No need to be puzzled: When the people of Jaffa use the term the "right of return" they don't use it in the narrow sense, but they mean two things: 1. The right of return of millions of Palestinians abroad. 2. The "return" to days where Jaffa and the rest of Palestine belonged to their rightful owners.

I guess Israel is the only country in the world where there is discrimination against a minority, right? It's unfortunate that there are some levels of discrimination and some politicians who are openly hostile to the Israeli Arabs but don't for a second think that these Israeli Arabs would rather live in another country in the Middle East or want an Arab government to replace the current one. It's nice to see them exercising their right t protest while enjoying health care, job opportunities, access to education, pensions, etc. Israel has enough internal social problems to deal with and eventually they will address them all, including the Israeli Arabs but why should Israelis trust people who wear the symbols of those sworn to kill them?
