As a Jew who grew up in America and made alliya12 years ago, I know Dr. Fayyad personally and can tell you that you are way off base. I believe that the possibility of peace in my lifetime here is close to nil -- HOWEVER, the BEST chance we could ever have is through a leader like Salaam Fayyad. He is a true believer in peace and equality -- I am honored to know him and truly hope that more of his people will listen to him and follow his leadership!

Back in '67 Egypt had control of Gaza, which they absolutely refused to take back after it was captured by Israel. And Jordan? Well they'll have to take back the West Bank - those, after all, were the '67 borders. He probably had a heart attack wondering what would happen when the rest of the world sees how Egypt and Jordan refuse to take back Gaza and the West Bank- both filled to the brim with Palestinians.
