If all Israelis had to do some form of national service, whether military or civil, they would feel a greater connection to the state.
They would object in the beginning, but it would draw the people closer together through a shared experience.
There can be no national or religious objection to doing good for the people in a form of civilian service.

They should also conduct this survey among Israelis who left the country. It will show, I predict, that the largest group of emigrants, the secular Israelis, would consider returning if religion was separated from the State permanently. The contradiction of a modern, progressive, democratic State and religion that stifles all of this cannot go on.

As a mater of fact in the golus you will be ingnored by fellow Jews.
To all the Jews who love being in Israel...Mazel Tov and Best Wishes.
