1. Mofaz is right
Rachel ,   US   (05.16.11)
Netanyahu is a spineless coward. He has no convictions that won't change with a couple days of pressure. These are dark days for Israel with Bibi/Barak at the helm. Israel deserves so much better.
2. Mofaz, Livni,
CC   (05.16.11)
indeed the whole left of center is in panicy hysteria. Are they only pretending to be totally stupid or REALLY are?! The PA's planned September gamble is nothing less than delusional mirage seen from a rational and sane vantage point that has absolutely no danger at all for Israel!!! Are these people psychotic???!
3. To Rachel, No. 1
Gabe Yakmore ,   Canada   (05.16.11)
What are you suggesting ? Is Jewish spring in the air ?
4. Why is Netanyahu Afraid ?
Marcel ,   Florida   (05.16.11)
The more Israels' leaders give in to the demands of pseudo friend and foe the more is required. In this suckers game of international proportions Israel is the mark. Sadly it's the only game which Israel's failed, secular 'loser' leadership knows how to play. To please her Washington masters Israel's puppets know they have to give in or what keeps them propped up will be removed. Fear guarantees Netanyahu will always give in to the slightest pressure because he is not a fighter but a yes man. Only yes men/women are permitted to rule in Israel Eventually this Jewish exercise in appeasement and weakness will have to end because there will be no more to give. Instead of trusting in God Israel puts great confidence in her political class of liars and spineless cowards who stand for nothing in believe only in their large ego's. A few months ago Prime Minister Netanyahu wrote a personal letter to President H. Obama asking for the release of convicted spy Jonathan Pollard who has been under cruel and unusual punishment in the U.S. for 25 years now. The always capitulating and giving in to U.S. pressure Prime Minister was ignored completely . Israel has come to accept this sort of abuse and never stands up and resists the hypocricy and double standard because Israel suffers from a crisis of Faith. The secular and faithless Jews who rule Israel to ruin do not have the strength of God to lean on and so they are weak and fearful and their fear drips from every pore of their body.Everyone can see it. Eventuall their Ehud Barak stragety of retreat (from South Lebanon)and failure (to defeat Hamas) and targeting the faithful Jewish settlers for abuse to appease their evil masters will come to an end. The Netanyahu,Barak policy of 'maximum restraint ' towards the Nabka invaders is not practiced towards fellow Jews who oppose national suicide to please the false god America Babylon Israel so devotedly worships.
5. i dont trust mofaz for a second; feiglin>lieberman>bibi
Yaawqove ,   Israel   (05.16.11)
6. Likud Constitution & Israelis vs. Two State Final Solution.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.16.11)
Thre is no way of squaring Likud's patriotic Constitution with the deadly Two State Final Solution. Bibi's advisors, in Likud, are completely correct on that score. Moreover, the vast majority of Israelis also reject the Two State Final Solution, which would trim Israel's waist to a suicidal 8 miles (15 minute tank ride). Bibi has no mandate nor right to cede a square inch of Israel.
7. #2. The left always looks for excuses to give away Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.16.11)
#2 CC. You make an excellent point. In reality, a "Palestinian" declaration of fictional statehood has no real meaning. "Palestinians" have already declared fictional statehood and it was a complete fiasco. Moreover, conditions were far more favorable the last time. There were only about 300,000 Jews in Judea and Samaria than. Today there are about 700,000, including Jerusalem. Sarah Honig, writing in the Jerusalem Post, has clearly analyzed what the left is all about. They create scarecrows, like Abbas, in order to give them our land. The PLO/PA was moribund till Shimon Peres rescued it. The left spents all it's energy looking for excuses to give away Israel. That's the terrible truth.
8. Netanyahu is following the Likud way of duplicity
uzitiger ,   Ramat Gan   (05.16.11)
they say they are right wing and hawkish on defense while acting worse than Labor in giving Jewish land away.
9. Two complex questions
Gideon Reader ,   USA   (05.16.11)
Two complex questions scream loudly for answers. a) Why does anyone subscribe to the economic - social philosophies of Socialism, which has, as history shows us, has miserably failed everywhere it has been tried outside of the family unit ? And,... b) Why does anyone bother with the corrupt and cowardly phantom chase after a real and enduring peace with those who call themselves "Palestinians"; doomed to fail based on the presumption that Tiqiya (Lying Tactically for political purposes) is known to be a sham and a lie; a fact known to everyone involved with it? If you give me those answers, I'll ask about a decent place to get Chili.
10. To # 3 Gabe
Rachel ,   US   (05.16.11)
No, don't see a Jewish spring yet. Just believe that Bibi/Barak are the worst duo Israel could have during these times. You add them both together and they don't make 1 man.
11. To Rachel, No 10
Gabe Yakmore ,   Canada   (05.16.11)
Yes, Rachel, but who will stop them from giving away Judea and Samaria ?
12. No new elections
Rachel ,   US   (05.16.11)
I wouldn't want new elections because Obama and the EU would move heaven and Earth to make sure Kadima won. I wouldn't be too upset if Bibi resigned and Moshe Yaalon took over. I know I'm in dream land.
13. 12
birdi ,   israel   (05.17.11)
Rachel i see you have absolutely no confidence in the israeli voters. from where i sit, if bibi tries to give judea & samaria back with east jerusalem, we here in israel, will have cival war. lol @ ''obama and the eu would move heaven and earth to make sure kadima won'' we on the right have learnt in the last few years to voice our opinions and objections. committing political suicide we wont do. bibi will not resign, hopefully moshe yaalon will win our next elections. its all up to us, the citizens of israel. yes, dear rachel, you are living in dream land, its called the USA.
14. @13 Birdi, what about Lieberman? He's not too shabby.
