31. STOP THIS MADNESS! BUILD ISRAEL BUILD!
stude ham   (05.19.11)
reclaim all of the lands these foreign invaders have stolen from you. BUILD ISRAEL BUILD!
32. Why do you blame HAMAS then?
Westbanker ,   West Bank   (05.19.11)
If Israel will not recognize the existence of Palestine as an independent state on 1967 borders, then why you guys blame Hamas for not recognition Israel?
33. who is refusing peace ?
NadMan ,   PALESTINE   (05.19.11)
it's obvious who refuse peace, Israel is the one who is refusing peace . It's a Great chance for jews to finally have a homeland. after suffering all over the world and being kicked out of everywhere, what is wrong with more than 85% of Historical Palestine to make your country on ??? But nooooo, you want more and more, ok keep doing this, and you will lose support more and more everyday, usa is sick of ur actions, be careful ... make peace before it's too late ... PEACE
34. To Salma..
Rafi   (05.19.11)
You attacked Israel..remember?...little and weak Israel against 7 strong established Arab states...wanting what the world granted us..you lost what they had given you...and it could have been Israel asking that you give us back if we had survived that is...the more you try the more you lose...and after losing wars against us...you are now just asking to give you back?...we did not take it Salma...you were not happy with it and lost it yourself wanting more...won't you learn once and for all....stop and keep what you have now before you lose it too...everything you have done you are responsible for...would you not start wars, they would be no losers and no winners...and everyone would keep what is theirs...time to stop and think...and especially to blame everyone but you!!!!
35. #18 Salma
jake ,   Canada   (05.19.11)
What were exactly "your" "Palestine" borders in 1948? What was exactly "Palestine" ? Let me remind you that such a state did not exist.... such a nation did not exist... It was invented by Arafak in 1967. If indeed existed why West Bank did not claim independence from Jordan before 1967 and why Gaza did not claim independence from Egypt before 1967? Like your leaders before, you are continuously inventing a new History.
36. Obama will get re-elected - time to Stand With Israel
Yid ,   USA   (05.19.11)
Bibi understands that the 1967 borders are indefensible(they are called Auschwitz borders for a reason). Obama understands this too, then why does he propose this? He offers only very little concessions to the Israeli viewpoint(he hardly condemned Hamas!), before he goes into his usual Israel-bashing routines. Why do American Jews keep voting for him in 80+ % numbers and raise money for him time and time again? He will likely be re-elected come November next year. The situation is grim now, we need to pull together and work as one, NOT support our enemies with money and votes.
37. #10observer:::YOU CAN'T AWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT,....
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (05.19.11)
You can't always get what you want. But if you try, sometimes, You just might find You get what you need. If Observer is so dissatisfied and cannot live without making silly demands and threats,he always has the option of becoming a rolling stone. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
38. TO OBAMA
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (05.19.11)
Go forth and multiply.
39. obama
canada ,   canada   (05.19.11)

41. There is no (Jewish) OCCUPATION
Game over ,   Israel   (05.19.11)
and there are NO SETTLEMENTS (by Jews) according to International Law. WHEN is Israel going to say this??
42. #27. Livni's conduct is very close to treason.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.19.11)
#27. You are spot on about Livni. Obama is an enemy of Israel. Every rational person knows that. However, Livni is supposed to be loyal to Israel. She is supposed to place Israel far before the wishes of all. Yet she deliberately attempted to downgrade Netanyahu, as he engaged in a very important speech to Israel's Congressional allies. Livni is not on Israel's side. She is a disgrace. In fact, her conduct is very close to treason.
43. #10. No Palestine because it's a fictional state.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.19.11)
#10. Do you really believe there will be no Israel unless we allow a hostile new Palestine to arise in our tiny Homeland? It is nonsense for every sane perspective. There is no Palestine, our land, and never will be one because Palestine is a fictional state like Oz and Neverland. Another declaration of Palestine statehood will be an even bigger fiasco than the last one. After it blows sky high, nobody will take Palestine statehood seriously.
44. @ 1
sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (05.19.11)
Mr. Rabbi, with all due respect Americans agree with Obama. We support you 100%, however President Clinton, President Bush and Secretary of State Clinton has said the same thing 1967 borders will bring peace. You need to get rid of that incompetent BIBI who doesn't care about the security of your citizens because if he did Hamas wouldn't of launched missiles into your hearts with impunity and Hezbollah wouldn't have the capability that they have now.
