1. More proof the Palestinians do not want peace
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (05.24.11)
Listen to this, folks, and tell me where I'm reading this wrong: "Palestine is the national homeland of the Palestinian people." Does that sound right? Yes? No? Maybe? So if the above is correct, then there is nothing wrong with "Israel is the national homeland of the Jewish people." So either there is no "Palestinian people", or they exist but they are true racists.
2. Israel was forced in Palestine, time to force Palestine also
Ann ,   UK   (05.24.11)
3. Hypocrites
Jay3 ,   Israel   (05.24.11)
They call us racist, even though Abbas clearly stated that NO Jews would be allowed to live in any future Palestinian state.
4. Great job, BIBI! You did it! They are ticked off!
Israeli 2   (05.24.11)
5. I could have written the Arab reaction before the speech
Michael Steiner ,   Bahrain   (05.24.11)
This is how they always react. Arabs are the greatest obstacle to Peace in the all the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. Go back home to Arabia!
6. Entire World agrees with Abbas and PA
christianpalestinian ,   las vegas   (05.24.11)
Israel is in clear violation of many UN resolutions and International Laws pertaining to their illegal occupation of the west bank and east jerusalem.
7. Keep standing firm Bibi
Rachel ,   US   (05.24.11)
Do not let Obama think he can rough shod you into going back to 67 borders or giving up Jerusalem. If he detects any weakness whatsoever, it's over for Israel.
8. Who cares what they say anymore?
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (05.24.11)
Nothing the Palestinians say is news-worthy anymore. It's all BS. The story about the guy with the small penis was more news-worthy than what Palestinians say. So, please, YNET, spare us this dreck from now on.
9. No, entire world getting fed up with Palestinians
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (05.24.11)
The world is getting ready to put even money on the black and the red, spin the wheel, and live with the consequences. Odds are, of course, that the ball will land on 0 instead. Instead of negotiating, the Palestinians launched an intifada. Instead of running Gaza, they had a civil war and killed each other, then continued to fire missiles at Israeli civilians. When Bibi announced a construction freeze in 2010, the Palestinians refused to negotiate. When the freeze ended, they suddenly decided that they couldn't negotiate because there was no freeze. The entire world is getting fed up with the Palestinians. They will go to the UN and get their vote, declare a state in all of "Palestine", and they will get yet another war instead of peace. The Palestinians prove again and again that they cannot and/or will not sign a peace treaty.
10. CRAZY WORLD, CRAZY PEOPLE
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (05.24.11)
At least we can see how the Pals twist the truth to suit their political agenda, which is to destroy Israel. We have a all heard the multiple calls from Hamas stating they will NEVER recognize Israel or their right to exist. In fact it has gone to ridiculous proportions, where Hamas has stated that first Israel should allow a Palestinian State, then and only then will they say how they will regard Israel. Well talk about preconditions?! Have you ever heard of anything that ludicrous? They won't recognize Israel first. They want a New Arab State and then they will do Israel the favor, of TELLING Israel, what they think and if they will recognize Israel?! Would any country in the world accept such a silly proposal?
11. what's that
Palestinian Official ,   ISRAEL   (05.24.11)
and why mind their critics i mean who's asking? they will always critisize who Needs them
12. #6 what law?
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (05.24.11)
Israel is not violating any International Law. As for UN resolutions, they are by definition declarations and you can't violate them. Sorry. But even if it were true, as we speak Obama's forces are bombing civilian targets in Tripoli Libya. Almost a month ago, Obama murdered three of Gaddafi's grandchildren. And of course, Obama watched while his forces murdered three unarmed men when they illegally assassinated Bin laden. These and other Obama activities are clear violations of International Law and of UN Security Council decisions. How dare you complain about Israel when your own President is a real war criminal? Come back to us after you impeach Obama for his war crimes.
13. PM Netanyahu is correct. Doing great job for Israel.
USA   (05.24.11)
I wish he would also say that conflict is not teritorial, but a religious one. Everybody knows this and should understand this. Looking forward to hearing him lay out his ideas tonight.
14. Gordian knot.
Gabe Yakmore ,   Canada   (05.24.11)
There should be a limit to the Pali nonsense. They should face a choice with a deadline. Either unconditional peace or expulsion.
15. Admit it, the negotiations are over!
Jon ,   Baltimore US   (05.24.11)
The Palestinians may as well admit that the negotiations are over and they lost; everything. The Israeli governments over the years have dragged things on and on, building settlements the entire time. Now there is a right wing government in power who will not give even as much as the Palestinians turned down before and noone in the world can make them. Give it up. The only way that they can do anything now for even a few of their people is to collapse the Palestinian Authority and make Israel take over the entire area. Then they have to give citizenship to everyone or accept the condemnation of the world as an apartheid state. The Israelis have already taken most of the land and all of Jerusalem and the Golan. The "peace process" is dead. Face it.
