1. Let's just stop playing games with these guys
DIE ,   Israel   (05.23.11)
55 arab countries in the ME is enough.
2. This is the real problem. "It's not Israel stupid"
jj   (05.23.11)
The Palis have always wanted the all territory including the Israeli one. Even if they do agree on the 67' ones, they will also demand the right of return of Palis to the Israeli soil = there will be Palis in both sides of the borders = it will all be Palestine. Israel will seize to exist.
3. So typical of the arabs
Matt   (05.23.11)
After rejecting the UN resolution from 1948 trying to have it all resulting by losing it all, the Palestinians have the nerve to demand what they rejected and lost as a consequence of their own violence. My question is if they have won, would they ever sit with the Israelis and try to sign a peace agreement? Why do they think that their violence has no impact on their rights over the rights of the Jews?
4. 89000 km2 (jordan)+5000km2=94000km2
Trumpeldor   (05.23.11)
94000km2 /114000 km2 =82%of the whole palestinian mandate for arabs !
5. Lets Discus giving Gaza back to Egypt to deal with
Umm El Kul Naqba   (05.23.11)
In 1948 5 Arab Armies tried to destroy Israel. But the PAL hostilities and murder of Jews started a half century earlier along with the corroboration of the Grand Mufti Haj Amin Al Husseini with Hitler. Gaza was part of Egypt then. Gaza should go back to Egypt and everytime they shoot rockets at us and murder our families and children, they should be pushed another 50 kilometers away into the Sinai to create a greater buffer zone until the longest range Iranian missile will not have enough range even if it means pushing them to Libya.
6. The Key to Defeating HAMAS is to understand the Arab
meir elazar   (05.23.11)
mind. Their first priority above all else is land. They are willing to sacrifice as many Israelis and PALs as needed for a millimeter of sand. Therefore each terrorist attack must be met with the permanent loss of land. Every launch site must be repossessed and they must lose more land until they have nothing or accept Israel with what they have left and come to any terms they can. They are is no position to dictate terms and must accept any scrap we are willing to give them.
7. 9th December 1917
Jordan ,   Aman   (05.23.11)
Lets go back to the Ottoman borders for Palestine .between 1516 and 1917. in which case Jordan is also part of Palestine
8. Germany and Japan didn't dictate terms
Ilan ,   Ariel   (05.23.11)
The Palestinians, on one hand take no responsibility for their defeat in the war in '48, but on the other hand still think that they can push us into the sea. So who can be surprised that Zahar thinks that we should negotiate on the rejected (by the Arabs) partition lines of '48. They are unredeemed followers of the Mufti.
9. Totally Incredible
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem   (05.23.11)
Zahar of HAMAS still wants us to continue dreaming of pre-1948 lands ! Israel is even reluctant to talk about the 1967 lines, so does Zahar of HAMAS expect Israel to be willing to talk about the 1947 partition ? Is he living on planet earth or does he still intend to cause us more damage and harm by talking his nonsense ? I am Palestinian. I was born in Jerusalem , but both my parents were born in Majdal (Migdal) to the east of Ashkelon before 1948.My granfather's home is still there but I would be more than willing to get compensation in order to start a new life somewhere else !
10. heah Al-Zahar, right away...what else?

13. YES!!!

18. Now it`s "48 lines time" for Hamas
Nora Tel Aviv   (05.23.11)
At least the Hamas leaders say what they wil do to Israel.. They are readying themselves the Hizballah way in order to overpower ,politically or not, those Fatah "boys" from Ramallah and get to the 48 lnes.

23. Hamastan
Max ,   Washington DC   (05.23.11)
Zahar is a spokesman for the Hamas terrorist group which occupies Gaza. Someday Israel's patience may run out and the IDF will free the Gaza civilians from the terrorists,

Talula ,   Israel   (05.23.11)
I have to say that Mahmoud al-Zahar is really ugly. He has got the face that not even a mother could love. As for the rest of the article, he should look it up in the Not Going To Happen book.

Arie ,   BaGolan   (05.23.11)

29. From the ridiculous to the sublime
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.23.11)
And these are the people that the international community seems to think make for a spiffy "peace" partner. These are the people to which the international community believes Israel should mortgage its security. What Israel needs to do is give the international community a giant "f**k you," and bomb Gaza into the Stone Age (won't take long; those primitive murderers are halfway there already). Put an end to all that loose talk from an international community that cozies up to terrorist thugs. At the end of the day, Israel's security is Israel's problem -- so-called "guarantees" from the West are meaningless. The time to deal with the security issues is now. Israel has soft-pedaled this long enough. The best way to show the international community and the terrorist toadies it so blatantly supports exactly what we think about borders is to make new ones. The annexation of Judea and Samaria (with the concomitant repatriation of its Arab residents to Jordan) and the reacquisition of Gaza, its annexation and the repatriation of its residents to Egypt) will send Israel's message perfectly.
30. To: No. 17
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.23.11)
Two sides to every coin, dear. In this instance, the other side of the coin would be repatriating all you ersatz "Palestinians" that illegally squat on Jewish land and make innumerable problems for Israel to Jordan, where you can build your ersatz "Palestinian" state and call it whatever you want. Israel does not need the traitorous presence of a fifth column that bites the hand that has made it prosperous. Really we don't.
