If I understand you correctly, Israel is to make all the sacrifices. Israel is to give up land that were captured as the result of being attacked. The arabs do not have to give up any land for their palestinian brethens. I don't think so Mr. president and I can wait unitl we the American people vote you out next year.

Here's reality - There will be no billions in taxpayer funding appropriated by Congress to bankroll Egypt and other "emerging" Arab democracies without strict terms demanding and enforcing that Egypt scrupuloisly and stricly follow its peace treaty with Israel, including shutting off all weapon smuggling across demilitiarized Sinai into Gaza, coordinating all crossing across Philadelphi with Israeli wishes, ending demonization of israel in its press actions, and dialing back - way back - its dealings with Iran, including strict observance of sanctions. Or no money, not even what they already get. And there's not a thing Obama can do about that, except to go along with Congressional restrictions. With joblessness rising in every Congressional district, Obama will have little luck sending billions to Egypt to create jobs, and Egypt is going to have to respond to Congress' demands - or get nothing.

Whoa, there, Mr. Obama. The '67 borders are no longer relevant. That was some.....44 years ago! A lot has changed since then. There never was a Palestinian people. They are merely Arabs who live in the Land of Israel. There is nothing distinct about them which distinguishes them from any other Arab - same language, same religion, same culture, same food, etc. They don't even have a unique history. Now, if we understood you correctly, Israel is to be a Jewish state and Palestine a Palestinian state. Okay. Does that mean that no Jews can live in Palestine? And if so, then can we evict all Arabs from Israel or, at least deny them the right to vote and be members of the Knesses? But, if Arabs can continue to live and build in Israel, then why shouldn't Jews do the same in Palestine? Seems like after all this time, Mr. Obama still does not have a clew as to what is really going on in this part of the world and what has to be done to achieve peace. Oy vey.

The only things I could not agree with are the order of things: Previous experience has shown clear that the negotiations must begin with the major controversies that always blows everything. And that means., recognizing Israel's right to exist, the right of return is not realistic vision for the twostate solution and the issue of Jerusalem the eternal capital of the Jewish people that 3000 years. Another issue, that less people are aware of is a matter of Palestinian archaeological terrorism in the city of Jerusalem which destroys all traces of historical buildings, archaeological findings that are not of Islam. This thing has to stop. Even if Jerusalem will be divided at the end as part of the arrangement honor all religions in the city have to stay.
