2. Great Speech..but..
Joe ,   London, UK   (05.24.11)
Bibi knows only too well that the palestinians will not sit down with us He has just called their bluff. All rhetoric, but a year from now and we'll be in the same situation. Now just wait for the birrage of the anti bibi campaign to come to light!
3. KOL HAKOVOD BIBI!
stude ham   (05.24.11)
I HAVE JUST FINISHED WATCHING BIBI'S SPEECH TO THE US CONGRESS DELIVERED LIVE ON CNN. THE NUMBER OF STANDING OVATIONS BIBI RECEIVED FROM THE GATHERED CONGRESSMEN MADE ME VERY PROUD TO BE WITH ISRAEL. BUILD ISRAEL BUILD!
4. Netanyahu is a man of his word
observer ,   Egypt   (05.24.11)
Half of Israeli Jews are Mizrahi. Israel's democracy is for Jews and Arabs provided that they were born Jews.
5. Outstanding performance by Netanyahu
Marco ,   Spain   (05.24.11)
The mention of militant Islam being the biggest threat in the world today is a direct rebuke of Osama=Obama always excusing Islam's terrorism. Livini needs to to kiss Bibi's feet.
6. "J'lem will not be divided"
Marco ,   Spain   (05.24.11)
Netanyahu's stupidity means that your children will never ever know peace....
7. I just saw Netanyahu speak ......
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (05.24.11)
Netanyahu was fantastic, a master, a real statesman. And he got many, many standing ovations .......all defending Israel's interests. Really, great job. Bravo.
8. The truth hurts
anon ,   Johannesburg   (05.24.11)
And he told the world the truth
9. Jerusalem has always been ONE city for thousands of years
Yaniv ,   Israel   (05.24.11)
except between 1948-1867 when Arab war criminals forcefully expelled Jews from east of Jerusalem and occupied it for 19 years until liberated by Israel. These Arabs think they are entitled to a piece of Jerusalem because they occupied it for 19 years of its thousands of years history as one city, is not only fraudulent and dishonest, but also laughable.

You made Israelis and her supporters proud.
13. there wasn't applause for his Islamophobia incitement
observer ,   Egypt   (05.24.11)
But, there was lots of applause when Netanyahu denounced anti-Antisemitism. Maybe because the American law-makers are after issuing anti-Islamophobia law.
14. A statesman has spoken - No, not Obama
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (05.24.11)
I've not been Netanyahu's biggest fan, because too often he's caved to US or international pressure. But he did what he had to do on this trip and showed who's the real statesman. Didn't catch quite all of the speech, but what I heard was terrific. As an exercise, call up the bios of Netanyahu and Obama, then tell me who should be the "leader of the free world". Obama's influence is only a result of his Office - not to his talents, qualifications or accomplishments. Without it he's just a junior senator with a big ego.
15. thank you
fad egypt   (05.24.11)
mr prime minister for refering to the persecution of christians in the middle east it was great speech god bless netanyahu and bless israel forever shalom
16. Strange, but we agree with Netanyahu 100%
Hezbollah ,   Bint Jbeil   (05.24.11)
Jerusalem will never be divided. It will always be the capital of a free independent Palestine. We will make sure of that.
17. UNGA 1949: Jerusalem should be under international control
observer ,   Egypt   (05.24.11)
For the sake of Israel, the Congress has to evade probable international military intervention.
18. @13 @4 what are you observing, observer?
joe ,   st louis usa   (05.24.11)
You call it "islomophobia" when Netanyahu correctly pointed out that islamic extremism is a threat to muslims? You really disagree that the only Arabs who enjoy true freedom are Israeli citizens? That's fine. You're entitled to your opinion, but keep in mind: the people of Egypt, Tunisia, Iran, Syria, Libya, Yemen, and Bahrain disagree with you so strongly that they are willing to risk (and lose) their very lives. How's that for an observation?
19. your clone is much smarter than you'll ever be.......LOL!
(05.24.11)

david ,   uk   (05.24.11)
24. Joplin,Missouri was divided,cut in half
Marcel ,   Florida   (05.24.11)
"It cut the city in half" Fire Chief Mitch Randles,Joplin, Missouri ' And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.' Zechariah 12:3 The U.S. needs to quickly learn the truth about God's promise to those who assume to cut Jerusalem in half.
25. Egyptian observer
IZL   (05.24.11)
Yes indeed, provided we are Jews (I am a mizrahi by the way). When I go Saudi Arabia the same holds for Saudi citizens, provided they were born Muslims.
26. Why does Israel always speak in other's terms.
Keren ,   IL-BR   (05.24.11)
I mean, why should Israel make "painfull"concessions? Why Israel does not start already speaking the truth ,which is that palestinians must move to Jordan, based in recent historical truth and facts. Better yet, that "palestinians"must be relocated into Arabia, where they belong. The amount of money that has been thrown in the bins with this hipocrisy, should be used to relocate these people. They will love to receive money and be relocated among their own ,to live in peace. Israel can help with technologies for them to farm and live in dignity in their own lands. The paradigm of this rot story must change. Bibi could start it!
27. #6 Marco from Spain
shmeelshiya ,   Winnipeg, Canada   (05.24.11)
Too bad you don't know any history, because then you'd know that Jerusalem was only recently divided, by the recently made state of Jordan. prior to 1948, and since 1967, it has always been undivided. It will remain undivided. In the meantime, why don't you work on Spain's problems.
28. Let's face it, folks ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.24.11)
There aren't very many foreign heads of state that are greeted by the United States Congress with a 20-minute standing ovation. There were three extremely long standing ovations in the course of the speech, and a resounding 20-minute standing ovation again at the end. In fact, there aren't very many U.S. presidents that have gotten anything close to that kind of a reception. What we saw today was the Congress of the United States informing the U.S. administration and every single country in the world exactly where their support lies. There are some very, very long faces in the White House and the U.S. State Department right about now. And some even longer ones in the "Palestine" Authority and the European Union. The American people have spoken. Thank you, United States Congress, for standing up to tyrants and terrorists!
29. #6 We will trade Jerusalem undivided
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (05.24.11)
and they will get Madrd in its entirety
30. Obama, would be unlikely to have a smile
RobJohn ,   Seattle, Wash.   (05.24.11)
on his face during this speech. His idea of an Israeli peace accord with the Pals is the total subjugation of Israel to them surrounding her. Don't be fooled by Obama's' talk. He is so far out of his depth as to be going under for the 3rd time. He loves adulation....from wherever. He even seeks it in Ireland....where according to him...his 5th removed grandfather originated. Wow, soon he'll be linked to my parentage. Really though, he is causing more harm to Israel than good. Be very wary of him. Way to go Netanyahu for your forthright speech. Don't wait with baited breath for the Pals to accept any of it. They want Israel removed....not shared.
