and after freezing 7500 units there and after failing to threaten the PA with harsh outcome if they declared the state and of course after failing to defend israel and defeat the terror from gaza due to obama orders !!!!!!!!! shalom
14. #7 Hopefully Bibi will remember what happened with PM Sharon
Chaim   (05.05.11)
and be more concerned about his Jewish brothers than about Arabs who have no reason to live in Israel in the first place because they have 22 states of their own, besides Eurorabia.

16. Netanyahu the loser
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (05.05.11)
Obama doesn't give him the light of day, humiliates him and treats him like a piece of garbage. But suddenly, when Netanyahu goes to talk to the American people, Obama summons Netanyahu to make sure that he doesn't say something that will anger Obama. The sad thing is that, unlike Abbas, Netanyahu doesn't have the dignity to tell Obama no.
17. Will this be another opportunity to insult Netanjahu and the
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (05.05.11)
people who have voted for him? Let us hope Obama, this time, will use the phrase "two-states for two-peoples" instead of a "two-state solution". The first recognizes the Jewish people as a people entitled, based on the universally accepted right to national self-determination and independence. The second, doesn't recognize the Jewish people as a people - as is the Muslim-Arab world - thus not entitled to an independent state, contrary to decisions by the San Remo Conference, the League of Nations, and the United Nations.
18. Israels Friend ??
Jimmy Howard ,   Chu Lai Viet Nam   (05.05.11)
You can bet your life that on a personal level the President of the USA is no friend to Israel or Jews.

Oh, Judea and Samaria are going to be annexed -- would have been annexed even without the "unity agreement." Israel's security depends on it. The Arabs resident in Judea and Samaria would have been repatriated to Jordan -- they are, after all, citizens of Jordan -- but now things will go much more easily. The ersatz "Palestinians" have Gaza -- "unity"" government" and all -- and West Bank Arabs can go there. Israel is not going to have a situation similar to "East Pakistan" and "West Pakistan." The ersatz "Palestinians" were offered 90 percent of the West Bank and East Jerusalem as a capital in 2000. The offer was rejected in favor of starting the second intifada. That offer is off the table -- the ersatz "Palestinians" have "unity" and Gaza. Going to be a little crowded there, but that's their problem; not Israel's. Jerusalem belongs to the State of Israel -- East, West, North and South. That will never change.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.05.11)
The post at No. 4 is not mine but, frankly, I am not all that impressed. I paid more in both federal and New York State taxes, plus I pay taxes in Israel. Your point?
22. Netanyahu is a shameless lapdog
Rachel ,   US   (05.05.11)
The man has no conviction or pride whatsoever. Who knows what he might agree to because he has no backbone to say no. Totally shameless.
23. Obama knows Israel has more support in the US Congress.
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (05.05.11)
The White House knows that Israel gets broad support among the US populace and through their representatives in Congress. Obama couldn't take a chance that Netanyahu could lay out a position before a receptive Congress that he would then have to work against. Given that most of the policy options given to the President begin "Pressure Israel to ...", no doubt he wants to go over Netanyahu's proposed speech beforehand and tell him "No, that's not acceptable". And Netanyahu will cave, as he often does. It's why, despite the end of the building freeze, almost nothing is being built.

"We accepted the UN Res., but the Arabs did not...They are preparing to make war on us. If we defeat them and capture western Galilee or territory on both sides of the road to Jerusalem, these areas will become part of the state. Why should we obligate ourselves to accept boundaries that in any case the Arabs don't accept?" Ben-Gurion, May 12, 1948 What's different now???

Any who assume to divide Israel are walking into a minefield and not peace. America is already under judgment for this treachery and evil deed against the Israel of God.

27. US Pres Has Nothing To Do With This

Other than possibly mediating, there should be no US involvement in the. This is strictly an Israeli issue. Israel is *NOT* part of the US!

That you want to deny the fact that the Jews have a connection to their homeland is usual. Now you are trying to deny the connection of the Samaritan people to their homeland? Let me help you: read the Koran. Tell me how many times Israel is mentioned and how many times "palestine" or "palestinian" is mentioned. The answer to the second question is 0.
