As the political debates continue, the prophetic passages of God's Word give us great insight into the significance of Obama's new Middle East policy. As it relates to the land that Obama demands Israel give to the Palestinians, this land does not belong to the United States who are making these demands, but it does belong to God (Leviticus 25:23). As it relates to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, the Bible says that Jesus will return to this area and reign among the Jewish people from a temple on the Temple Mount forever (Zechariah 1:16, 6:12, Psalm 132:13-14). The fact that a Gentile world leader is dictating to the Jewish people about the Temple Mount and what should happen there is exactly what Jesus Christ said would happen - that Jerusalem would come under control of the Gentile world powers at the time of the end and remain under their control until He returns to the earth (Luke 21:24). In one speech, US President Obama has not only fulfilled Bible prophecy but he has also set the stage for additional Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Stay away from the fence, it'[s not like it's any secret, is it? Your NOT suppose to go near the fence, if you do the IDF will shoot at you, are these people in kindergarten, or just desperate for Pallywood?
3. There is no reason to mourn him

By the time you read t his, he will have received his allotment of 72 Virgins, he's now relaxed and extremely content

justin austin   (05.21.11)
if not about the man being KILLED BY IDF it's about the man's age (they always claim it was a 21 year old child????). I have learned not to believe them.
5. The Arabic culture of death
sk ,   USA   (05.21.11)
Let them reap what they sow. Simple!
6. whose culture?
Daniel   (05.21.11)
Israeli soldiers, safe in their guard post, murdered an unarmed man. They didn't fire tear gas, rubber bullets, or warning shots, they sniped him with live ammo. And you claim it's the Arabs who have a culture of death?
7. @6 how do you know he was unarmed?
Joe ,   St Louis usa   (05.21.11)
Or maybe strapped to explosives? Attempting to cross a border is a national invasion, and some of the "protestors" on the northern borders were in fact armed. Try calling for destruction of the US while climbing the fence outside the whitehouse, and see what happens. Or the Vatican or Buckingham palace or most any border crossing. Heck- break through the border from Canada to the US while calling for destruction of the US and ignoring the police. You will be shot. Try it!
8. @7: wrong, wrong, and wrong
Daniel   (05.21.11)
Don't you think if he was armed or carrying explosives Ynet would say that? It's not like Ynet is exactly sympathetic to the Palestinians. And does it say he was trying to cross or climbing a fence? No, it does not. And no, someone climbing the White House fence or the U.S. border with Canada is not shot by a sniper, they are arrested. If force is necessary, nonlethal force is used. Was the 78 year old man killed last week also such a terrible threat he had to be murdered not arrested? The IDF shows callous disregard for any life that's not Jewish. When settlers throw rocks at the police, do the police use snipers on them? No.

Now we know if he was armed. At the time he was simply an unknown person invading a country that his govt had declared war against, by breaching a fenced border. Palestinians frequently strap dynamite to kids, women and yes, even 78 year old men. Protesters who do not threaten border crossings are free to protest and they do. And yes, people have been shot for attempting to breach whitehouse security. It depends how threatening they appear to be. A person calling for a country's destruction while breaching a border is treated as a serious threat. A person entering from a neighbor who has declared war is a threat as well.

There is no evidence that he was armed, carrying explosives or trying to single handily destroy Israel is there? Using your logic, should the worlds non-Jews then believe that all Jews think that "Goyim Were Born Only To Serve Jews" simply because Rabbi Yosef, the head of Shas’s Council of Torah Sages and a senior Sephardi rabbi, said so?

with your life, fell free to do so As for mine, I'll be very cautious

You're still clinging to the claim the dead man was trying to breach the fence, though it doesn't say anything like that in the article. And you give no answer to why nonlethal force wasn't used first. A 78 year old man, walking on Palestinian land, does not deserve to be murdered by a sniper. Even if he was carrying explosives, he would have to get very close to do anyone any harm. How fast does a 78 year old man on foot move? Why couldn't warning shots have been fired, or tear gas, or a rubber bullet? There is no excuse to snipe a human being far away from you like you're hunting rabbits. The IDF has a culture that Palestinian life is worth nothing. One second an old man is walking near your fence, the next he is dead. "The most moral army in the world"? You're fooling no one.
13. Tone of article. Ynet needs to be pro not anti Israel
Yael Lewis ,   Israel   (05.22.11)
Why is news about Israel sound "anti-Israel". The way this is written, " 78-year-old Ahmad Matar was SHOT TO DEATH by IDF soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip after he approached the border fence." I mean this man was a Palestinian who approached the border fence probably screaming and threatening. And it was most likely a mistike from the israeli side. Why does this article make it to sound so harsh? Instead write "because of Palestian aggression one was accidently killed by Israel..." Because for a fact Sodiers DO NOT have the go from thier commanders to shoot to kill almost ever. That is Why they aim for the legs and with rubber bullets at that. He obviously got WAY too close to have been killed. And what about the Soldiers in the north who were got rocks thrown at by Syrians who illegally crossed the boarder, IDF soldiers were not allowed to shoot, and therefore were injured(limbs broken, teeth broken). 18-20 year old BOYS. Why isn't this written? If ynet doesn't write articles to be pro-Israel or telling Israel's side of the story, who will? Especially in English in which the rest of the world reads this.

Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (05.22.11)
you are likely to get shot, what part of "Don't do that" is not taught in the arab schools? The army on the other side with guns is not obligated to say, "Oh gee, I feel like disobeying orders today and letting people come in even if they have suicide vests." I think I will be very polite and take lots of extra chances and if my army buddies get killed, will that's OK, its better than the possibility of an enemy being killed. When the arabs want to take the chance that they will be killed, they take the chance they will be killed.
15. #10; Joseph, SHOW YOUR SOURCE
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (05.22.11)
Let's see this source of your so called Rabbi, that I've never heard of? What sort of following does he have? For instance in the last two weeks Hamas leaders have stated: 1) To Reverse recognizing Israel; 2) Not to negotiate with Israel; 3) They will not give up the "right of return", because it would "forfeit the the right of future generations to take back a ALL lands of Palestine" (PUT simply to destroy Israel at a future date). So save your laughable and stupid comparisons. There is NO MORAL EQUIVALENCY between what an obscure ultra-orthodox Rabbi with almost No public support (1%-2%) says. When you compare it to Hamas that has huge popular support (i.e. about 70% in Gaza, and 42% of the total Pal population). I'm never surprised by how desperate the anti-Israel writer's are to make their points. So they distort facts, make Apple and Orange comparisons. It's testament to just how weak their arguments are. I don't care about the guy who intentionally provoked the IDF, for a cynical PR moment. When Syria kills and tortures thousands, these same people who feign outrage, say nothing. The laughable "Cherry Picking" of events to vilify Israel betray their true motivations. It isn't human rights, that's for sure.

You cited an allaeged quote from a Rabbi that nobody ever hear of, I will cit a Paragraph from the Koran, which all Muslims must abide by Dhimmi's (people other than Muslim's) are inferior to Muslim's, and must be treated accordingly 1) They are to wear distintive colors 2) When a Muslim approaches they are to stip into the gutter so thatir stature will be less than a Muslim Want more?, Just ask, I'll be supply quotes from your own Koran
