the western countries (and the rest of the world) should also end (diplomatic) relations and take further actions against the ca. 87 dictatorships in this world which oppress/surpress/exploit/murder their own peoples to stay in power as long as possible/until the bitter end and to help those peoples establish democratic constitutional states on their request and with assistance of the un.

What does the West plan to do when these supposed "democratic" revolutions get hijacked by military coups or fundamentalist Islamic interests? For heaven's sake -- the best way to predict the future is to look at the past. "Arab and/or Moslem" and "democracy" are diametrically opposed concepts. Most of those allegedly clamoring for democracy do not have a clue what it means or constitutes, and those that do have no use or desire for it because it might interfere with their ability to enrich themselves personally. Remember when the West enthusiastically heaped money (and weapons) on the mujahiddin in Afghanistan? Remember what they turned into? The Taliban. This "experiment" will not turn out any better. The best the West can hope for is that it does not end up much worse. A far better use of the $20 billion would be to improve the lives of the people in the member states of the G8 -- people who are unemployed and whose unemployment benefits have capped; people who have no medical insurance and are ill; people whose home are being foreclosed and are now facing homelessness ... if you can improve their lives, why on EARTH would you want to fund some illiterate fundamentalist Moslem who spends his Fridays screaming "Death to America! Death to Israel!" in front of the mosque?

Why help and give so much money to this nations? It will end up in some private bank account somewhere in a Swiss bank or else, the west will never learn, arabs will never use or help their people, this money will be splitted as usual between few ministers, oh c'mon! All these so-called "Arab Spring" protests are organized by the Muslim Brotherhood with help from the Iranians. Their goal is an Islamic caliphate and the destruction of Israel. Like their former allies the Nazis, the MB is using the hatred of Jews as a tactic to unite the Muslim world. Hamas is an offshoot of the MB. In Egypt since Mubarak was deposed, the MB has a candidate for president, they are allowing Iranian ships through the Suez Canal, have facilitated the Fatah-Hamas unity agreement, and have opened the Rafah crossing which will allow the free flow of weapons into Gaza. Next time you watch one of these protests, no matter in which Muslim country, count the Palestinian flags and Israeli flags scrawled with Nazi swastikas. This is where the $20 billion is going...and Obama and his G-8 allies are fully aware of it.

The western countries are offering $20 billion in the hopes that the Arab countries will behave themselves and not cause more turmoil. Well, they will take the money to consolidate and entrench the Islamic caliphate in the area from which it will work towards eventually engulfing the whole world. The nearest thing to democracy the west will ever see will be changing from one Islamic dictator to another. The Christians in the area will be butchered as the Islamists cleanse the area, as is already happening in Egypt and the west will do nothing to help them. Western money will support that kind of society.

Top U.S. gov't favorites, Muslim Brotherhood, are now the most powerful group in Egypt and attacks and killings of Christians and burnings of churches has increased enormously. Financing and empowering the most radical Islamic elements in the Middle East is the U.S. goal. Muslim Brotherhood operatives have been placed into key positions in the U.S. government. The Muslim Brotherhood goal: global Islamic conquest and destruction of Western civilization.

Cannot help but wonder if $20billion thrown into a crash program wouldn't find a secure replacement for Middle East and North African oil and natural gas. That would solve a lot of problems. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!

Ask a reformed and liberal Muslim/Arab how smart this move is....He will tell you that the Arabs have known about the West Achilles heel; human rights, democracy and freedom... and have used it to their full advantage in pursuit of their hidden agenda...giving them money - which they have plenty off - now to make things even easier and speedier for them is suicide.