45. YHWH says NO to 1967 borders. PM is in good company.
Rivkah   (05.19.11)
46. #32 Westbanker,YOU'RE IRRATIONAL
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (05.19.11)
Palestine does not exist,so cannot be recognized. To do so is delusional. The State of Israel DOES exist. To not recognize it,like Hamas is to be withdrawing into a fantasy world. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
47. #18 Salma. We'll pay you fairly to leave our land.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.19.11)
#18 Salma. You are in no position to demand anything of Israel. We'll pay your fairly to leave our land and you should consider yourself very lucky. If Abbas makes another fictional declaration of Palestine statehood, it will be an even bigger fiasco than the last one. When the smoke clears, nobody will take Palestine statehood seriously again.
48. Israeli Reaction to obama
DavidPennsylvaniaUSA ,   Reading, PA, USA   (05.19.11)
As an American, I stand with Israel.
49. Contiguous State
William Sachel ,   USA   (05.19.11)
Contiguous State means splitting Israel in two.
50. Most Israelis upport PM Benjamin Netanyahu
Anthony David Marks ,   Israel   (05.19.11)
I proudly support PM Benjamin Netanyahu as do the vast majority of Israelis. Only a strong Israel will insure peace in the Middle East. If a a Palestinian state were ever established, no doubt the long arm of Iran would soon control it in one way or another. Does anybody seriously dispute this? Israel will never reliquish its Jewish identity which is its raison d'etre. The Arabs have stated they will never accept this. The claim that once a Palestinian state is establish there will be 'peace in the world' is just another fairy tale. Don't believe this nonsense its is only show business.
51. Why Not???
Spencer ,   Avon, CT, USA   (05.19.11)
Why not give back the country of Palestine that existed in the pre-1967 borders? Oh, wait a mimute....THERE WAS NO PRE-1967 COUNTRY OF PALESTINE.!! Does Jordan want Judea and Samaria back?? No. Does Egypt want Gaza back? No.
52. What happened to defensable borders.
J1 ,   Earth   (05.19.11)
This president sat in Rev. Wright's church for 20 years. He marched with Rev Farakhan What did you think he was going to do?
53.  2. Re 2:Judea and Samaria = ONE BLOC ! - Actualy
ovadyah ,   hales   (05.19.11)
in the book of ezekiel/Yezkiel in the thirtyseventh chapter it talks of bringing two sticks togather one stick ephriam/joseph(samaria) and the other stick Judea.... and from all current events it seems that now is time for that prophecey to come to past. let move forward with that thought
54. NO 10
LION OF JUDAH   (05.19.11)
You can demand NOTHING.Your homeland is in Arabia.Go home where you belong
55. #49 William Sachel CONTIGUOUS:BLAIR'S WORD.
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (05.19.11)
As far as I'm aware,it was the sly Israel hater,Tony Blair, who first threw that expression, contiguous state, into the arena. We warned you before he was elected that Obama looked like an American Tony Blair but you wouldn't listen. However, contiguous doesn't only mean continuous,it also has the meaning of adjoining, touching, having borders with.A Palestinian State CAN be in two parts and still be contiguous with Israel. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
56. livni again
alexi   (05.19.11)
barak, olmert and livni offered huge concessions and plo/hamas said no. What is israel supposed to do-beg. Peace cannot be the result of seduction. Its either real or forget it. Those who fear like barak, livni and olmert rush to concessions that have gotten israelis killed. Bibi's comments are right on-period-end of story. That haniyeh plays soccer is interesting,v ery interesting.
57. No. No, no no, no, no...NO!
Ypip ,   Canada   (05.19.11)
58. 90% of american jews voted form
glenn ,   palm beach   (05.19.11)
you cant complain now.....hes your guy..........
59. Bibi, when you meet Obama, tell him like you mean it!
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (05.19.11)
It's clear that Israel had little to no input on this speech. It came out *after* he met King Abdullah II of Jordan, but on the eve of his meeting with Netanyahu. That had to be deliberate, as if to say "This is our policy. Tell me how you're going to implement it." Well, like Begin and Shamir before him, Netanyahu has to remind Obama that "Israel is not a vassal state." And to those who think Israel must do the conceding for the sake of peace, he must insist as Sharon said that "Israel will not play the part of Czechoslovakia". I read the full text of Obama's speech and it is rife with naivete and wooden-headedness. He sees the changes that have taken place in the region but, because he doesn't truly understand them, puts them in the context of the same overall policy that's left the US position in the region in shambles. This is Netanyahu's moment. He *must* stand for Israel's rights and national interests, even at the cost of exiting out the back door. As to Livni, all I can say is "Shame on you!"
60. Livni the premadona trying to stab Netanyahu in the back
Mike ,   Oxford UK   (05.19.11)
Obama is no friend to the Jews and I expected little more from him. Livni however should be ashamed of herself. She should put the interests of the country before her own political ambitions. This is a time for political unity not political point scoring. The future peace and security are at stake. Shame on you Zipi
