3. Earth calling #1 petr vojta - Hello, anyone home?
CK Tan ,   Singapore, Singapore   (05.06.11)
It's time to come back to the REAL world instead of the PARALLEL one that you are inhabiting. There's a bridge at Brooklyn for SALE and you are just the RIGHT person to own it. Hello, hello, anybody home?
4. Natural allies.
Jules   (05.06.11)
The USA and Israel are NATURAL allies: both are liberal democracies and technological powerhouses, with strong military forces and respect to human rights. That bond must be unbreakable, regardless of any political winds.
5. Opinions are like a**holes...everyone's got one.
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (05.06.11)
6. To no 3
petr vojta ,   prag   (05.06.11)
Minimum you can do is to folow the facts and do you own research while internet is still free, if you are not able to collect history books and records. Being ruth is sign of desperation without any reasonble argument. petr
7. Czech your own history
rivka ,   usa   (05.06.11)
The Czechs were flourishing under the boots of the Soviets, willing and happy to commit any fraud and treason against their own citizens - while licking the boots of the USSR and brutal communist KGB regime. Did we hear any "smart" remarks from you when Russia illegally invaded GEORGIA? No, of course not, because Czechoslowakia is still licking the boots of it's Kremlin masters.
8. # 7 Specialist for Central Europe
Jarda ,   Czech Republic   (05.06.11)
Do you know that Czechoslovakia doesn't exist since 1993? Means almost 20 years.
9. No mention of Cain???
Briana ,   Savannah, USA   (05.06.11)
I would like to know why this article does not mention Herman Cain. ALL polls showed that Cain won this debate. I'm disappointed there is not one mention of this man. Shame on ynetnews.
10. Important to Note (sipping TEA)
Gideon Reader ,   USA   (05.06.11)
U.S.Rep Ron Paul (R-Tx) does NOT, repeat NOT!!, represent the "intellectual heart, soul, or any other body part or manifestation", of the amorphous TEA Party. The TEA party is not a political party, but a collection of independent, individuals who may agree on a series of elements referring to taxation issues and the flagrant wasteful spending of taxpayer's funds, smaller transparent national government with reduced corruption, and adherence to the Constitution and it's rights and demands by which the United States were formed. There is NO TEA Party "Leader". No TEA Party platform. No TEA Party. NO one speaks for or on behalf of the TEA party which has no official membership or platform. Idead. Just some excellent ideas that are the same as those of the nations founders. Ron Paul? Think of him as Yariv Oppenheimer . There but of no particular importance or significance.
11. Yitzhak Benhorin: Ron Paul 2012
Jake R ,   Belmond, IA   (05.06.11)
I just wanted to comment that, despite what people seem to be saying about Ron Paul not being a front-runner, in a recent CNN poll, he placed highest among those who would be able to defeat Obama. That's about Huckabee, Pawlenty or anyone else. I think he's a very serious candidate, and I hope I"ll be able to vote for him.
12. Ron Paul is an idiot! Watch this...
Maurice ,   Montreal   (05.06.11)
Just watch this video from the reality movie Bruno: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7RnlPQCKBQ&feature=related

Andrew ,   Miami, USA   (05.06.11)
YEP - I SAID IT - AND I MEAN IT. ISRAEL WILL HAVE TO STAND ON ITS OWN. WHEATHER IT LIKES IT OR NOT. AMERICANS ARE SICK OF GIVING SO MUCH MONEY TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES - ALL OF THEM - INCLUDING ISRAEL

