Tell the palestinians straight if you declare statehood unilaterally the EU will not recognise it. If both the US and EU go on the record now and say no recognition and no support for the bid and we will block it in the UN then Abbas is going to sit this one out. Talk for image purposes between now and September making no real effort to reach a negotiated solution then come September say Israel is not cooperating so we will go this alone. Bypass talks hope he can get international support for all his demands so he doesn't have to negotiate because negotiate means BOTH sides make concessions. The arabs want to take all and give nothing in exchange. There needs to be a united stance on this issue before September so everybody knows where things stand.

Now simply force your new unity government to accept Israel's right to exist, Renounce all forms of violence, renounce all forms of incitement and sit down and talk peace without preconditions. Pretty simple really. Why is it, you guys can't even do those simple things? You could have had a State 63 years ago but racism and hatred won out over logic and coexistence. Even if you have a real State, it will soon be destroyed if you keep up your terrorist ways, and from the corruption and tribal hatred inside.

It was also built on land that was mostly purchased or already owned by Jews. Israel didnot make a declaration of Statehood based on destroying another population nor did so on stolen land. Conversely, "Palestinians" are demanding a State on land they ethnically cleansed of Jews in 1948 (which they want repeated) and to offer no compensation, they refuse to end aggression against a neighboring State, and finally they demand ALL of their "refugees" to return to Israel rather than their new State. That's not a recipe for self-determination and growth of a population, it's a recipe for future war. Having a State means you have a place to call home and build it, not a platform to destroy other States around you.
