The fact the trial was secret is enough to warrant a new trial. There is NO excuse for secret trials in any nation which calls itself a democracy.
Publicly available evidence, including testimony from women in Katsav's office that it was widely known Katsav had a fully consensual affair with the plaintiff, casts huge doubt on Katsav's guilt.
It seems the trial was orchestrated for the benefit of feminists and leftists, who bayed for Katsav's blood before the trial even began.
Now, on top of all this, the disgraceful public release of only the prosecution's side of the trial.
Katsav's trial was a disgrace and farce. He deserves a new, fair, public trial. Those who fixed Katsav's trial should be put on trial themselves.
