You don't get it Joe. When Obama talked about the 67 borders it was how he phrased it that pissed off the Israeli's. Obama stated "the 1967 borders" which violates Resolution 242, and that was a hard fought Resolution. When it came to the wording, the words "the' and "all" and the phrase of returning to the 67 borders were not mentioned. It caused a heated debate in the UN. The Russians argued if you left off the words "the" or "all" then it would be interpreted as Israel being able to keep some of the land they won in that defensive war. The Arab League argued the same. But the author's said that was the intention of the Resolution 242, that the previous lines were not secure or defensible, and Israel would have to keep some land for security. That it should be decided between the parties involved, NOT the UN. Now 45 years later the President of the USA Obama, gave the Pals the wording by using the phrase "the 1967 borders". He used a word "the" which was NOT in the 242 Resolution. So the Israeli's look at it as, giving away something contrary to Res. 242, before the parties even sit down. While it seems like a little thing, it wasn't in 1967, when 242 was written. otherwise the Arab League and the Russian delegate wouldn't have argued so strenuously against NOT including those two words. Get it Joe?

Liberals were determined to bankrupt Sarah Palin with nuisance lawsuits. When she was offered a book deal which paid MUCH better than any political office she resigned for her family's sake. Not surprisingly the lawsuits dried up immediately afterward. Speaking as an Alaskan voter, she greatly improved Alaska in her short time in office as governor until her grassroots campaign to get rid of the "good ol' boy" network in our state politics was promoted to a national level by John McCain. But the good ol' boys in Washington DC (Liberal and Conservative) couldn't have that and went out of their way to undermine her. Strangely they attacked her experience when she had FAR, FAR more executive experience (as a business owner, mayor, and governor) than Barack Obama (none of the above) who was running for president while she was only a vice-presidential candidate. His inexperience and naivete are showing at every turn: economic (remember the bailouts?), a health care plan that not even Democrats wanted, and now suggesting that moving Israel's borders back to where they were THE LAST TIME THEY WERE ATTACKED will bring peace. Sarah's problem isn't that she isn't qualified for the White House, she just makes too much common sense for Washington insiders to allow her to succeed.

If not because of Palin, McCain would have done much poorly. The fact is Palin is an excellent communicator and a better campaigner. She attracts huge crowds of several thousand people in campaign rallies across America. Unlike other politicians, she has charisma.
