Since this guy was sent abroad the country has been left with a huge hole in its security.......realy, he does more for his country by representing us in a good light around the world than if was selling Tami bars in a shekem. Do me a favour you wallies!

then go to jail. Other celebs pull strings to get out of military service but Evgeni Krasnopolsky serves his country with two years service behind him and gets arrested when the skating authorities screw up! What a bloody disgrace!

rafaeli or portman. Or the thousands of hara-dim, leftists and others that avoid army service. How many young women get married and have a rug rat to avoid service? Why just him? Everyone that does not serve should be locked up for years. Either do your army service or do prison time with hard labor.
8. #3 Morons does a disservice to Morons
Jonny ,   South Africa   (05.05.11)
Worse then Morons. I hope that whoever gave the order gets his/her marching orders and drummed out of the service. The imbecile who ordered the arrest disgraced even the Millitary Police.
9. Two Sides to the Story, and a Simple Solution
EGGM ,   Petah Tikva, Israel   (05.05.11)
On the one hand, soldiers recognized by the IDF as Excellent Sportsmen generally allow themselves to do whatever they want in the army, including disobey orders, go AWOL, etc. On the other hand, the country needs these people, and serious military service would deal a severe blow to their careers. The solution to this dilemma isn't as difficult as it may seem. What the army needs to do is create its own sports teams, trainers, etc. and for some sports, employ the trainers part-time so that they can have civilian careers. Theoretically, something like this already exists and the army participates in team sports—but in practice, these teams can never reach the same level as the professional national leagues, let alone international. In the Red Army, creating and training their own teams was a great success, so why not here?
10. #7 you're wrong!

Natalie Portman should not have been included in your list of draft dodgers. She moved from Israel to the United States when she was three years old (not her decision).