15. GOOD. That applies also to the staggering 25 billion to ARAB
JORDAN ,   IS EAST PALESTINE   (05.06.11)
& Muslims countries that the US gives in direct aid every year, which is about 10x what the US gives it's best ally. Israel was pressured to retreat from territory 3x itsd size in the Sinai, and in southwest Syria because of US pressure. the 2-3 billion in aid to Israel was a direct result of the sinai peace accords with egypt. Israel could have been energy independent if it kept the oil rich sinai.
16. #1, #6 and #8
Jorge ,   Israe/USA/Argentina   (05.06.11)
Provide constructive comments. Czech is a friendly country to Israel. Do not alter that image with your antiSemitic comments. Czechoslovakia was formed after WWI, and splitted first time in 1938 (by a crazy loser). Then you became puppet of the nazis and did all what #1 is talking against the own people and Jewish. After the WWI you became puppet of the Soviet Union until 1989. 4 years later you became a split country becuase the Soviet Union dissapair. In 2011 there are 2 antiSemitc guys writing in a Jewish newspaper. telling us what to do. Jarda and Peter, we will not accept more orders from nazis so do not waster your time and move on. We love Czech do not make us change our mind
17. #10 Exactly correct!
Claudia ,   Tampa USA   (05.06.11)
The Paul's, father and son, appeal to the Tea Party members is based only on their small government, reduced spending ideology. I am a member of the Tea Party Patriots and 912 Project and WE are not anti-Israel. We support Israel both in idealogy and aid. The "Media" bias is obvious against all of us as they are hell bent on smearing our purpose because they simply do not agree with the US Constitution. Time to take down the liberal stranglehold on academic's in America! I equate it to the same kind of brainwashing that goes on with Islam and Marxism. It has no place in free societies. Teaching freedom is not on their agenda, and that must stop now.
18. As long as the US stops funding and arming our enemies..
E ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (05.06.11)
then Israel can stop taking US money and get this settled for Israel's interests, NOT US interest. Paul does not seem against Israel, but rather for letting all of these countries determine their fate. He had stated in 2008 debate that the US is not a very good friend to Israel.
19. #3 & #6: petr, FOLLOW YOUR ADVICE
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (05.06.11)
petr writes: "Minimum you can do is to folow[sic] the facts" Follow your own advice, what facts did you introduce, None! All you did, was make a bunch of baseless accusations, unsupported by any examples or facts. It seems the desperation is on your part. Heck all you did was spout some Arab propaganda that you read somewhere. Then when somebody called you o it, did you come back with any proof to support your claims, Nope! Your just a puppet reciting what somebody else said, unable to think for yourself. Next time you accuse a country of foul play, back it up with facts From those "history" books you claim exist.
20. Stop the misinformation!!
Tom ,   USA   (05.06.11)
Ron Paul is an independent Libertarian, considered as "kook" in Conservative circles and has gotten nothing to do with the Tea Party. This reference is coming from the Jstreet people - most likely the author's favorites - because R. Paul antisemitism is a great tool to smear the Tea Party. You forgot Sarah Palin pro Israel stand? She's the real Tea Party Lady not R. Paul. The Soros financed anti-Israeli propagandists are getting boring and they invade every Israeli forums.
21. To #20 Tom: YNET is J-Street!
David ,   New York   (05.06.11)
22. #13 Andrew
David ,   America   (05.06.11)
It is very sad but true. You are probably right. The next election will show if you are. However, if you are correct then it means only one thing. The good ole US of A has fallen and is under Judgment. To turn your back on Eretz Israel is to turn your back on the Almighty! Blessed be He! Kiss your children and grand children good bye while you have the chance.
23. Foreign aid
Joe ,   St Louis usa   (05.06.11)
About 1/2 of 1 per cent of the budget, and almost all of it is sent on US products, so it comes right back. AND saves the US from having to create expensive military presence in many dangerous places. As for standing alone: US relies on Israel for intelligence, destroying Syrian nuclear reactors, new technologies (military and civilian) and a dozen other things. None of us stand alone, nor should we. People who object to foreign aid are avoiding serious budget questions with easy and nonsensical rhetoric.

joe, your post should read, and almost all of it is spent on us products--not sent. of course, you are correct.
27. #26, thank you. typo: I'm still pre-coffee today
joe ,   st louis usa   (05.06.11)
28. I partly again with Ron Paul
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (05.06.11)
We do not need any money from America, if they also end all aid to the Arabs. We will remain good friends regardless, and we have and will continue to supply the US with our advanced weapons technology.
29. U.S. financial aid is a burden for Israel. Not a benefit.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.06.11)
Ron Paul is correct. U.S. financial aid is a burden for Israel. Not a benefit. It's cost to Israel's independence and economy are crushing. Many times, Israel has been stopped from bidding on contracts (especially military contracts) due to U.S. pressure, backed possible aid cuts. Israel is best to continue our economic growth without U.S. aid. Moreover, accepting U.S. aid gives some American leaders the feeling they can boss Israel around. This is a serious matter. For many reasons, Israel would be far better off without U.S. financial aid.
30. Cutting off "aid" to Israel a good idea.
USA   (05.06.11)
Just do the same to Egypt and other Arabs states. Israel must be captain of it's own ship. Also abort the Palestinian state that USA is pregnant with.
