alexi   (05.05.11)
israel should not change its supplier of oil since egypt wants to double its price. Moreover, israel should not make any concessions to its treaties with egypt in terms of allowing more troops in sinai than the treaty permits. Egypt is pushing and israel has to push back. Bibi should be very cautious because barak is a scared rabbit and will try to offer egypt every concession. How did this guy ever become a general, I don't understand it. Sharon had more grit in one finger than barak has.

7. More transport mismanagement!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (05.05.11)
Trains catch fire, derail and have very near misses. Planes have near misses and now problems with the jet fuel. Ben Gurion airport has been down graded because of deficiencies in flight safety. Something is very wrong in the Ministry of Transport so where is Minister Israel Katz who has till not told us why the signs announcing the train service to Karmiel in 2016 have been covered with black plastic! The Chinese built an entire rail network in 8 years for the Olympic Games and we can't even build a 21 Km train line in nearly ten years. One would think that in our inflated Government Ministers would have the time to do their job instead of making political statements which should be left to the Prime Minster!

BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (05.05.11)
It wasn't an unknown substance, it was contaminated oil that the filters failed to remove That's why if you have a car, they have both oil and gas filters on it However, in your case, they would have to figure out how to figure out jackass contamination You may now return to playing your game of pocket pool

You forgot to mention the Tel-Aviv to Bat-Yam tram system from Shderot Yerushalayim that turned out to be another total failure. Something is really wrong with the Ministry of Transport!
13. Disaster will happen
Ian ,   Israel   (05.05.11)
Only matter of time before there is a major aviation disaster in Israel. But who ever the idiots are that are confiscating cameras from photography students,at Ben Gurion, give it up, you are making fools out of yourselves and giving this country an even worse name.

17. Noticed a week ago?
Wade ,   NYC US   (05.05.11)
Does it mean that planes were leaving with bad fuel for a whole week before the grounding? Was there a risk that a B747 with 350 passengers would experience engine failure above the Atlantic? far from any emergency airfield? This is scary! On the other hand, since no emergencies occurred to the hundreds of flights during the week, maybe the problem is exaggerated?
18. :-O Please fix this!
Line Singer ,   Århus, Denmark   (05.05.11)

Rachel ,   US   (05.05.11)
What's the deal with Israel half azzzness? If you see a problem fix it, don't wait for a disaster. Reminds me of the wedding video in which the whole floor collapsed while people were dancing.
21. This was sabotage
Eliezer ,   Jerusalem   (05.05.11)
As a professional engineer who has designed and engineered major refineries world wide I can unequivocally state that this contamination is sabotage. The Jet Fuel produced in the refineries is constantly tested prior to despatch to the pipeline from the storage tanks and this problem would have been identified at the refineries. It was not at the production end but during the transportation in the pipeline that this occured, possibly at the intermediate pumping stations, which could have been tampered with. Filters that clog up should have been fitted with a high pressure alarm to indicate this problem, - were they. Furthermore, were the filters changed/maintained according to the manufacturers recommendations or was this neglected? Clearly we are dealing with a major problem that could also affect gasoline and diesel if the intermediate pumping facilities were tampered with in any way. How about some internationally experienced chemical/process engineers being appointed to the enquiry committtees.
22. the problem
Dan   (05.05.11)
The problem is the minister. For years the status of Ben Gurion is that of category 2, like African countries. WHAT HAS HE DONE? NOTHING AT ALL
23. #18 I agree with HaAretz
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (05.05.11)
Now we have to find a way of removing the contamination from your head C'mon, give me my daily laugh, pretend to be an advocate for the Palestinian’s; you made such a fool of yourself You remind me of the old story, a fellow got a parking ticket, he told his Lawyer cousin about it, the cousin claimed he would get it cancelled, it didn't work, next step was the State Supreme Court, they also rejected the appeal, next step was the U.S. Supreme Court, and they also rejected the Appeal As the Defendant was being strapped in the electric chair, he pleaded "Pay the two dollars" Reminds me of you, a born loser, it doesn’t matter what the subject is

25. Reminds me of the Hyatt Regency
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (05.05.11)
The Hyatt Regency hotel walkway collapse was a collapse of a walkway that occurred on July 17, 1981, in Kansas City, Missouri, United States, killing 114 people and injuring 216 others[1] during a tea dance. At the time, it was the deadliest structural collapse of U.S. history