16. Perceptions of penis size are culture-specific...
Ypip ,   Canada   (05.24.11)
oops! wrong talk-back....
17. The Palestinians take words outof context to their convinenc
(05.24.11)
That is what they have been doing during 63 years. The demand res 80 from UN but then they did not accepted. They demand comply with 242, which says the territorial limits will have correction after 1967 to secure borders for Israel Nataniahu said we will make concessions but not sacrifiying Israes security
18. #6 The entire world is wrong. So, what else is new?
(05.24.11)
19. Pals trying to claim Israel through 242 and 194
Sam ,   Canada   (05.24.11)
Palestinian criticism of Israel is a propaganda show aimed at putting Israel in a bad light to the international community. From there they want international sympathy for them to support their version of resolution 242 and give them the 1967 lines. From there they want the international community to support resolution 194 and allow a flood of refugees into Israel proper. Palestinians criticize Israel to gain world sympathy and through that sanctions and boycotts of Israel.
20. Entire world agrees with Abbas
M.Gerald Fried ,   Skokie. USA   (05.24.11)
As a Christian you must be insane to think that Abbas is a friend of yours. Under PLO control to date the number of Christians has shrunk to such a low figure your survival is in doubt. They built there house of worship almost on top of your church. You ought to check your facts before you make such stupid remarks. PLO has killed hundreds of Christians.
21. 2 state solution is 2 arab states!
Don Rosenberg ,   Palatine USA   (05.24.11)
The arabs have a state called jordan, which nobody talks about. How about 2 Israels? The arabs lost 5 wars, were offered a 2nd state 3 times. These morons should be told NO NO NO and NO. If they want another war, then annihilate them and give them their 700 virgins.
22. #12
Michael ,   Haifa   (05.24.11)
The Geneva Convention explicitly forbids populating militarily captured territories with civilian settlements. But I guess that you may possibly claim that god's promise to Abraham overides the Geneva Convention
23. #6 christianpalestinian
Phil ,   Ireland   (05.24.11)
You should tell the truth if you call yourself "chiristian". The only legally binding UN Resolution on Israel is 242 and it requires a negotiated peace and a return to secure and recognised borders. The Arabs are in breach of this Resolution. There is no illegal occupation. Please quote the law you say Israel is violating.
24. Where is palestine?
David ,   America   (05.24.11)
I have searched maps, No Palestine!! Many say Jordan is Palestine. Sorry, I searched my Tanakh and found that all the land between the Nile River and the Euphrates River and the Great Sea belong to the Descendants of Ya'acov! Sorry Turkey, that includes part of you. Sorry Egypt, that includes part of you. Sorry Saudi Arabia, that includes you. Sorry Syria, you are included also. Sorry Jordan and Lebanon but you don't exist either! I've Searched high and low, but, No Palestine! Sorry about your luck Arabs.
25. Michael
Richard ,   NY, US   (05.24.11)
That prohibition is for offensive war, NOT DEFENSIVE. Get your facts straight!!
26. Théâtre de l'Absurde
NadePaulKuciGravMcKi ,   the states   (05.24.11)
9/11 was very good for Israel . Benjamin Netanyahu . Théâtre de l'Absurde . Benjamin Netanyahu . 9/11 was very good for Israel
27. Fake Christian # 6
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (05.24.11)
If you were a Christian you would know that ALL of Jeruslem belongs to Isreal forever. Crybaby.
28. 27
birdi ,   israel   (05.24.11)
oh, oh, Eglebeak, you've got your clever cap on this evening. kudos.
29. *Ann - you have a real intellect for 'history' ...
Lee ,   Manchester UK   (05.24.11)
you make me embarrassed to be from the same islands as you! However i have to remember 'new alternative comedy' - your 'great' in playing the ignorant and great uneducated oaf that makes every laugh with pity for. Ahh bless - you think Israel was 'forced' on 'palestinians' but show no reference at all to said Palestinians being Jews from the middle ages right up til around '64 - 1964 ann! And no mention either that the Jews have lived there LONGER than anybody else has lived there . Like i say keep up the wit ann.
30. "negotiation with Israel absurd and wrong"
William ,   Israel   (05.25.11)
I didn't realize anyone was negotiating with Israel. Abbas left the negotiating table months ago and has since reverted to threats of diplomatic action, a 3rd intifada, and a long list of demands before returning to the negotiating table. Perhaps among Arabs, this is called "negotiating". In the rest of the world, this is called "extortion"
